Working on a fanfic. Suggestions.

So I've been thinking about this for a couple days now. I'm thinking about writing a fanfic that would basically be the history of the shinigami. It would include such things as the first shinigami, rise of the gotei 13, shinigami-quincy war, the construction of the shinigami academy, etc. I'll be starting with the history of the first shinigami.

First Shinigami(no title yet)

So imagine a world where pluses and hollows are rampant and people constantly live in fear. Well what if say a vasto lorde were to somehow come across a power which allowed him to remove his mask, making him the first arrancar. Now lets say after he first speaks to the manifestation of his zanpakutoh, realizes the evils of hollows, and begins to develop these ideas and techniques that become the basis of the shinigami way. He then takes on an sort of a vasto lorde who is kind of like the king of hueco mundo. defeats him, and then creates a seperate dimension,soul society, and begins acquiring the first shinigami students.

Give me your opinions. I'll start writing once i get an idea on how people feel about this.

I can really get into a writing project sometimes. I actually managed to write 33 page double space story for my 10th grade ap english class. I think i can write 2 chapters week. I'll start soon, monday probably

Even if you're willing, it'll be a hard thing to do. You would have to explain every little detail... being careful not to retcon or leave plotholes. Then there are those who might not like your work, no offense, because of whatever changes to the background you might accidentally... or purposefully do.

Don't forget about the King of the Spirit World, or whatever he was called. And old man Yama was the creator of the Gotei btw..

This is going to be a rough project, no matter how good you are. There are so many things to explain... Kido, the concept of a Zanpakuto; how it works, and what started it all; life before SS and the Gotei. Who'd be there...

Yeah, its a great idea but you are taking on a huge project here. Just remember to do your research and stay true to the source material and if you manage to pull it off it should be an interesting read.

This is like the "Lord of the Rings" Massive project.
