1.Anime just proves again and again: shinigami are COOL.
I instantly liked Rukia after the first episode. There's just so many cool things things about her, I seriously think all of her traits are great: seiyuu, wit, humor, personality, appearance (horray for us petite girls! ^_^) way of talking (kisama-this and kisama-that XD) the way she bosses and kicks Ichigo around and that fake crying to get the students out of trouble was SO freaking HILARIOUS, that fake girly schoolgirl act she puts on is too funny, and I love her expressions, drawings,outfits,powers, and it's so cute to see her care so much about Ichigo (even if she physically abuses him from time to time XD) although she's just a cute character anyway. What's a straw? XD

2.I like Ichigo too-he's a tough guy with a hothead and good heart. I lurve guys like that! Plus he's sooo funny and he looks awesome when he's kickin' arse! He makes great expressions too like the "wtf" face-that's the best!

3.Hitsugaya "Shiro-chan", he's the namaiki kuso gaki and that's why I like him so much. XD I have a shouta complex, I admit it proudly! <3 And come on, he's a bishounen! It helps that he's so powerful! Whoo! Dragon! =D

4.Ishida-the hilarious archer/sewing king! I'm glad he's not just the cliche "rival for all eternity". He's funny and he was soooo cute when he was little! ^_^ Good luck with Orihime!

My favorite character is Ichigo's dad. Dude never fails to have me laughing my ass off everytime he's on screen. There's too many classic scenes with him to name. My next favorite would be Kenpachi. No explanation needed really, the guy is a bad ass, he's powerful, he's mentally unstable, and his relationship with Yuchiru is hilarious. But out of the ones listed on the poll, I vote for Ichigo. Why? He's the main character, he's funny in his own way, his sword is awesome and his attitude rules. But him acting so weird when he saw Yorichi naked wasnt cool. He loses cool points for that.

Oh wow, it's so friggin hard to decide. There are so many characters that make me laugh, who show traits that I possess or want, and who are just plain cool.

Aizen WAS my favourite captain up until a certain little incident... >_< (I would SO like to give him a piece of my mind if I were in the Gotei13...I think I'll write a fic about it, lol!) He reminded me so much of my dad - he respected everyone around him, was kind to a fault, made everyone around him feel comfortable and at ease, etc.

Shiba Kaien - dude was friggin cool. Too bad he's dead. >_< He had such an easy going attitude despite his position.

Hisagi Shuuhei- we don't know much about this guy. But he seems pretty cool.

Kusajishi Yachiru - she's so random, she makes me laugh. "Ken-chaaaaan~!"

Madarame Ikkaku - this guy is just plain hilarious. "Here I am doing the luc-luck dance..."

Abarai Renji - He knows his shit, and would do anything to protect the people he cares about.

Shinhouin Yoruichi - When I first read the manga, and saw her in the anime, I thought she was the coolest character in the show, and I still do, to a certain extent. She's extremly intelligent and knows what she's talking about. Not to mention funny as hell when's she's teasing Ichigo...

Ukitake Juushirou - If I was in the Gotei 13, I'd want him to be my captain, despite his weakness. Not to mention, he was one of the first to graduate from shinigami-high along with Kyoraku Shunsui (who btw, is pretty dern cool too). He was trained by ol' Yama - which means he definately knows his shit.

So I guess it's a tie between Ukitake, Kaien, and Yoruichi. Yeah, I'll go with that for now.

I don't know why, I always favor those chracters (besides, he's the same as Sesshomaru in Inuyash. Gotta love the "I'm cool, you're trash" attitude). Matsumoto - despite whar you might think, it's not her boobs. She has a very serious personality and is powerful. Her boobs come later (when I sneak up and peek on her undressing T_T). Afterwards it's Grimmjaw and Ulquarra. They are bothe uber strong, uber cool, and both have entirely opposite chracter.

Hitsugaya, i mean this guy is cool... and short. he's so young yet he's so powerful and he achieved CAPTAIN class.

Byakaya, i thought this guy was a jerk. but at episode 62 i completely changed my mind about this guy. u no wut happens, and i was completely wrong about him and he's cool. plus his sword is pink

Nope, nope. The boobs is not the reason. And yes, she does have a very childish behavior and a lack of intelligence. Most people see this, and it greatly annoys them. (That's why I never get into debates with the Anti-Orihimes, 'cause I see their point. That, and nothing I would say would probably get them to change their mind, anyway. ;) )

But there is something else that I see that's quite noteworthy, as well, and I think this trait of hers surpasses her other traits, or setbacks, depending on your point of view: Inoue Orihime has a good heart. She cares about her friends. She doesn't want to hurt anyone. She isn't arrogant, and very much a people person. She just wants to be happy, and have a good time.

So to answer your original question: I like Orihime.
