Orochimaru Vs Itachi [Anime]

I was wondering... Who is stronger? Orochimaru or Itachi?

Unquestionably Itachi. It's been stated in the series itself by Orochimaru that Itachi is both stronger than Orochimaru, but has also beaten him once before, if I recall correctly.

It's not a matter of speculation and such, but factually stated in the manga. I'm not sure about the anime, however, as I don't watch the Naruto anime.

Who knows how much stronger Itachi has gotten?

If you look at the Timeline, Itachi was in Akatsuki before the murdered his clan. Which means when he beat Orochimaru, he was still a young teenager and still had alot of development to do.

Itachi still had alot of development to do. orochimaru is a 50 year old man, without alot further to go, whort of aquiring new bodies with his transfer jutsu.

When Itachi beat Orochimaru, he didn't have the MS yet

Also, the fact that Orochimaru is seeking the Sharingan for himself to get above Itachi's power shows he has not reached that point yet. Though he is close....

With the general feel of the series as of late, that day may be fast approaching. Considering Kishimoto's overwhelmingly obvious "fanboy" obsession over his own damn character, I think it's easily in the realm of possibility that Sasuke is just going to keep getting more and more "uber" exponentially from here on out.

I seriously hope that should Sasuke and Itachi find themselves in an altercation again, Itachi kills Sasuke. Like seriously whoops his ass.

That, or Naruto -- with or without help, I don't care -- kills Itachi. Then, with Itachi dead, Sasuke's entire reason for existence is gone, so he falls into a super emo funk (not to be confused with his natural, normal regular emo funk), and kills himself. Man that would be sweet...

Those "sound elite" were just strong chuunin's pretty much. (Except Kimimaro, who was helluva-strong) If they were "elite" at all, they wouldn't have needed to go CS2 agaisnt 2 exhausted Konoha Jounin.

And the pill thing is silly, first, only Chouji's clan can use them. second it kills the user, thirdly, he still couldn;t beat someone like Jiraiya, Tsunade, Kakashi, Gai, or Yamato.

Im wondering why orochimaru didnt kidnap a uchiha boy or sth. Before the ''tragedy''( evil itachi kicked everyones butt ) . If he had Sharingan he would pawn everyone.. Itachi has the Mangekyou Sharingan. He can copy all of Oro's jutsu, and put him under, probably the best, genjutsu.
Need I remind you that Itachi got into ANBU at age 13. It's not bad that he's an exiled ninja. He left the village to join the strongest evil organization out there. Akatsuki. He has to be strong if he was accepted. But then again, Oro was in Akatsuki, but he left because of Itachi.

Orochimaru was only aroudn 40 when he fought Itachi IIRC. Plenty close to his prime. He had already fled the villiage for his 'experiments' so it's safe to assume he alteast knew the body swap jutsu. Though he may not have used it yet.

Orochimaru doesn't know *tons and tons* of jutsu's. He knows alot, but wants the sharingan so he can learn tons and tons. According to him, a ninja's power is based almost solely on how many techniques they can use. (Which makes Saidame pretty big in his view. The Professor knew every jutsu in konoha, without a sharingan)

But then again, the 3rd was also called the "God of Shinobi"...

But as we have seen in Naruto's case, you dont need a billion jutsu's to be strong. Deidara only knows how to do one thing to varing degrees, I hope noone would think him weak.

It's inevetable for Itachi to lose because Orochimaru cannot deflect the Mangekyou Sharingan effect.
