A Berkeley watchdog organization that tracks military spending said it uncovered a strange U.S. military proposal to create a hormone bomb that could purportedly turn enemy soldiers into homosexuals and make them more interested in sex than fighting.

Pentagon officials on Friday confirmed to CBS 5 that military leaders had considered, and then subsquently rejected, building the so-called "Gay Bomb."

Exactly what I was thinking. The effectiveness of such a bomb against such radical and die-hard-to-the-death rhetoric and states of mind would likely be low. I highly doubt that slight homosexual tendencies would even develop with such states of mind.

well early on in the article, it basically dubbed the "Gay bomb" to simply excite sexual hormones on enemy soldiers to have the urge to have sex. as expected though most likely there's going to be more men on the battlefield than women, and.....well....i'll just leave it at that.

But, as this only gives an urge to the soldiers to have sex, nothing implies it would be between two men, since there are women in the army too...
