Some of the manga readers might be able to answer this, but does Yamamoto kick some ass? he's the division 1 captain so i'm assuming he's really strong.. like a Mr Miagi on steroids or something lol I can just imagine him having to keep a couple of his Shinigami in line by showing of a little of his power now and again and saying stuff that is very profound and Confusious *spelling* like lol
As I understand it, he kicks some ass, but you supposedly don't get to see it in action. =/
(I think it might be a flashback or some equivalent) - Supposedly he's about to fight a battlefield of people, then the next time you see him...they're all gone and he's sat done cross legged just chillin' out.
I don't know how much validty is in this mind you.

he is very brutal, in the manga you will get to see him fight, the fight aint really been shown yet :P
I did think the way A2D told it to me, sounded a litle dubious. I'm glad it doesn't happen the way he (what I posted above) described it. I was hoping myself to see him kick some ass. =)

Note: You only get to see the beginning and end of the batle so his full power is still a mystery to manga viewers.

I always suspected yama had some amazing power. He looks like one of those ancient wizards.

Ahh, so I might have simply got what A2D told me slightly misinterpreted then, as he did say you don't get to see him really kick ass full out.
