I dont get the green squares, cuase i saw someone with 15 mod points with 5 squars, and another guy with 40 mod points with 3 squares! that dont make sense with me!

Brief Summary: -v

Your Rep power Bars http://forums.bleachportal.net/images/reputation/reputation_pos.gif will only build from accumulating reputation points.
(meaning through other members giving you positive rep)

Every month you've been a member, 1 point is added to your rep power.
Also every 100 posts you make earns you a point.

^neither will actually add to your reputation points / just your rep-power points

Example:

Someone could have been a registered member for 5 years & have a Rep-Power of 60 for every month he was a member.

He would still only have 1 bar if he has never been rep'd by another member.
(meaning 0 reputation points)

Get it?

there are 3 ways to earn rep-power, but only 1 way to build your bars

100 reputation points will give you a 2nd bar

The green bars shows that you have a positive reputation among members.

Which in most instances can be considered better than someone who has more rep power with less bars.

Oh, I think I get it. So more greenbars mean more people like you (because more people rep you), while having a high rep power could just mean you post like crazy.

Just remember not to abuse rep by giving it away for weak reasons.
