So, we have a LOT of new members since the last mini-contest, in which several members attempted to beat my high score on the Candy Tetris in the Arcade.

Now, I am offering EVERYONE the chance to try again. :headbang

My high score is 1087. Do you think you can beat it? :)

Prizes:

For beating my score (1087): 1500 pts from my personal stash + rep from me.

Making top 10 but not beating me score: 1000 pts from my personal stash

All who participate and make more than a 300 score: 500 pts from my personals stash.

Participating but not beating 300: 200 pts from my stash for the attempt.

Each person can only earn ONE prize. So multiple attempts do not make for more pts. It is your BEST SCORE that will win the prize. More than two people can earn a prize, so don't stop trying. If two people beat my score, they BOTH get the prize! :) <3

On your arrow keys, press up. At least, that's what I remember it being. ;) Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm a little tired so I don't know for sure.... hehe. Good luck! :)

Anyway, Toast-san... any tips or tricks ??? so we all can beat you... though it's one hundred % Impossible.... lol

Tricks to use? Hm.

Just get as many boxes as possible. Getting sets of 4 or 5 is possible, but doesn't do much more than add a point or two, there are NO bonuses on the game.

Don't give up. Keep trying, even if you don't get a good score the first time, there is always the second and third try. You will not be punished for the number of tries. As you can see (by viewing the High Scores) I've tried a million-zillion tries!

There is no pause, so play when you know you won't be interupted. It would suck if you were having a good game and something happened to make you leave it ...

Pay attention to your next piece. You'll be able to look ahead a bit and know if you'll get a set of three or not.

In addition to the points I promised I'd give already, each player will gain an additional amount of points equal to their highest score!

So the higher your score, the more points.

So, let's see...

Everyone who plays gets 200 automatically. Let's say you get a score of 206, you'll get a total of 406 points.

Now I promised to give each player points in ranking. Here are the points stats for that.

Highest - 1000
2nd - 800
3rd - 600
4th - 300
5th - 150
6th - 75
7th and below - 0

Just so you guys know, I'm taking this same game and Challenging the other Divisions to beat my score as well! I need help coming up with ideas for prizes.

Prospective ideas for Leixela's Challenge #1 (to the other divisions):

Feel free to double check my numbers. I insist that you do, actually. When dealing with a long list of names, it's easy to miss one. Just post if I have the wrong score for you. <3!

All those who participated will be getting a +rep from me. I would have liked to see more out of the Division. Seriously, this was basically free points. Anyone who participated was guaranteed to win something... plus this is considered activity in the Division.

Nomad-taichou and I look at these types of things when considering where members are in Division Seats and stuff. Not saying anything is changing, but keep in mind that being active in the Division will effect your placement in the Division.
