Whats the big diffie betwen episode 52 and 53?

To start with, I read lunar will stop subbing after episode 52... first it sounded like there were no more bleach at all after that... but then I read about new begining and endings in 53+... but I don't get why some would stop sub after 52 :S

So is there any differense? Will the subbing and bleach still come after 52 like normal and so on? Coz when I first read that, I was kinda scared, then when I hear that there is a lot more in the manga then it what would possible be covvered in the episodes to 52 (hopes there is no spoiler there, don't think it should be, heh) I got some relief... but I still wanna be 100% sure whats gonna happend :)

Lunar is pressed to sub all of the projects they currently have open. their decision to stop at 52 really has nothing to do with the rumors that "bleach will be 52 eps" which we know is a lie. of course i havent actually gone to read anything about lunar's decision to stop subbing, but being unable to complete the same number of projects with les people would make the most sense.

Basically after episode 52, that will be the end of the current "series" (Arc) if you will. There is more storyline after this Arc is completed.

I'm presuming too much in that I feel, knowing how much storyline is yet to come, I don't see them finishing the Arc in 2 episodes (even with next weeks extended episode), unless the end is a hideously cruel cliffhanger.

So this rumor thats come up is just simply coz Lunar has more project then they can handle and have to drop some? Though, I wouldn't have dropped bleach :P

I was close to make a spoiler comment now, but if what ive heard to happend is true, then it would be stupid to end in episode 52 at a 2nd though... coz if they would, a lot of future stuffs from the manga would be left out

exactly, i doubt that kubo would allow his story to be clubbed to death when being translated to animation. therefore there HAS to be much more to the anime than 52 eps. considering he is STILL writing the manga, 75 eps is starting to look too short. but im not making any predictions, im just going to watch as long as bleach is around.

As Darren has said, I haven't checked Lunar either in some time now due to their recent workload and consequent delay in releases, so I haven't had a chance to read through their information.

Though I would imagine that with everything they do sub, their recent problems with staff numbers and constantly playing catch-up, yes it could be possible that they will not be subbing the episodes following on from 52.

Though if this is the case, I imagine it will be a semi-temporary solution, though it may be their decision to leave the subbing to the various other fansubs who are quicker either due to staff numbers or just speed subbing in general.

This is all speculaton though.

Hmm, you think so Darren? I had thought around'ish the 75 mark myself, but I think pushing it as far as 100 will be a challenge for sure. Unless of course he intends to keep it indefinately ongoing with a constant series method, in which case I could actually imagine somewhere like 250 in 2 years time.

they are also looking for new people to help do subs. which means they may only drop bleach for a short time.

The fact they stop to sub at 52 Im about 95% sure, unless there was someone in their forum who managed to trick a lots of pepz its not true :P

And the more the merrier I think, as long it keeps the same quality, if they cannot keep the quality at some point in the future, I might even preffer it would stop by then... I think :) so you have a high thinking of the anime even into the end ^^

But Im glad to hear there is manga to get to about 100 episodes, and the fact there will be fillers here and there will probelby put it some more

i dont mind fillers if theyre oddly hilarious like 50... i mean yeah it was useless to the storyline but i would rather have a filler that is completely useless than one that pretends to be part of the story... that just pisses me off.

meanwhile, DB did a nice job with 50, though i dont think it was a very good episode to debut with, simply because it doesnt show how well they do with the ACTUAL story line.

I've always fancied it, but it would be a poponderous waste of time. The closest thing to Japense I know is a few greeting phrases taught to me by a "Cantoneese" friend back in high school.

Phonetically spelt of course as i was only ever taught the wording of it.

And yeah, reminds me of naruto, made it sound like story line, and then the things go failed and put it sound right, and that by a stupid lame fart... come on...

like i said earlier, DB has a good track record. 50 wasnt a very good episode to show how well they can sub, but it still proves that they are quite competent. im probably going to follow their sub if lunar stops... if lunar happens to start back up later, i might move back to lunar, depending on how good/bad a job DB does with their subbing.

Edit: just watched DBs version of bleach, i found that they r slightly better (no offence bleach society)

They just cant come close to complete the arc by episode 52 - but an hour long episode, followed by a week of no bleach, and then moving into a popular time slot just demands an awesome cliffhanger.. they'd be crazy not to
