I was just going through The Lounge for my normal routine, and I just saw some threads that have been going on for long enough ie. "Do you believe in Ghosts?".

I came up with a conclusion that people just post and don't bother to read the last postS, if they have I think they wouldn't have to post something that's already been argued on.:sad

It is always best to post in an existing thread, rather than create a new one when there is one with the same subject, thats why some threads go on. Some people just wanna post to get there opinion across (it's a good way to learn more about said forum member).

Indeed, And some of the larger threads have about 100 plus pages..I know for a fact that in the 9th div we have one thats up to about 2000 pages..So you know if you want to go all the way back through it it's up to you.

However you can usually get whats going on in the thread by the last 5-6 posts and the 1st 1-4 posts.

Then if you find something interesting you follow it and learn more about it in the thread.

lol? Are you just figuring this out now? Slow much? People do that shit all the time in the Debate/Anime Arena thread. Its irritating... going through a long debate about something, win, then have a newb come in and just post something stupid.

Take the Hulk vs Grimmjaw thread for example. It was debated on for I don't know how many pages... The conclusion was that Grimmy gets raped... hard. Then a stupid newb comes along and posts, "zomg grimjaw is da bes he winz ezi!!!!!111oneonetwo"

And you newbs wonder why you're hated? Psh. :whatevah:

I don't mind at all the size of a thread. Well maybe some, because some of the replies don't even make any since!

Some threads are overdone. I do wish people would read the posts. I notice that people argue a point that has already been proven false over and over again in debates and heated discussions.

Some threads seem like uber-profile type threads that go on forever. No real conversations are even possible when the people don't read them.

Yeah. Some threads go too far.

Just a note: I don't think that random threads should be considered "too far" ... they don't count towards posts and are meant to carry on forever. ... like the Throw Something thread.
