dont get me wrong, i like the water shot but i think he needs an actual camera or something instead of his cell phone

I think the pics are ok due to the fact that he is taking them with his cellphone.
I like the one of the water and the one with the clouds..

So based on those I say in.
But I wouldn't mind seeing other pics as well..

I vote no.

For three reasons:

1.) 1st picture is absolutely HORRIBLE and I don't give a damn what he used to take it. You can't enter photography club with pictures like that!

2.) Not enough variety. I can do 5 random snaps of the beach and be classed as photographer.

3.) He is speaking of proofs that photos are not ripped, and i have a strong feeling he is hiding something because of that, in other words, he is explaining himself without anyone ever doubting his photos.

Might be too harsh, but it's what i think. ^_^

Your opinions are yours, as are everyone elses. one thing i would like to add, most of my pics are from a mobile phone camera, but lets not start anything here.

Okay, I'm home now and actually trying to look at these. I just needed an extra 24 hrs. :D

1.) 1st picture is absolutely HORRIBLE and I don't give a damn what he used to take it. You can't enter photography club with pictures like that!
It's too bad the first one is out of focus and has motion blur, because it's not bad compositionally. The subject is small, but the photo overall is off-balance in a good way.

The island shots are nothing special save for the cool clouds. I like the last shot but mostly for the clouds once again. Why leave such ugly buildings in the frame if you don't have a reason to?

2.) Not enough variety. I can do 5 random snaps of the beach and be classed as photographer.
More variety would be nice.

As for the "ripping" coment, he probably has seen the \/iazard thread in the rippers court (ironically, I don't think \/iazard himself has since he has yet to defend himself), and it has quite a few SS members posting in it. Maybe he has some notion we're a suspicious bunch.

I guess I want to see more pic (4 at least) of something entirely different.
Otherwise, I'll probably say no.

diamond: not all of us have cameras. this is the reality. i only have a digital camera at the moment - but i don't have the expensive ones. if the person has the simple camera on his/her cell phone and take good shots, then it's fine - since some of us can't afford to buy one. if i look the outcome myself, sometimes i don't notice that he/she took it from her/his cellphone - unless he/she tells me (depending on the quality).
