Espada Treasury, to keep record of the teams finances post contest #47. If it's okay with everyone else I'll record income and expenditure here.

Points are for the development of the division and its members. If anyone needs vbux for something reasonable request it here. I'll list any donations, reasons etc., also this thread can be used to suggest any Espada purchases. As a member of the Espada you are entitled to vbux (vbaries on reward) for participating in each contest - the distribution of treasury interests to the team. Wage packets are variable and dependent on finances, details of which will be listed.

5th August: 90,000 vbux returned from Prodigy re. contest #50
20th August: 64,475 donated by Ali on leaving the Espadas
30th September: 515,381 added from interest and contests

15th July: 100,000 vbux donated to Prodigy to lead contest #50
16th July: 333,694 vbux distributed in salary
2nd August: 15,000 donated to Neve for contest #51 hint
14th August: 80,000 distributed to contest #51 contributors
17th August: 5,000 spent on team birthday gift to Nicole
30th September: 25,000 vbux spent on Club Espada banner (Neve)

Okay, Neve sent 500 for contest #43 too. I'll update the first post!

EDIT: With the current balance we're due 50,000 vbux each time interest credited. I could implement a distribution of interest points between all members once a week/month or something? Then in future, each time a contest is won we add that to the treasury, and distribute increased interest awarded to members. Kind of an isa/retirement scheme, does anyone agree/disagree?

Okay.

- Salary will be variable, dependent on team finances. The sum total of vbux interest since the last update of income (usually after contests) will be split 12 ways (or more with future members) and distibuted evenly.
- Salary will be sent out on the 15th and the 30th of each month, with June 30th 2007 being the first day.
- If you do not require a salary, due to being rich/infinite staff funds or w/e, please state in this thread. Your wage will not be distributed to other members, but put back into the treasury to increase team wealth. Example: Interest is 60k, which would be 5k per member. Three members do not require a wage, so 15k is added to the treasury whilst 45k is distributed between the nine other members.

Any questions/comments? :) This coming Saturday will be payday.

Noo - being mod doesn't get you any points (although it should) =/. I got mine by selling gfx stuff and abusing the fact that Sandal pays ridiculous amounts of points to people who make avatars for him :D

True because a lot of mods aren't on the richest user's list. I know Pipp at least had a fuckload of points because DB gave her over a million randomly as a salary for being a good mod for a long time....I think. And it says I haven't been given a lot, so I have NO idea XD My points just sit there. I'm too lazy to buy gifts for people.

I know some of us don't use points that often but I may have to scrap the salary idea, or force wages all non smods/admins. With a sub 50% uptake the system falls apart somewhat. :(

I thought we were all immune to the "thief" option since Z's pre-Vaizard attack planning? Also, splitting the money up now/every comp means accumulated interest is far less. By giving out all interest as wages we'll never reach the top few spots on the rich list and become thieving targets anyway, despite getting richer? Was just my thinking.

Neve, and myself are probably the only exclusions to salary thing given that he's got TONS of points and I'm an admin =p. The rest will receive regular payments that will be determined by Static or anyone else willing to do the calculations and what not for us =p.

Once the points are sent to your account, you are free to do whatever you want to do with it. I suggest saving up for the upcoming clash with the Gotei though =p.

I was under the assumption that there was a floating variable interest rate, not compound (judging by the rich/poor divide), my mistake. Either way, everyone except myself (too hard to keep track of own finances merged with treasury), Neve and Z will now be paid. Shino cry me a river :face82:

I doubt we're immune from contest stealing, but that just gives even more reason for splitting our points up by paying salaries - right? Since the richest divisions will get stolen from, and meanwhile we'll look really poor because our points are split over about ten people, but all the time we'll slowly be accumulating wealth and when we put it together, we'll pwn everyone :D.

I did say in the first post that points would be divided in such a contest situation. I wouldn't have thought there would be so much disagreement over a situation where everyone benefits, I just thought the idea was a better way of tracking our wins and progress/something original that no other division does. Guess I'll split it up if there's so much contraversy.

- We made 110,388 vbux in interest since the program began
From this...
- 82,791 vbux was distributed between 9 members (9,199 each)
- From 3 member yields, 27,597 vbux was added to the treasury

You post as much of the rest of us here and contribute to contests so why didn't you just change to a numbered position? *scratches head. @ Sha - I presume interest is too low to make wages worth distributing anymore unless a contest has recently been won. I've no idea how many points the espadas have overall, but assuming that it's around a million, we're only going to be getting about a thousand points every two days which, considering the prices, is hardly worth distributing amongst ten or so people.
