It has been confirmed that Chris Benoit did indeed murder his wife and disabled son and then hung himself.

I could not believe this when I first heard this, but I checked out the net and in an article of a newspaper it said just this, there is nothing about this on the WWE website mainly because they don't want bad publicity on the company, but because of this WWE Raw was cancelled.

Yeah it's a shame really, he was such a great athlete. Too bad it was most likely from steroid abuse. He will be missed though. R.I.P Chris Benoit.

Well, I knew that he more than likely did the killings. But I want to know the motive =/. Roid rage just doesn't cut it for me

I guess WWE are hiding the true motive as it may give them bad publicity or something like that, but I too don't think that it was just a sudden burst of roid rage either, I mean he had been abusing for a long time so maybe his wife was going to leave him and from that he just snapped, who knows???

...It's the addiction to steroid that finally ended his life. But I'm shocked by the way he "killed' his son...police suspect that he did his crossface crippler on his son by the bruise and so on!

the addiction to steroids... So his roid rage lasted over a period of an entire weekend?

It's been proven; he had steroids and OTHER drugs in his system.

Wow... I just couldn't see a reason why he'd fallen into that. He was doing great. =/
My regards to the family.
