AFL; an abbreviation for Australian Football League which is also known as Aussie Rules is the third roughest sport in the world after one being Extreme Sports and Two being Motor Sports.

Essendon vs. Geelong this Friday.

I think it's obvious that Geelong is gonna win.
But I hope the bombers do.

They're my second favorite team.

geelong have it in the bag!! they have unmatched form (except by maybe the hawkies) but essendon are a dark horse so you never know what could happen :P

my tips for this week:

Geelong vs. Essendon--------------Geelong (24pts)

Pies Vs Saints-----------------------Pies (16pts)

Doggies vs. power------------------doggies(5-10pts) close game, im tippin doggies coz even though they r lower on the ladder i think they perform well under pressure

Eagles vs. Lions-----------------------Eagles(20-40pts) lets face the lions havent had much form and westcoke eaglle Ben cousins will make his return :P

Crows vs. Hawkies--------------------Hawkies(20pts) theyll put up a fight but i cant see the crows pulling through.

Sydney vs. Freo--------------Freo (nuff said)

Carlton vs. Melb-------------- Melb(10-15pts) theyre back on the up and the blues have a habit of ****in up lol

tigers vs. kangas----------------Kangas (30pts) margin may be off but the kangas are coming off a good win and lotsa experience against a bottom of the pack team.

maybe we can organise a tipping comp week by week where we bet points and win the pot on highest number of correct answers??

Don't worry. A friend and I have already started planning for that. We've submitted the plans to an Admin.

We've gotten a reply, so now we're waiting for an approval.
It should come by next week.

It's a footy betting system. Hopefully it'll work out, and you guys can use it for betting.

I won't say all of it, but it should work out. We'll be able to get the betting for the next round, if we can get it down as we plan.

Since you guys are my brethren, I'll give you some info about it.
I've partnered with this guy, my CB 'business' partner.

We're interested in doing multiple ventures for various reasons you don't have to know about.

Currently the idea is going through C46, so hopefully we'll get a 'yes' and we can start a small footy tipping program going for ALL of CB.

If we get approved, we'll be working to get it up and running. And we hopefully we'll be able to get it going by the start of the next round.

I hope you guys will like it.
The betting system isn't like regular betting systems. It's a lot more simple, and hence easier for us to control.

Thanks. I've started to work with an another member of CB.

Hopefully C46 let's us go with it. We originally sent the plans to Ai, and he thought it was a pretty good idea.

So, we're waiting to see what the other Admins and mods think of this.

And, if we get popular, we may move to other sport events.
ICC world cup, FIFA, Wimbledon.

Also, right now, the guy I'm working with, we're currently working on an another project.

It's not really footy related, but you'll love it if like RPGs and strategy-type games.

well, make that 5 now. being new here i kinda didnt expect to find a thread about the worlds third best sport (top two being rowing and motoGP) but there you have it. the rounds of coach sackings this week have been kind of offputting though, it's getting kind of ridiculous when a team in the middle of the tables starts shopping for new coaches because the team isnt at the top of the tables.

and just as an aside, i'm a sydney man myself, so naturally i support the swans. and i loathe collingwood. nothing wrong with the team, but i just want eddie jones dead.
