in my early years i wass on school always Bullying some one in my class, but later on i found out that it is a real bad thing to do.
bequise in my school some one that wass bin bullyd for years comit suicide, bequise he wass bullyd for years, so know i do avry thing to stop it.
but how do u think about it and how do u feel if u see some one Bullying some one.

Bullying is pretty horrible, especially if it's like 10+ people picking on one person. It can escalate into worse things, so yeah, I have a pretty negative opinion on it, since I was the person getting bullied all the time in elementary school. It hurts. :)

Of course if I see someone else getting bullied I'm going to stop it. But since I'm an adult, and I hang around adults, I don't see that much bullying anymore.

I would stop it if I could, unfortunately where I live bullying usually takes place in groups and its really tough for someone else to put themselves on the line for the victim, but when I can I do.

Bullying is impossible to root out completely, I think, but that's no reason to tolerate it.

When I was bullied, on the 3rd and 4th grade, I made a promise to myself to never do the same to other people. Being the serious kid that I was, I held to my promise. During junior high, I also tried to befriend people being bullied. I was somewhat shy, so it was hard for me to actually try and confront the bullies, though.

Also, I think there are many reasons for bullying and many kinds of bullies. Some are ignorant, some have problems in their own lives and some, of course, can just be cruel. I don't hate the bullies, but what irks me is to hear someone tell how they used to be bullies, describe all the horrible things they did and then act like it doesn't matter at all since it's all in the past. Of course, children are children and nobody should spend eternity regretting their past mistakes, but I would like all ex-bullies to admit that their actions might have had effects.

There was a time when the guy sitting next to me kept getting bullied by all the boys in class...and it was all because of something so trivial, like his name. And unfortunately he had a mental disorder of some sort, so he got into rages very easily when provoked. The boys were so immature that, despite knowing he had that sort of illness, they continued bullying him relentlessly, regardless of the fact that teachers had stepped in before. And when I told them to leave him alone, they ignored me and teased me instead, saying I had a 'thing' for the bully victim. -.-

theres been bullies in my school, heres how i deal with them, when they are useing that sarcastic smile at you dont smile back look them straight in the eye, if they say something dont try so hard to get a come back make sure your head is clear do as much as you can to make them confused because in reality their stupid, if they threaten to use physical force dont back away, remember to keep eye contact all ALL time and i mean at all time, keep one thing in your mind dont TAKE SHIT ever, and never agree to anything they say

This is the reason things like the V-Tech and Columbine incident. Now, don't get me wrong here. Tragedy isn't a strong enough word to describe what happened in those situations, but if you read these people's bios and hear stories about them, you see that those disaster could have been prevented entirely if people would have just let them be. When you mess with someone's mind enough, drastic things happen.

Bullies have their own growing up issues. Sometimes its an unconscious frustration that manifests itself by lashing out on others.

Bullies need love, understanding, and most of all psychiatric help. ;)

I've been bullied for a year ... I was new in a school, shy, was afraid not to be liked, no self confidence, always trying to help others, ... actually I was an easy target so I got bullied a lot and my self esteem was really low at that time ... Then suddenly my parents told me to stood up for myself and so on (because they thought I had a depression =/) and after a while I became less shy, stoop up for myself and the bullying ended slowly (it took 2 years before the bullying fully ended ... =/).
This is the reason why I really hate people who bully and think they are pathetic because I can't see the fun of making someone else's life miserable ...

I don't believe that bullies deserve to die. Most of the time...bullies are little kids or teenagers looking for ways to vent out their frustrations of whatever's going on in their life, onto other people. And yes, sometimes bullying leads to the victims trying to kill themselves. However, that doesn't constitute for the bullies to die. Like I said bullies are mainly little kids or teenagers...they don't know better. I'd rather suggest that they get help from a counselor or a psychiatrist. If that's not enough for you chih...why not just send the kids to juvenile prison? Instead of killing the bullies.

@chih: Not that I like bullies or anything, but they definitely do not deserve to die. They make the mistake of picking on people, but they can learn from their mistake. They may have problems at home or something, which is why they turn out like that.

I was bullied by 2 different pairs of boys when I was like 7, and one of those 4 guys who bullied me back then got bullied himself when we were 12. Sweet revenge...I wasn't the one who bullied him though. But sometimes they do need a taste of their own medicine to learn.

Bullies have reasons for well, being bullies. It can be as shaberry says, attention. But most of the time, it's cause something in the person's past or thier childhood, most definitely, effect them to grow up in the manner that they did and pass on thier pain to others. And since that was the only way they've been exposed to [through pain], the was probably the only way they knew how to express themselves when with others. Eventually, there will always be someone bigger and more powerful to knock [figure of speech, people] the sense into those bullies.

Well ill tell you. I was bullied all my life so far, not physically, but verbally, I was degraded, ignored, neglected, left out. It was so bad even the teacher forgot to call my name in roll call once. I never had a friend until last year. People laughed when I cried, got satisfaction when I was out of school with depression. My life is ****ed up now cause of all the abuse I got. The only real friend I had was my mother. Bullying is just stupid and ignorant. The people who bully are pathetic and have crappy lives so they resort to making others lives worse so they can feel better. Ghandi was a fool. He was right to an extent, pure revenge won't really achieve much if you use bruteforce and walk away. You have to take away you enemy's weapon and advantages. When I was in school I was a mid-tier bully! I wasn't picked on much, I mean who wasn't made fun of in school? The ones who don't think they did, got it even worse behind their backs. Anyways, I was never picked on and I never messed with anyone too much but I gotta say bully'ing is a necessary part of growing up. Sometimes kids can take it too far but in general I think bully'ing teaches kids lessons you can't learn from things like home schooling and the likes. Learning to stand up for yourself, beinf self reliant, finding out who your real friends are... the worlds not perfect and the sooner people understand that the less stressed they'd be.

I consider bully'ing to be verbal warfare as well though. Sometimes in fact what kids say is far more destructive than what they can physically do. Perhaps saying that Ghandi was foolish as he said the quote would have been a better way to say it. I do know Ghandi did, however, I can't say if he's a good person or not, I know he's the hero of India and everything, but his wife might complain that he's a slouch, never makes dinner, or never picks up his underwear etc.



Anyway, Ghandi wasn't pushed around by fat kids with an attitude and no lunch money. He was pushed around by demons in red uniforms, he made a book that he got a lawsuit for, and eventually ended up going to prison, then out again I believe.

To me, bullying is a horrible experience. I've been bullied during my primary school years and believe me, it is painful. Somebody says derogatory comments in front of you and you feel emotionally hurt. Or somebody psychically hurts you and you endure the harsh pain.

When I was in primary, fights were based on what you do and what you looked like.
Say your a 'Nerd' or Labled as a 'Geek' , you'll be the first one to be picked on.
I was kinda a tomboy, who'm liked to be with the "NON" popular, boys and i was picked on because of that. But now it's the complete opposite in HighSchool am popular, etc but I see less bullying in HighSchool. Just people who are sick in the head, who like hurting people should get what they deserve :)

Right now Im in HS there is still bullying well im the one being bullied of course. Its hard for me Because in my primary years Im still being bullied. I have been enduring insults physical assault for years....... Im trying to be nice and all I got was bullied..... In my class before I graduated there was this guy who is you know special. The popular kids and some non popular kids bully him. I try to be his friend and I really understand his state. Even at my home my auntie bullies me. She has no respect for my time when im using the Tv. She shouts at me even if it was her fault. She played tons of tricks and done bad things to me when I was still young. Today after all that I try at least at my best to be happy........
