Keep reading the series if you haven't :) you shouldn't be disappointed. I can't remember how many books there are though, been thinking of going through this again.

One disappointment was that I just can't picture a group of ... 6 - 13 year old kids acting like adults... sigh

Keep up with the series. Right now there are 4 Books about Ender. and 4 more about Bean's story (If you remember him from "Ender's Game")

There's actually 2 more books in the works, One that links the end of the 4 bean books, abck to the ender ones. And the other is to link between the first 2 ender books.

Overall, an incredible series. I have read 3 of the Ender books, and the first Bean one. check it out of you can. atleast read "Ender's Game" and it's sequal "Speaker for the Dead" as they are both great.

Enders Game, Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, and Children of the Mind are the Ender books.

Ender's Shadow, Shadow of the Hegemon, Shadow Puppets, and Shadow of the Giant are the Bean books.

Only read half of them so far. gonna finish once I am up to date in the Wheel fo Time series.

Ender's Game was a great book when I read it for Science Fiction a couple of years back. I think I was the only person who didn't foresee the ending.

That being said, I am most likely never gonna touch the remaining novels, primarily because I heard they were less good and because I do not like reading science fiction in general. Unless Harry Potter is in it.

The second book is very good to, though it is also very different. Though if you arn't into science fiction stuff, i would jsut stay at those two books.

It's actually about humans finding anouther alien race and how they deal with it, and Ender's search for a new planet for the Queen. Pretty good stuff.

It actually takes place 3,000 years after the first book, many people have taken Ender's book "Speaker for the Dead" as gospel, and it has created a new relgion of sorts. And the "original" Speaker, "Andrew" is seen as a saint. While "Ender Wiggan" Is known as "The Xenocide" and a horrible person who destoryed an entire race.

The coolest thing, is Ender's Game won both the Nebula award, and the Hugo award (The two biggest Sci-Fi book awards) and it's sequal "Speaker for the Dead" also won both awards the following year.

Orson Scott Card is the only auther to have won both these awards in consecutive years.
