Shikai Renji VS Rukia

I always liked the friends fighting friends theme so this match sounds cool. Who do you think would win? The beauty or the beast? Ready? FIGHT!

Personally I think, as cool as it was against Zangestsu, Zabimaru really isn't that impressive. As nice as the whipping ability is it can't really compete with Rukia's Shakai form's dances. If Rukia could dodge long enough to use a binding spell then hit him with her first dance she would win easily but as boring as it is Zabimaru could keep her occupied and out side of range for her first dance but that's what the second dance is for. If she could hit him with it after Zabimaru's 3 hits then she could go for the kill. Rukia's just more versitile so... I say Rukia.

I'd say Rukia. Zabimaru's shikai form is outclassed by Rukia's zanpakutou. Also, Rukia has at least the strength of an average vice captain.

Renji and Rukia no doubt know each other's abilities, so Renji should have no problem avoiding her dances(except the third one...), but I highly doubt Rukia knows about the 3 hit lag Renji has. Since Renji is both Physically stronger, faster and can be a ranged fighter, I'm going have to say Renji.

Shikai Renji? Well, tbh, I think Renji's shikai sucks, unlike Rukia's, which if used correctly, can be pretty awesome. However, Renji is physically stronger and faster (most likely faster, at least) than Rukia. His endurance is that of Hitsugaya's or maybe even stronger.

I don't know, I'm going to say a draw for now.

Renji is a VC with bankai, and he's fast enough in reaction time to keep up with Byakuya's speed. If he can react fast enough to Byakuya's speed, he is obviously very fast.

Rukia hasn't shown us to be able to keep up with Byakuya. So...

And I don't see how Renji's shikai sucks. That shit shredded buildings{not sky scrapers) apart and Renji obviously has the speed to make up for his weakness, which is being blocked and pwned away.

Ichigo only got him cause he's the main character.

I don't see how that works. Renji's attack has a delay where he has to withdraw Zabimaru after 3 hits. That would be an opening for Rukia to attack, provided Rukia can see the opening.

Renji is able to keep up with Byakuya's attack so I'll say Renji. We haven't seen much of how fast Rukia can be yet.

But that moment would only be an opening to someone fast enough, as we saw when he fought Ichigo. I don't think Rukia could exploit that opening, it's too short.
It's not enough time to cast any powerful Kido any Rukia is too slow to use her zanpakuto against him in that time either.

Rukia doesn't have Bankai yet, also, not all Shinigami are actually capable of attaining Bankai.

Rukia would win. Her shikai is more impressive. He may have "fast reactions", but he has never shown able to actually keep up with someone as fast as Byakuya. He's never even shown being able to shunpo himself, so it doesn't really bring him an advantage. Since Rukia has a better shikai and better kidou, she would win.

Renji is fast enough to react well in time for someone as fast as Byakuya. Rukia and her attacks are not shown to be as fast as Byakuya. Therefore Renji has circumstantial evidence that points to the fact he has a speed advantage.

And Rukia cannot Shunpo either (or at least wasn't shown to), which means her speed is far less than Byakuya.

Renji would win,by the end of Bleach he will be stronger than Byakuya so Renji wins.Besides he has the most badass bankai in Bleach.Shikai wuld be enough to beat Rukia.

Renji's reiatsu is just THAT much higher than Rukia for this to be a no-contest. Kidou? The contest would probably be over before Rukia is able to finish the kidou spell. Throughout Bleach, I've NEVER seen Rukia doing anything which makes her look strong. Renji is obviously in another league altogether.
