I play it on media player classic and it should work (it must) with k-lite codek pak and on vlc player. My kenshin files are also ogm and it means that the there is sub and dub in the file. If your not an idiot you wanna hear it in japanese and turn of the subtitles cuz otherwize you'll get dubbel subbed. It's a great format just a little bigger though

OGM files are the most amazing files i have come across, windows media player classic does support them and it also supports mkv files as well.

OGM files can come with duel sound and subtitles, they are fantastic, i just downlaoded the full outlaw star anime series with OGM files, was 6 gig mind you, but the quality is immense :)

you need the codec for it, or dl vlc player, it had all codecs in one.

i would stay away from codec packs...they are not worth the trouble of using. Just install those you need. I use BSPLAYER to view all my avi, mpeg, ogm, etc..never had a prob seeing anything.

for .ogm files, I use VLC player
Make sure to turn on subtitles in VLC if you want it.

will VLC play the file if it has the .ogm.sfv part to it?

Sure you can, .SFV is not a video/audio file, it just contains versions as to which file it is. Common use for .SFV includes uploading DVD files n scuh.
You can cut the .sfv it would still play, but you dont really need to do anything here.

Download This Codec -http://tobias.everwicked.com/oggds.htm

.SFV is to check the video file if the file is stable and is not missing any pieces or corrupted

Hopefully you are playing a .ogm file not .omg.sfv and the file is actually a complete file. Try Media Player Classic, BSPlayer, Winamp, WMP

How about download a SFV Checker, Check to see the file is intact. If it is... then I give up :(

I didn't want to make a new topic on this, so I'll use this one. (I'm not in a rush to know.)

Can you burn .ogm files onto a VCD? None of my VCDs that we buy have options to turn subtitles on/off, just changing the audio left or right, so I was wondering if it will work, and how.

I'm thinking about downloading the .ogm files for Full Metal Panic, but since I keep (most of) my anime on a CD collection, I'm just not so sure how to go about it.

Thanks in advance. :D

you have to change the format of .ogm files. if ur dvd player supports DIVX, u can just burn it off on a disc.

How do I do that? Well, I just need to know the programs to use and simple guideline steps. Thanks.
