Heres a list of MLB players that are still currently playing.
(age)

Derek Jeter (33)- .317 Lifetime BA, 2272 Hits, All time Playoff Hits Leader, 3 time AL Gold Glove, 4 Time world Series winner, World Series MVP.

Alex Rodriguez (31)- .310 Lifetime BA, 495 Homeruns, 2171 Hits, 2 time AL Gold Glove, 2 time AL MVP.

Ken Griffey Jr (37)- 586 Homeruns, 2496 Hits, AL MVP, 10 Time AL Gold Glove.

Barry Bonds (42)- 751 Homeruns, 2902 Hits, 514 Stolen Bases, 7 time NL Gold Glove, 7 time NL MVP.

If they all retired tomorrow, would you consider them Hall of Famers.
If not, would you consider them future Hall of Famers if thet kept playing.

Hmm most likely all well get in... However Griffey Jr. is probably the only lock for First ballot (Just imagine if he never got hurt for a stretch), even though bonds is gonna break the record... (gee i wonder why). Jeter needs in my opinion 2500 hits to be a first ballot, and A-Rod... could be first ballot, but you never know =/.

p.s.
Where's Vizquel? One of the greatest defensive shortstops to play the game (11 gold-gloves, 9 consecutive...) and has 2500 hits, oh well :rolleye09

Bonds: First Ballot even before the cream.
Jeter: First Ballot.
Rodriguez: First Ballot if he keeps playing the way he has been, but if he retired today, probably not.
Ken Griffey Jr.: First Ballot, if he hadn't been injured all those years he could have been the best ever.
