I got myself a nice new 20GB White iPod... white cause thats the only colour it comes in, but being the evil white hating person I am... I bought a nice blue case for it for $65 AUD :D Came with a White Case "WTF IS THE POINT" and a Pink case, which I gave as a christmas preasant :D

Anyway... besides my first iPod breaking and getting a new one for Free from the nice ppl at Apple, my ipod is great. I'm using only about 5GB at the moment, but my Hard Drive is full so I may dump some anime onto it :P

Ipods are nice, but with the new Media Players comming out I would say go with one of those. They are about the same price (maybe $100 more) and you can watch your anime anywhere along with listen to music. IMO the video ablilty justifies the extra money, but they will come down in price very quickly.

my dad's Creative mpg player has a harddrive and it goes to 60GB....

The other media players you say are just $100 more... thats probably $100 USD which is almost $200 AUD, which means they cost like $700, I dunno about you but my aprents had a hard enough time seeing why to buy me something for $500, So that $100 is a big difference, I like my iPod its very easy to use, unlike my friends cheapy $100 AUD MP3 player he got recently, its so small he can barley press the buttons :/

iPod is nice and organised and easy to use, plus it has tons of storage space, who cares if you can't play games and watch aniem in the car... don't you guys play enough games and watch anime in the car? How about talking to other occupants in the car? Or listening to music (Not considered totally geeky) then you can converse with real life people about how cool a song is, not how awsome this new UBER H4><0R Powerup you got at level 10000. :P

Looks cool. I went to an Apple store a while ago, and they had so many iPods, none like you typically see at bestbuy.
