Contest #52 - Comix


I'm assuming everyone is familiar with Mool's HHCB Comics? (click here (http://forums.bleachportal.net/showthread.php?t=14774) if you're not)

For this contest, each division will be showing off their creativity & humor by making a comic of their own :)

The theme of your comic has to relate to Club Bleach, our community, in some way. Be creative & make it funny (we will mostly be grading on that). The maximum width of your comic cannot exceed 500px (MooL's new comix are at a standard width of 350w). The height can be whatever you need (make it reasonable). Please submit your entry via Contest Submission (http://forums.bleachportal.net/forumdisplay.php?f=286).


Tools Allowed:
- MS Paint / Photoshop

Definitely NOT allowed:
You are NOT allowed to use other people's work. This includes using other existing comics and replacing the dialogue/text. You don't have to draw everything (I don't mind if you cut stuff or use sprites and all that), but it's suppose to be unique and creative. Remember that!

Basically, you can't go wrong unless you plagiarize or go off topic (It's supposed to be about CLUB BLEACH). Remember the "CB" in HHCB ([Happy] HAPPY Club Bleach comix) is CLUB BLEACH. XD

Uh. You can use any illustrator program, I guess. But honestly, I only use PS for the paintbrush and eraser. So don't go too fancy. We won't reward you on artistic skill alone.

@ someone else's question: You don't have to color them in if you don't want to. That is totally up to your division. Same goes with any animation. Since I don't do animation, it's to your discretion.

For those who are still somewhat confused... it's like this...

This contest will be judged by C46, meaning that unless we individually choose to participate, each member will be judging it.

There is no set grading criteria, and judging will be on our individual judgements.

If you'd like to make yours flashy, pretty, or animated, or whatever it is. Just take note that we will most likely grade mainly on the substance of your comix, and there's a good chance that making it pretty won't help much.

In other words, focus on the actual "stuff" :winking56

It was said before; both styles are accepted, and it's rated mainly of it's funny-es.
I guess, if you have a good scanner, it shouldn't be a problem :3!

shin and MooL, who happens to be in Central 46, therefore their posts are very important and should never be overlooked, pretty much said C/VC doesn't have to be the one to submit the entry, and MooL later said first entry submitted to them by any member will be the "entry".

its not the fact that they had the entry done 3 days ago, they could have had it done the first day the contest was made, the point is that it was submitted past the deadline and still accepted

i realize that none of the admins will probably do anything about this, but for reference in future contests, you should confirm with your team whos submitting, that the answers have been submitted, and on time.
