sorry if this post has already been done, but i cant see one, so ill post here
How do you take a sound recording from a video file? Yeah i know you could put some recording equipment up to the speakers, but i want to do it with decent quality, any suggestions?

um.. i did it once, by using a sound ripper. but its trial i only had 30 sec of material ><

go into windows sound options, set recording device to .wav, you can then use windows sound recorder of which comes installed on your system to record the sounds from the videoclip

It can extract sounds, cut videos, etc.

got onboard5.1 sound, the videodub should work though, ta very much :)
