Wow, surprised there ain't a topic on this game.
:Domo Anyways, got the game not too long ago, beat it, and fell in love with it!
While not exactly my favorite Megaten title (Nocturne = win), this one surprisingly surprised me. As much as its made out to be, Tartarus wasn't as tedious and repetitive for some reason, and the Sim part of the game was fun in itself. (Dating Mitsuru was an...interesting experience lol) Also, among Megaten games, this one for me anyways, had an interestingly large amount of tragedies and drama in it, and voice acting was WAY better than I had expected.
Anyways, like every other topic in here, its a discussion thread on a kickass game, so lets DISCUSS!!

Like any Megaten game, it shouldn't disappoint. Others, however, WERE bogged down simply because the game is completely different from the rest of them,.

The only Megaten games I've played are Nocturne, DDS2, and Persona 3 (close to the end, Nov 17), and I own Persona 2, but haven't played through it yet. And I gotta say...I like Persona 3 the best, due to voice acting that rivals the Tales series, likable characters, and the dating sim part is awesome. Best scene? When Yukari invites you to her room and RANDOMLY mutters while blushing: "...if I accidentally scream someone might hear me."
I was like, half "WTF?!?!" and half "HELLZ YEAH!".

i dont know much about it but my bro plays it on his ps2 with HDLOADER OF COURSE! i love that thing, but why do they shoot themselves? to bring some thing out if you ask me the game has no story.

Theyre called Evokers, theyre not actually guns, but when they shoot themselves with it it awakens their Persona so they can use it in battle. Also, it DOES have a story, and every week the story becomes either more clear or more unclear. Like as to why Tartarus and shadows exist, why they even have personas and the other people who are working against them to keep Tartarus alive.

If it didn't say that we were alright with censorship in the game, I'd sign it.
I disagree with censorship. Market it M for mature and just card kids. Honestly. With a little bit of responsibility, none of these censorship shenanigans would even exist.

You DO know that in Fes, there is a Persona that is a big green, umm, "politician" on wheels...
Personally, I sure as hell don't wanna shoot my self in the head to summon a gargantuan fire hose...

Months of trying to keep FES a secret are now behind us (which means all of us here can reflect on just how futile an effort that was).
So what's the big deal about Persona 3 FES? "FES" is short for "Festival," and in Japan, FES was released as a reward for gamers who picked up the original. Not only does the new FES content enhance the original game, but the new FES component is actually a game in and of itself, accessible right from the get-go. We think of it as two games on one disc. It is the definitive Persona 3 experience.
We will be releasing the stand-alone version of FES. There was of course the option of just releasing the "Append" disc (which would have required ownership of the original game), but in the end, we didn't want you to have to own anything else to enjoy the experience.
We'll have a ton more updates going out for FES soon, telling you about the extra features, content, and modes for you to enjoy. Thanks for being patient. We're glad you stuck around.
Oh, and we decided to set the suggested retail for FES at $29.99, just for the heck of it. Thanks for continuing to support us, Atlus Faithful!

Played the Jap version using a slide card and a modded PS2 and damn...when they say hard they REALLY mean hard.
I hope they used the append disk over here like Guilty Gear Accent Core+ though becuase I do want to play it in english but don't wanna Spend $29.99 on it.

Some PS3s do. 60 and 80 gigs but not the 40. Though putting it on the wii wouldn't have been too bad of an idea. More people that own the system means more potential buyers.
But it would'nt make sense to put an "add-on" game on a system other than the system that the original game was released for. Will this one ship with another artbook and soundtrack for those that missed the first release? I got mine...just curious.

Atlus had to release this add on game(like DMC3 SE), since it is a "last gen" game.If this was current gen it would be simple as going to PSN. That's the great thing about DLC.

P3 has only just been released in UK a few weeks back, been meaning to get it but haven't had chance.
