That which we cannot leave
We long, oh we long

That which we cannot see
We reach, reach out for

That which we can never hear
We stop, we stare

We stare, stop, and stare
Are you even out there?

That voice we never recall
Are you even real at all?

Those stars, up high, we reach, so high
Only dreams...only dreams? Can we even reach them, those dreams?

Those dreams we cannot fulfill,
Those hopes that were never made real

Lost forever? Only lost in the corridors of our minds
Behind, the deep, dark corners of our minds

We only seek for our hearts to be filled
Our existence, valued, someone overjoyed and thrilled

No shape, no form, yet all these things we feel
We search, we ask, aware, these are all too real

For those that we cannot express
We stop, we keep, we hold onto our distress

Very good poem. I like how you're trying to create a physical form for emotions, dreams and desires ^^ Great job, Ken.

It's beautiful. The structure served its purpose well. I think you did a good job in choosing your words.
