Well, MOST of you know that all schools usually have firewalls and blocks and what not that block porn of course, and now they are blocking games, like flash games. Well, in my junior year, I recently got involved in a C++ Class so we do the work fast like usual considering the fact me and my friends are computer whiz, and we game but this time they were all blocked, so We tried to find ways around it and failed. Whilst me being at home, I found something called e-bypass and it was a website that allowed us to go to any website we wanted to, even if it was blocked. So I went to school the next day and showed them and we all used it. The next day, someone came into the class room and I didnt know who it was, no one did really, and he asked for Ryan Drobet, I raised my hand and was basically "Hell ya I get to get out of this class" Then he came up to me, pulled a chair up to me and sat down saying "Yea you need to stop doing what your doing" And I had no idea what the hell he was talking about, then he raised his voice and kept assuming I was being a smart ass with him, when in actuality, I had no idea what he was talking about, then he raised his voice more and more and started screaming at me, and I was scared cause I had no idea, then he started screaming to everyone in class saying "DONT GO TO EBYPASS ANY MORE, YOUR JUST MAKING OUR JOB HARDER" thats when I realized what he was talking about, and that he was a administrater for our school. I was scared and freaked cause everyone was looking at me whilst he was yelling, everyone kept thinking I was looking up porn and what not, *which is not true, why would I look up porn if My computer is right near the teacher? and why do it if you have your friends near you" So I went home and told them and what not and it was pretty funny but it still pissed me off and it was embarassing. I told almost all my friends on the internet and someone mentioned I should send them an email, so I sent the admin of my school a email, basically making them look like ass's who dont deserve there college degree due to the fact he came in screaming and yelling at me for a STUPID reason. THE NEXT DAY I got sent to the office and the asst. principal kept talking to me about the emails asking if I sent them. I denied them, even tho they had "Love Ryan Drobet" at the bottom of it....Then I kept denying it after he kept threatening to use a lie detector and press charges. Then He let me go back to class, I was nervous and shaken up . Exactly 20 seconds later, I get called down again, he brings me in his office and shows me his computer, and Its my Yahoo account, the email account basically that I used to send the email, and my entire yahoo account says all my info and Ryan Drobet in it so I was like "SHIT" but I still denied it saying that anyone could do that and what not =D, then the REAL principal came in and found out what happened. She randomly decided to ban my account at school for "Hacking". Apparently She JUST found out about it and decided to ban it, but the assitant principal didnt do any consequences, but whatever. So Now I have "hacking" in my school record. I did fully explain the entire ordeal about the bypassing and they still consider it hacking, even the admins. lol :doindadom Lol If going to a website to go to another website is hacking, Ive been hacking for a long time =*( Then the principal found out I sent that email but I kept denying it so they couldnt do anything, so instead of banning my account for a few weeks like they figured out laters, she extended my account ban for the rest of the year. -_-

NOW that Im a senior, I dont do that, just because im In MANY computer classes, and if I break the rules, they suspend mya ccount and I wont be able to finish any assignments in my computer classes and Ill fail. Recently yesterday, I was browsing stealthbot.net, a nice site I use to rid my self of boredom, and they blocked it... when it violates NO rules.

Now I know the computer admins are on my ass so I figured Id get revenge on the last day of school, sure its a long way but Any ideas? This was originally just a story but IM bored so give me ideas!

You got caught? Furthermore, you didn't even hack. What a shame. If you're going to go out, go out with a blast, I say.

At my school, a good deal of us are VERY skilled with computers since over half of us are Electrical/Computer Engineers. As such, bypassing the system is something we take pleasure in doing. In a sense, it is a competition between the Admin and the students. They put up one barrier, we trample it to the ground with ease. Then they put up a very STRONG barrier, but we just make ourselves have Administrative access, and then nullify everything.

What you did was not hacking. All you did was use an outside proxy. In a sense, it is like indirectly connecting to the internet. In this method, it only LOOKS like you are accessing that particular website, while you are actually browsing other sites THROUGH that website. A clever little method, if used properly. Now if you really want to screw them over; make yourself an admin, then create a seperate admin account, and then make your account a regular user again. Use that other admin account to do whatever you want. There is no way they can track who does this, in this method.

With some skill in MS-DOS, you can wreak complete havoc in that school, also. Shut down computers at random, completely erase the C drive while the computer is running, change Admin settings. It is all available if you take the time to learn. Oh... since you are taking a C++ class, you should be able to incorporate the necessary commands in to your programs. In that method, it will look like you are actually doing school work; whereas in reality, you are writing code that will cause mass destruction.

Of course, those are only possibilities if you want to do it. No offense, but I doubt you would have the skill to do things like that at this particular point. Still though, it does make you drool in anticipation, does it not? In my opinion, you shouldn't have even bothered sending that email. Believe it or not, schools are very much capable of viewing what you do in or outside of school. It is no surprise to me that they logged in to your account.

Oh... and by the way, it is a possiblity that they could know that you came to this website to complain about them. Just letting you know. :toocool:

Lol Yea it is but they cant really do anything about it. And This lil thing happened last year, Sop Im taking excell and office simulations, those are my two computer classes for these 5 classes. And yea they caught us, they have like key loggers and what not, basically COMPLETE control over everyones accounts, they know every key/button and what not that we type.

And nice idea but I dont wanna get in MAJOR trouble lol.

Ya know...It might not be a good Idea to do that...being illegal and all...

As for the possiblilty that the school admins are reading this thread right now...I have a message for them:

"IF YOU TRY TO DO ANYTHING, YOU'LL BE VIOLATING THE FRIST AMENDMENT!!!"

lol....that is of course assuming that you are using your home computer to access this site... No joke, they can't punish you for what you do at home...

Overall, I think the school overreacted, but at the same time, you may have overreacted a little, the email was a bad idea, and I seriously wouldn't reccommend doing that other stuff you mentioned...

I agree

your totally right. Good job, you got me stumped. Thats a first time for me.

As for the first amendment thing, We dont have that in school lol They have rights to search our lockers, our book bags, our anything basically.

I would think that legally they are on somewhat shakey ground logging into an online account using passwords lifted from proxy cache...if you sent the e-mails from home, they have no right to enter your yahoo account.
If you had keys to your house in your locker, would they be able to then use those to enter your house and search your room?

That's what I meant...I know that your bookbags and stuff are subject to searches....and that dress codes and stuff have to be followed...but what I meant was as long as your not on school property, or tampering with school property (ie: the Network), then they really can't demand anything of you...

Lol...hook a laptop up to the network with any linux distro, throw a custom-configured Samba package on the next "SYMANTEC GHOST" image they make and provide them the convenience of recursive networked directory deletion on-demand...couple megahertz off your 'brow, maybe a terabyte off theirs?

<EDIT>Maybe I shouldn't be saying anything...my school system isn't fond of me either. Hehe.</EDIT>
