Well this has been going on for awhile. My psp stick is messed up. For some reason, it will also, in the game, push down like I'm pushing down. But I don't. Any tips?

pull the stick out, kinda like when a tv controller's button gets stuck.

I guess you have to send it to a shop for repair. I have no problems with my psp stick before so I'm not really sure how the problem is.

Yup, either send it to a shop or buy a replacement stick. Replacements should be cheap but downside is you'll have to open your PSP and unscrew a few things.

The problem may not be related to the stick at all.

I had the same issue with a PSP and it was fixed by opening it up and replacing the stick. However it eventually came back and did the same thing even when the stick was not connected so I was pretty sure much it was a motherboard problem.

While you could just fix it yourself easily, if it's a serious issue like the mobo then you should get Sony to fix it. If you open the PSP you void your warranty and Sony will not touch it.

A faulty stick should still be covered under Sony's warranty and they may replace it for free.
