Should BleachPortal start posting about DB releases?

BleachPortal is for the fans, and a feud between a couple of admins and DB shouldn't stop you guys from getting to see DB subs. I figured I'd ask you guys, as well as the guys over at BP.

I'd appriciate it if someone could sticky this for a little while so it can get some votes.

I think they should, DB's my favorite subber for Bleach. I know it all started because of a Virginia Tech comment by DB on one of their episodes, and I can understand why the BleachPortal mod would be upset, but to go so far as demand the firing of the person responsible, and cutting off DB completely when it didn't happen was a little harsh.

MY fav subber is BD, so why not? why shouldn't they not share the fastest subbed releases with us on the BP?But you can always log on the subbers site, but if they would share the download link with the fans on BP,because Db is the fastest,so BP, would win some more fans by posting this sabber if you ask me....

I hate DB for their sometimes immature and insensitive posts(e.g posting of a racist filipino article), but hell, their the only ones out there.

True, I also hate Dattebayo, but I have to resort to watching it since Flomp-Rumbel is slow on some of their releases except for the current release.

I prefer DB better because of their general "subbing style" like font-type and so on..

about their immaturity, it doesn't really bother me since i don't care about their stupid comments.

True, I also hate Dattebayo, but I have to resort to watching it since Flomp-Rumbel is slow on some of their releases except for the current release.actually, i gotta give DB some cred for maturing a little n gettin more detailed in their subs...plus they release fast...that's always a plus.

Don't care, I watch the raws :p (though my acutal comprehension of what they say is only about 50%, I can pretty much tell what is going on by the context and my memory of what happened in the manga)

It's his site though, he can put up whatever subs he wants TBH.

no matter if theres a fight going on between a few admins from CB/Bleach portal and DB, fans and people who post on the forums often will post when the DB sub is ready. Most of us don't care what DB says, we'll still download their subs.

DB is quick, free, oh and if i didnt forget... free.. Its a free service we take the 'immaturity' as people say with the free service. (though i find the immaturity funny personally, its like a joke at life at times and its needed.. people are too serious).

We're demanding excelence out of something that is a privilege. This is a free service that DB is doing for us - what do they get back from us in return? Bickering? Complaining? Whatever happened to gratitude? They're entitled to act in whatever fashion they want imo simply because its their show. We can try and not feature their dl's to lower their support, but in all reality, if you don't like them and refuse to dl their anime, hell, i will and so will 5 others.

It's like getting upset at someone who gives you cheddar cheese for free, when you wanted monteray jack. And besides, "immaturity"? So they make a couple crack comments, big deal. Who's the one being immature? Them for messing around? Or us for taking their jokes and allowing it to ruin our lives?

I say bring DB back to BP.

Yeah i remember people getting upset about that, but even if they made a comment about VT tech the people shouldn't be too outraged against a sub group.. be outraged to the guy who commited the crime.

I also remember people getting angry with DB because they said something about flilipino tv or something, which i read the post they made about someone saying flip tv was using their translations and subs on tv and youtube. There comment wasnt anything to get people enraged about but still people acted like DB murdered there favorite pet..

Hell, i went ahead and read some of the bans DB does and the FAQ its honestly funny and the group doesn't seem to support stupidity from its viewers which is a good thing!

Its really the idiots that cause the trouble and the young kids, mature viewers know that if your getting a free service that could easily cost someone between 300-500 dollars a episode that your just going to take it and be happy..

But if someone really wants to control how DB acts in there subs, why don't you just buy the bleach or naruto episode each week? (<--- this line right here is for anyone that complains about DB's 'immaturity')

On a related note, this thread is becoming a repeat of "Flomp v Dattebayo". The issue is what BleachPortal puts up. I don't see why they can't post both links, it's not like there's some special honor in being linked. Then again, BP is a internet site run by people, and if they want to be petty about things and only post announcements about Flomp's sub, they are free to do so. I really don't care, I just go to Dattebayo's site to get the link now (which means I no longer have any reason to visit BP, by the way).
