Don't be so pessimistic =S Think of this class as a training. If you can't make it in your first try, you can apply again and you'll pass for sure next time.
There are a lot of current Gotei members who didn't pass the academy at their first try.

At any rate, that's only if you do fail. If you try hard, you participate in all the contests and you keep active, you can pass :)
