Everything fades to black and the world is going dark.
The sounds are all muffled from the ringing in my ears.
I let go of my hopes and dreams in one swift second.
All my hatred and my rage and all my pain and fears.
Then a flicker, a glint, a small sliver of light stands out.
Have I gone completely insane in my very last thought.
Than an image of a face drives me to push up and on.
She tells me never give up on life, a lesson hard fought.
The image fades as I draw a gasping breath of air.
I wish I could say for sure, if she was even there.

It might work better if you used commas.

On the 7th line, I think you wanted to use me instead of my, and on the 9th line, it should be fades :P
