Although I disagree with the title, "Black and White" because of the Sepia-toned color of the background, I admire this photo. I like the capture moment of people walking. I believe that this is a street type of photograph simply because it has taken outdoors. In additional, the background defines the negative space which the lines are repetitive. It's quite an impressive photo.
6.) What do you want to learn about or improve on in regards to your own work?
- I want to learn more about artistic composition.
7.) If you were to become a professional photographer, what style of photography you will choose and why?
- I’ll say Street Photography because I want to take photographs anywhere and I would like to meet people while I’m on the road.

3.) If the applicant completes everything, create the voting poll and we will begin our critiques for 2 weeks only. It is your decision if you want to let the applicant in or not. But please, refer to the applicants' skills. Not their attitudes or whatsoever.

Criteria for judging (terms and things to consider):

Picture quality:
It's obvious. All images should be clear.

Lightning:
Are the lightning of the photos are precised or not? Are the photos too bright? or too dull?

Composition:
~> has to do with making a picture rather than just taking it. Composing means paying attention to the relationship of one thing to another within the frame, and to the relationship of everything in the view finder to the top, bottom, and sides of the frame. You compose these elements by making small adjustments in how you position your camera and where you position yourself.

Colors:
The balance of the colors should be equal. For example, the skin color of the subject must be balance. I'm talking about the tone of the photograph as well.

Variety:
Are the applicants bring out different styles of photography? Do they bring out their originality?

Focus:
~> to adjust the lens so that it is set at the exact distance from camera to the subject. A correctly focused picture is sharp.

Depth:
~> how deep the field is in which everything is in focus. To get really sharp depth of field in a photograph you need to shoot with a small lens opening. When you shoot with the lens wide open, only what you focus on will be sharp, and everything else will be blurry.

Rule of thirds:
It means the way the subject positions in the photograph. Are the subjects/models are in proper position?

How to calculate the gradings:
1.) Add them together and divide them by 600. Each Criteria for Judging has the score of 100. Therefore, there are 6 criterias - which means the overall total score is 600.

Example of calculation:
83/100 + 84/100 + 90/100 + 95/100 + 93/100 + 80/100 = 515 / 600= 0.858...

2.) Multiply it by 100 to get the rating percent:
example: 0.858 x 100 = 85.8%

3.) Note: If the first number near the decimal point is 5 and up, it will automatically increase the marks.

example: 85.8% = 86%

Rating and Skill Guidelines:
100% - 95% ---------------------------- A+ Specialist
94% - 90% ----------------------------- A
89% - 85% ----------------------------- B
84% - 81% ----------------------------- C
80% ------------------------------------- C-
79% and below ------------------------ D

What the rankings and skills mean?

A+ Specialist = Professional/Expert
A = Advance
B = Average
C = Amateur
C- = Beginner
D = Poor

A+ Photo Specialist = People with special skills in photography. Professionals, for instance.
A or Advance = Has great experience in photography, but needs a little bit improvement.
B or Average = It's 50/50. It means the applicant has shown his skills through effort - but way beyond that.
C or Amateur = It shows that the applicant has learned the basic skills of photography. However, he/she needs to improve more.
C- or Beginner = Has the idea of what photography is. However, the submissions don't show well. Needs to learn the basic skills.
D or Poor = The photos suck due to bad photos. Mostly Snapshots alone.

4.) I, Yukoshi will pm the applicants instead to congratulate them or not.

I hope that this fix system works.
