Yea Ive been through this before but It seems my new ISP has screwed me over.
I play many multiplayer games like Warcraft 3 TFT, and Unreal Tournament 2003 and Command And Conquer...For Unreal tournament 2003 and Command and conquer, I cant play online and I figure its my router tho when I type my ip into the address bar to configure my router, it doesnt load.... My firewalls are always off and always have been but ever since the ISP was changed to "CenturyTel" I cant play unreal and command and conquer online.
As for Wc3 tft, I cant host games but I still have access to battle.net and IM able to game multiplayer.
Anyone help?

Yeah, what you were saying was pretty confusing to me. You mentioned that the problem started happening after you switch your ISP, which could mean an ISP issue, not your router.
Anyway, first thing always is to isolate the problem, try bypassing your router see if it works. If it did, then you know is the router issue, maybe you need to forward some ports, dont know.
I play CC and WC3 behind a router too, I never experience any problems, although sometimes battlenet tends to kick me off in the middle of a game. But overall, its been great
So, try to isolate your problem first

You might need to open up some ports in your router. (Can not say which ones)
Other thing is, if you are using NORTON or McAffee Firewall and you are not sure what you need to do about configuring it.... Just DISABLE IT when playing online games.

Actually now I have a HUGE problem, I have no internet period, all the lights light up on the router except the INTERNET one and CenturyTel is still our ISP and were still getting internet from them but I think its something within the router configuration and I HAVE NO idea what any of it means. Ill try to see if I can make some screenshots and save them to a disc or something so I can post them here and maybe you guys can help.
And it was pretty simple My problem was, It was either the ISP or the router, the thing is I still have the same router but when I type my ip address into the address bar, it doesnt give me the same configuration menu, its something different which I have no idea why.
(Nvm, My mom found the numbah to call the ISP and we have it all fixed)

(Nvm, My mom found the numbah to call the ISP and we have it all fixed) sounds like ure getting screwed dude. No internet light means just that - no internet. but if you have a spare modem try that one and see if it still shows no internet. if so u need to open a can of whoop-ass.
as for online gaming ? like HattoriHeiji said, have u forwarded the ports for the games? sometimes u have to forward ports to be able to host and in some cases join online games thru a router. i cant say ive had that porblem with mine either. but i found a site that might help in that respect - if ure router is on the list then it should be able to show you how to port forward for the games u play - give it a try:

EDIT: ahh nuts.. just saw the end of the post saying its all fixed -_-....

Lol well my internet is back at home but I still dont have access to online gaming like UT 2003 but the thing that pisses me off is I had access to playing online when I had comcast, then we switched to century tel, and now it doesnt work, Thats why I know it isnt the router. I even talked to the "CenturyTel's Technicians" and they are idiots. One of them kept saying My ROUTER was the main source of my internet and that if I turned off my router, My internet would go bye bye. So I just quit trying to ask anyone of that company.

LMAO!! what a bunch of morons, they sound almost as bad as the uk ISP im on at the moment. 'Cpet they tried to tell me there was a problem on the line even tho i had it checked before ringing them. I'd get shot of them bud - as i've learnt with ISP's u get what you pay for and i wish i never signed up with them.
Well if your internet is back and u cant get online with UT 2003 the only other thing i can think of is to set an access rule in your firewall if you are running one. But as you say u coulnt connect after changing ISP's which says to me they are bleeding you of money for a half-cut service. If your router has a diagnostics test run that and see what it tells you about the line and your connection - outwitting your ISP with technical info you know more about then they do is always good for a laugh :P

wait wait wait is your service dsl? becasue if it is then your dsl modem is most likely a router as well i have verizon dsl and my modem is a router and a modem i have to forward ports through my modem sounds weird but its true. (To host on battlefield 1942 i have to forward several ports and i don't have a router s i know my dsl modem is also a router. because one i wouldn't need to forward ports if it wasn't and 2 i couldn't forward ports if it wasn't lol)
This would also explain why the guy said your router was the source of your internet

Uhh no, I have a SEPERATE ROUTER to give my sis and dad internet access....
I do believe I stated I had a d-link router and a westell modem,
not two routers
as for port fowarding, I also talked to the ISP about that and they said I need to contact the owners of the actual game (as soon as I even get the game) to actually get ability to play on there game ONLINE wise......(****ing retards)
