Contest #1 Shinigami Academy Class 18 Results
Well kids here are the results for contest number 1. As you can see a number of rules set in order for you to realize this contest. The contest was not made to be hard, but some might had found it like that. This will help you to explore more of CB and learn more about the cool places the forum have that you hadn’t been there yet. You done it well guys so don’t worry about it. This is the first contest so you after this things might get a little bit interesting.*grins* For those who think they didn’t done well don’t worry this is the first contest you still plenty of time to improve on the training. Now let’s discuss this contest. The other main reason I made this type of contest is to test your abilities to follow instructions. One thing that is very important for you is that, to know how to follow the instructions you received. On a Gotei 13 contests this could be the turning point between getting yourself disqualified or winning the contest. Also is very important that you need to be aware of the following.
1. You can’t change the answers once they are already sent.
2. You can’t send more than one answer to one question or clue. This would show the owner of the contest that you are not sure of your answer and that you are not taking this contest seriously. The only way to give more than one answer is if the contest owner specifies it.
3. Not being careful when reading the contest clues or rules will make you look bad at the time of making questions that could had been answered if you took the time to read the thread more carefully. This is to prevent you from embarrassing yourself in front of other divisions. (Please take this one at heart since is a very important point).
4. Sometimes Gotei’s contest are based on timing and how fast you can make them, others is based one how well are your skills of thinking, logic and analyzing clues. For this the good thing about Gotei 13 is that your contests will be executed on the basis of team work. In there your whole division would be participating and you could be the key ingredient to make a successful winning for your division.
5. Please be aware that a contest thread is only to make questions, suggestions or complaining about the contest itself if you think is not being done fair. The spam of the contest thread could lead to an automatic disqualification of your division if the contest owner believes so.
6. Unless the deadline is changed if you sent your answers after the deadline you won’t get any points.
7. Also asking direct questions about the answers is not allowed. It could mean automatic disqualification.
8. Do not ask questions about the question if you already had sent your answers. This will really show that you doubt your answers and plus it will be useless since you already had sent the answers and can’t change them.
As you can see these were the general rules that you needed to follow on a real contest on Gotei 13. During this contest I found the following situations that really make me wonder about if you really read the thread contest or not. I won’t mention names because I believe that’s not the relevant point. The relevant point is the mistake that was made and that you can fix by being more careful the next time you participate on a contest. Here are the situations.
a. I asked a format to deliver the answers and some people delivered it out of that format. Unfortunately there were deductions of points for not following instructions.
b. Some answers weren’t complete but still the got partial points.
