I think people are getting a little riidiculous with this spoiler thing. A guy was showing off his newly made gifs that showed some characters from ep 55 didn't give anything away just kinda showed they were in it and someone posted that they should have used spoiler tags... OMFG whats next... OMFG you posted a picture of ichigos hair from episode 51 WTF!?!?!?! u should have used a spoiler tag argh now the episode is ruined for me. Give me a break newbs
anyway the debate is whether you think im right or not post your opinion on this subject!

It's only a spoiler if they talk about really important things, not stuff like someone gets a haircut or whatever.

Actually from what I've seen people really do tend to stress out about spoilers way more then its worth. In fact I've read that movie producers actually give away alot of spoilers to the endings of their movies just to attract more viewers. Believe it or not.
On the other hand it spoiling does take away from the intensity of a story and kinda gives it a hollow ending good or bad. But to complain about it and be all "OMFG whats next... OMFG you posted a picture of ichigos hair from episode 51 WTF!?!?!?! u should have used a spoiler tag argh now the episode is ruined for me." is somewhat uncalled for and obviously exxagerated. A more appropriate way of responding to a minor spoiler is something like "Hey watch it dude, your kinda spoilin there. Try to use the spoiler tags alittle more when discussing new episodes or anything related to the manga".
Just a thought. ^^

Well, for me, if I read something that I had not seen yet, I wouldnt really much care because it doesnt really much bother me, yet it makes me want to see that thing even more because I will want to know what happened.
Also, I always use spoilers, so it doesnt really matter

I have been in many forums and yea the whole idea of spoiler tags are to warn about spoilers... if they complain about little things like these.. than they shouldnt be considering to keep contact with the threads.
I have an addtional opinion, over useage of spoiler tag gets annoying as well... just me saying.

yea like there was a error(something) in ep 55 they made him use a spoiler tag.. but if it is really a spoiler then yea

that is slightly exagerrated... Spoilers kinda want to make me watch it even more... just to see how it really happened! Important bits should have spoiler tags.

When you join a forum i think you should expect forums in an anime topic...
But if its a major spoiler like what happens to a character that been kidnapped or sumthin, you should use a spoiler tag.
Since i dont kno how to place spoiler tags i would just right SPOILER!!!!! in big ass words in th beggining of my post.

i love spoilers. i want to know what's going on next, and i will STILL enjoy the episode, even though i know what's going to happen already.
i don't know why people make such a big fuss about it. ^____^

I do understand why ppl are making a great fuss about it.. It doesn't count for me though I don't care for spoilers :)
But just think of the n00bs.. theyre like "oh no.. what's gonna happen now? I'm gonna dwnload the next episode as fast as i can" and then while dwnloading he reads about whats gonna happen.
that would spoil everything right?

your blowing what i said out of proportion. i'm talking about people gettingcarried away about things that don't spoil anything yet people call it a spoiler. I can understand spoilers yes it is kinda annoying to know whats going to happen but people are saying a picture that shows 2 characters running is a spoiler even know you can't tell where they are runnin or why... that kind of think is what im talking about not spoilers in general

ohhh..ok i get what you mean now. anyway it can't be helped because some people are kind of sensitive, there's nothing that can be done about it. if it's annoying...well no big deal, just calm down, ignore it and look at some other threads. ^_____^

I agree, people are way too immature about these things.
Honestly, people are free to discuss what they wish.
The only thing is that people should watch is where they post spoilers.
If a thread is posted 149, don't post about 291 in that thread.

OK Shishio... I gotta agree its getting a bit on my nerves too... I mean my first post! My very first post had no spoiler whatsoever... Next thing you know I get a PM from a guy who said that it was a spoiler and that I should edit it as soon as possible... They are carrying it a bit too much... But sometimes I think they were used correctly... I was reading an anime thread and suddenly an idiot posts something that happens a long time away from the anime events (he read the manga)... I was pissed!!! I mean he didn't change that post even though it was clear like sunrise that he had to... I didn't need one and ended up doing it...

I think if you come on an anime message board, and you arent up to speed, you should expect people to be talking about things that are gonna happen later in the story that you havent seen yet. Thats common sense.
Then again, some people dont have common sense.

I think that if its in the last three episodes or past it in Manga then it should be a spoiler. To use an exaple, I posted a spoiler in spoiler brackets, and then the next person did not read the spoiler and said, but what blank happens later. I think situations like that are why people jump over spoilers at all because it could easily go to far.

Well, I am not one for judging spoiler/non-spoiler stuff but it seems that some kind of arbitrary sceen that appears in sig (not in tags) wouldnt constitute spoiling anything. So far I havent seen anything like that. >.> of course I am the sort of person to marathon anime series so i catch up to everyone. SO is not to say anything is spoiled to me. But its relavent to people who havent seen them all. To say the most about it, is that its ultimately for the sig-user to determine spoiler tags are needed or not. -.- calling them out on a random sceen that may-or-may not spoil something is completely subjective p.o.v.

Well i think that if ur the type of person who gets annoyed by even seeing the slightest bit of spoil which doesnt really matter....i suggest u shouldnt even join the forum....as it natural that some ppl have watched the episode faster than you...and naturally they would be discussing about it...BUT! yes i agree to what Shishio said "I can understand spoilers yes it is kinda annoying to know whats going to happen but people are saying a picture that shows 2 characters running is a spoiler even know you can't tell where they are runnin or why... that kind of think is what im talking about not spoilers in general"....but really if u think that seeing a pcitures is aspoiler even though u cant tell where they are or why and get annoyed....ur crazy...

I have nothing against spoilers myself and I agree that people whjo don't want spoiling should not join the forums, but I believe that Images can spoil things very easily. Not that I care, but say the two characters example, its entirely possible that those two characters had never been seen together before and that something had to happen for them to be together.

Well, it is annoying, because this one time I was looking up Aizen Sousuke's Soul Slayer on Google and I got this site that told me that he had defected with Tousen and Ichimaru and .... I freaked. Then I started reading the manga and I got all better. So, was that a spoiler for non-manga people? Or is that common knowledge now? Or am I just being annoying?
I think people who have not wached up to date should still be able to look at the forums...59 episodes can be a little taxing. While it does not take a moment to click a button and reveal the spoiler, you might spoil someone's experience of Bleach for a long time if you reveal something that is only supposed to be known 20 episodes ahead of them.
