If you're wondering why the name of the thread has the Gotei 13 week in it when the thing has been put on hold by the C46, it's because the idea originates from there.

This idea is intended to create a sort of a "member activity check" for divisions, as well as organize some division activities for fun and games.

The structure of this plan is as follows:

Each division captain posts a challenge in the Challenge area for Division members only (i.e., only members of the Gotei 13 are allowed to participate). Posting this contest is mandatory in order to view the captain's activity and involvement in the Gotei 13 project.

The challenges will be short contests, doable in just a few hours each. Each contest will be posted after the former one has been finished.

Members from ALL divisions are required to participate. This is an activity check for the members outside the division in order to make sure that the captains (and the C46) all see just how active you really are.

Contests are still in planning, but should be completed by tomorrow.

There are 13 contests entirely, however, if a division fails to post a contest within the allotted time action will be taken against them, but the contest will be skipped.

We need your help in coming up with contest ideas. Simple contests that can be completed quite quickly. Like maybe, crosswords, identify anime/distorted pics, write a short paragraph containing given phrases with limited words so it isn't too long, etc.

Post the specifics for the contest. We need ideas ASAP.

I'm sure we all don't want our div to get punished this time :(

I think we should do a crossword. It should contain our names or something about the 10th division. Then the clues can be something along the lines of our likes/dislikes or a special quality that our division has.

For example have something like

I think that would be pretty easy and can be made and completed very quickly. There doesn't really have to be specific things just likes and dislikes in general. I don't think there is need to go into any complicated details. Well there's my thought. I really think this is a good idea.

Members/divisions that participate will have to write a short paragraph based on a given prompt, with a limit of (insert number here) words. Humorous, witty, dark, any theme works as long as those few prompts/words/phrases I give are included.

Best short story would be given rep from both me and Stony, and points will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

1st place: Rep from both me and Stony + 1000 points
2nd place: Rep from both me and Stony + 750 points
3rd place: 750 points

Probably, the captains and vice-captains will be voting on this to ensure fairness.

So Futy and I have been discussing this over MSN, and we have come up with a contest idea which we will be carrying out.

We have come up with 3 questions, which we will ask every single member to answer. All of your answers should, as far as possible, reflect your own personality. This is because we will be releasing these questions and everyone's answers to the Gotei, and they will have to match each answer to each member.

Hints will be given to divisions upon payment for each question. Most likely, we'll be charging 30 points for each question. So, if they want hints for all 3 questions, they will have to pay 90 points.

Points donated, if any, will be distributed evenly to all members here after the contest is over. :)

I am aware that not everyone will be able to participate in this, therefore we will give bonus points to divisions that are able to guess the members who did not take part in the contest.

Here are the questions that Futy and I have come up with:

1. What would you do if you were god for a day?
2. Which anime/game character would you liken yourself to?
3. What is your favourite colour?

12 out of I-can't-remember-how-many members have replied so far. I think it's good enough. :p

I think to make it easier on people and because there is limited time for divisions to get their stuff together...how about letting them know which member put which answer as theirs? So they will guess who the members are based on all three questions instead of each individual question.

So the contest would be something like:
