Gotei Challenges (in seireitei)

The captains have been planning this challenge activity check for some time.
it's this one time thing which involves all divisions.

Since the contest/challenge section is closed till further notice,
would it be ok for them to run this thing privately in seireitei section.

We did give them 2 weeks to sort their problems out without our involvement

Well, yeah.

I called BS on it because we had recently told the vaizards that they couldn't go anymore.

I understand they put time and effort into it (um...sorry, the truthful side of me says it's really not that much effort to put fifteen easily-identifiable movie quotes in a thread and post it), but rules are rules...and you guys DID make the rules for a reason, unless I am quite mistaken in the purpose of this organization. Bottom line, as far as I'm concerned, is this - if they're allowed to, I'm re-opening the Vaizard contest and allowing the three "forsaken ones" divisions to begin contests again.

Besides, I thought this period was to give people time to "sort things out". That's why we didn't host contest 55, isn't it? So the divisions had time to sort themselves out? Making a manic week of contests doesn't really lend itself well to "sorting things out", it kind of makes it a pain in the ass.

And I'd prefer if certain individuals would check with others before "giving the ok", as it were. I understand I'm the new kid and such, but where I come from, groups don't do things without the GROUP doing it. Personally, I put a stop to it, and it kind of burns my ass a little bit to see someone just "give the ok" because they think they know better than I do. You may, I may be wrong, but I'm a big fan of discussion before action.

umm, i usually bring up for discussion or double check with others before making most decisions as staff or C46.
same applies in this situation

i already got the ok via PM's w/ admins and from what was discussed in the staff lounge.
Cher also agreed which was enough

If you noticed, their challenge thread has been moved
(lower C46 members can't move threads)

Also keep in mind their challenge isn't suppose to be a REAL challenge.
like undy said, it's part of something bigger that the captains have been discussing in their lounge.
