I figured since a couple of threads around are for people in places like the U.K. and Australia, it'd be alright to open up one for Japan.

We don't have to speak Japanese in here all the time, and my Japanese isn't eaxctly sharp enough yet.

Next year I'll be going to university and doing a Bachelor of Asian Studies with Japanese as my major and during the holidays I'll be able to go to Japan and study over there until my holidays end. So, I'm definitely going to take the opportunity to visit one of my favourite countries in the world ^^

At the moment I know a bit of Japanese. I've learnt most of it through anime and movies as well as language education programs on my computer. So if I say something that's wrong, you'll have to correct me =)
