I'm downloading the Demo before I buy it, not sure my GPU can take it.

Looks nice though, I'm glad to see they've broken away from the tired old WWII genre and tried something more imaginative...

Bought it the day it released for pc, runs decently enough and i was able to get threw singleplayer with very little lag problems, however multiplayer is laggy. Should work better once i get a new GFX card. Oh and, yeah it kicks ass.

does the game give 640x480 as a resolution option?

Who here has a high end graphics card like the GeForce 8800 or the ATI 2900XT? Can it run smoothly with all settings on high? Planning to get this game soon, heard some good reviews about it.

Fun gammmmeeeeee, has alot more pizazz then the other CODs, yet it still always feels like every enemys only gunning for you. They incoporated some cool stuff in it, like trying to escape a sinking ship and being able to cover troops and take down vechicles from a AC-130 (gunship) which was reeeeally fun. The graphics are amazing, the voice acting is well done and its probably the best war game ive ever played.

just read an interview with the public relations dude from Infinity Ward and it sounds pretty cool so far, haven't read it all through since it's quite long and translating the whole thing sucks even more xD

My brother has it for 360, and I may pick it up when I get some extra cash, but it looked really good. Graphics looked good, variety of weapons looked good and it was nice to see all the good abilitys there, (jump, crouch, dash etc) where GoW you had no crouch (unless up against some sort of low wall/sandbags) and couldn't jump (unless jumping over a small wall/sandbag).

i just beat the whole game,s its simply awsome, the only regret is the single player missions are too short, i got through in less than 4 hours. just wish they made more missions

It sucks that CoD4 only supports dx9 and no option to make it run in dx7 mode. Really disappointed me. I can barely run it all on low and get at least 30fps max.

AMAZING Game

Storyline at times is almost hauntingly close to a, wow, "this could really happen tomorrow", type thing. The single player game play still builds on the previous CoD games, and if graphics are your thing, this game delivers, and while on a Dx9 platform.

I'll share on the Multiplayer when I get a chance to check it out, but I feel my 50$ was well spent on the single player portion of the game alone, even though some complain it is on the shorter end of things.

Really? Thanks for letting me know, I'll keep my ears to the ground.
