Tamora Pierce Books

One of my favorite fantasy authors is Tamora Pierce who has written about 20 books so far about two different worlds The Tortall Universe and The Circle Universe.

She started with the Alanna Series in which a Girl seeks to become a Knight in a realm where only males are allowed to become Knights whilst the women become good house wifes and her brother seeks to become a great sorcerer instead of becoming a knight which he is inept at.

If so which character is your favorite and why? and which Universe are you more interested in?

I personally have read most of her books and think they are great.

I like the Tortall based ones more, definitely, my favourites being the Trickster's Choice, Trickster's Queen and Beka Cooper Terrier. My favourite character is actually Beka from her most recent Tortall book, more because she's a different type of character from the other heroines.

True that, Bekas the great grandmother of Roger isn't she?..I can't remember or not but I know shes in the same family line as him.
