So anyone that owns these games help me make my decision. I played both the demos, and I wanted to buy both of them immediatly afterwards, but i'm sticking to my budget and only getting one.
My computer can run both, just not on max settings.
If you own both, tell me which one has a longer SP version, as these games probably won't run smoothly online for another 6 months of patches.
If you own one of them, please give me a quick rundown on how sweet(or not) it is.
Thanks!

I have not played Crysis but I picked up COD4 last night, I've always been a fan of the COD games and honestly think this one just takes what made the other ones so great and takes it all a step further. The graphics are amazing especially still running Directx9. The game play is still very much COD game play so if you never cared for the single player in the previous games chances are you will not care much for it in this one. Overall it's easily worth it for anyone who enjoyed the previous COD games.

CoD4 has a short SP but the MP blows Crysis's MP out of the water, for now I'd go for CoD4(its so good i have it both for my PC and my Xbox)
EDIT: The CoD4 SP, although short, is amazing as well

I don't understand what's supposed to be so great about Crysis, but CoD4 is awesome.
GFX - Great
Sounds - Great
Music - Beyond Great (USSR!)
Gameplay - Great
Interface - Good

Crysis is the new "stress test" video game. It has the best graphics, bar-none.
My computer which is only 2 months old and has a quad-core processor and 8800GTS gfx card can only run Crysis @ 20fps on Medium settings, whereas I can run CoD4 on Full settings @ 60-80fps.

Crysis singleplayer beats out COD4 easily, however COD4 multiplayer is far superior imho.

But graphics don't necessarily make a good game, even with a genre as one dimensional as fps...
if you tend to be someone who spends alot of time in multi player you should get CoD, the developers of CoD have enough experience on balancing the game and in MP in general. the singleplayer was decent in all CoD's, it might be short but ist still very enjoable.
Crysis has the best graphics, best physics and best effects, awesome AI, ... hands down. but it's essential that you can run Crysis on max settings to fully enjoy the game and get the full experience. the multiplayer is nothing major in Crysis, it was expected tho. the game is based upon single player and the multi player part is a nice addition.
depending on what you like, rather futuristic gameplay or the "real" thing. that nano suit idea from Crysis makes you have various possibilities in single player but the real battle scenarios from CoD have their charm too.
so in short, CoD4 can't reach up to Crysis in terms of graphic and physics. but CoD kicks back with an awesome multiplayer part with lots of innovations.
single or multi, you choose, it's your call.

I've only played the demo of Crysis and it was decent.
I've got a copy of Call Of Duty 4, and its good. Its not just your average FPS game, you have to complete objectives and the missions were quite intensifying. Crysis has better graphics, but COD4 had better gameplay in my opinion. At least I could max out everything on COD4 unlike Crysis.
So I suggest COD4.
ofc it's not average, cod always puts you in the situation of the standard infantryman, you're never the leader of your squad, you're part of a team. in most fps you're alone.

I really enjoyed that mission where you had to play as Captain Price and Captain McMillian was your superior. The stealth tactic was one of the highlights of the mission.
I'm stuck at the last mission, where the bit your in the truck and you have to shot down the other trucks. When that helicopter hind comes and attack you and the car goes sheltering under some tunnel, I can't advance from there. Any suggestions?

Climb the collapsing bridge, you have to fend off some guys for a short time, then everyone gets killed but you and captain price and your on the ground unable to get up so he slides you a pistol and you have to shoot three guys and then you win.
And then you get a fun little bonus mission where your in a flying plane.

The problem is the car just stays there and I can't even move and even though when I fired the RPG rocket at the hind it always misses.
I don't see any collapsing bridge too. When the car enters the tunnel it stays there which is strange.

I never shot the hind either, after the tunnel (maybe a little farther) a bridge will blow as your crossing it and you have to get abandon the vehicle, as the bridge collapses. Well thats how it happened when i played. >.>
Basically just stay alive, doesn't matter if you hit the chopper. The RPG's are horribly inaccurate it's almost impossible anyways.
