Club Bleach SS Gotei 13

Club Bleach is going to implement a new system soon. One that emulates the Soul Society Gotei 13. Members will be able to join any division except the 1st, which will be admin only. The Captains and Vice Captains for each of the divisions have already been determined. The rest of the seats are currently available.

Captains and Vice Captains will select 8 members to be seated officers, and at least an additional 10 non seated members for each division. The exact number of non seated members will determined at a later date. The current divisions are as follows:


1st Division:

VC: Nite

3rd Division:
Captain: Sandal Hat

4th Division:
Captain: Lunar
VC: Pipp-ORK

5th Division:

A number of the finer details are still being worked out at the time of this announcement, but this thread will be updated as more information becomes available.

We can do a GFX Battle... where each division create a Sig/banner of their own division themed on something like Thanksgiving/Christmas. Then whoever has the highest votes win. You cannot vote your own Division's GFX sig/banner and the winner get some kind of special GFX banner award or something heh.

We can do... Tetris Battle using Tetrinet2! Its free and I believe at least everyone played tetris at least once in their lives =P. We can do a FFA, 2v2v2, or 3v3 :).

No one did. Only those who were involved directly knew about it. Even the Vice Captains found out about it after the fact. It's been in the works for quite some time, and only now is coming to light on the forums due to circumstances that belittle the purposes of this project. (No names)

So much for people paying attention to Jinchuu's request of only posting once, some people just don't read things fully, or pay little attention to it after having read something. =/

I've been formulating an idea, I'll edit it in once I've written it up and figured some details out. >_<

The votes for the seats will take place once the 10+ members have joined a Division. Then the Division must vote for seats 3-10.

I'm guessing the Division can coordinate the voting themselves.

I was thinking that the Captain and VC can nominate members for Chair positions, then the rest of the members vote. However, there might need to be a little more members before that sort of voting can take place.

True but it says on the first page that 8 will be chosen as seated positions in each Division and 10 non seated members so wouldn't they stop allowing people to join that Division after 18 people??? I'm really not sure if that's how they're going to do it but that's my understanding of it.

because of of the seniority of some other members, i doubt i will make you my VC, but i would be more than happy to have you in my division. once a VC has been chosen, my vc and i will take all the applications and go thru them, yours will go thru, that is... if you want to be part of the 9th div.

I'm getting fairly bogged down by all the 1337 flash skills cropping up in the banners. o.o

I've been working on how to apply this to my own, and so far, no such luck. =/

I like the relevant colour technique used for your 9th Divsion possible banner, very Tousenlike, in darkness and all that jazz. The flash work is a skill, without a doubt.

As for any usefull application for the idea behind the Division project: Applying specific jobs to seated members could be a worthwhile idea. It would take away from what the Captain and Vice will eventually have to do.

Once things are set up and stable, things such as:

Member recruitment or advertising.

Information hunter - Anyone with queries have them answered.

Release watcher - Keeps tabs on the latest releases of the anime / manga, to provide the updates where required for the specified forum.

Organiser / Secretary - Find out and organise when best suits everyone to meet for discussions.

The only problem is that then you end up with one division being full of people who want to be in it, hence more participation and activity, then another division full of people who dont want to be in it but are in it because A) it was the only division that isnt full or B) they were automaticaly assigned to it.

Technically that is correct, but the list for 6th Divison was just sent to all the members and there was only around 5-6 not including the Captain and Vice Captain so is that really considered a lot....maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way because I haven't seen the other lits...

I think a RPG thing would be great. I tried to enter the other bleach rp's but they are too hard to get into since they already have so many rules. i like to start from the beggining with everyone at the same lvl as me.

The first Division is made up of only Administrators, and will have only the Administrators in it.

I think I recieved you pm whilst the cp database was defunkt, I don't check my PM's until I have carried out necessary duties in the Bleach Anime section, and taken a moment or two to myself to have a scan around the forums and check on anything that might interest me.

1. Darren doesn't go on til late at night (I just told him to get a VC that can get on when he's not on)
2. He's looking for VCs that are Senior members in CB.
3. Good qualities, like I myself specialize in sig making and such. So what can you do?

Stryder, the number of "skulls" you have under your avatar and username doesn't have any bearing what so ever.

There was a member here who was only here for a month or so before being remanded and excluded, who had 5 if not 6 of those icons, and he was a big time spammer, so he would not have been considered simply because he had a lot of those skulls.

Darren explained on the page previous to your post why it that he hasn't PM'd anyone back yet: this is because he hasn't decided on a Vice Captain as of yet. Once he decides on a Vice Captain, he will then in turn get back in touch with all the applicants, deciding between himself and his Vice who will become members.

As Arakawa has explained, Darren is looking for people who are not brand new to the site, have knowledge of the forums, the way things run (or at least an idea) preferrably more senior members of the forums, (This does not mean someone with 1000 + posts, merely someone who has been with the site long enough to know the way things operate.) and someone who will not only be highly active, but has skills or abilities that can be of use for the position applied for.

I think there are, including the captain and vice captain, 5-6 people in the 5th squad, i may be wrong though. Our captain isn't on that much, so I don't know for sure.....

Can the Captains or Vice-Captains post their member's list so we are all in the clear on how many more people we need? I talked to the VC(i believe) of the 12th division and 13th division. They seem to have 6-7 people already.

SmallKid- Be patient with your acception. In all likelihoods(one word or two work? lol), you will get accepted. But seeing how the site went down last night, A2k probably has a lot of PM's and other stuff to do before even considering looking at the applications. So if you don't get your response right away, it's natural. Gotta be patient. ^^

Just a question it is said in the "division rules" thred thet a 1 out of 4 newly joind member will be promoted into seated officers every week. Will there then not be a limit to the amout of seated officers or will the amount increase to no end? like after 10 weekt it will be 10 seated and after 20 there will be 20 officers. Will it continue so until all forum member are have joined?

There is a thing going on in the REAL Gotei 13.
They have ranks and all that good stuff, and we're simulating that.
For 3 weeks there will be voting within the division to see who will get
3rd Seat, 4th Seat, or 5th seat (I think it goes to 5 i dunno)

I'm not sure what exactly you mean. If you mean that if the captain chooses the people to recruit as members or you have to apply. The answer is you apply with the required information they ask for. If you mean if they choose seated members or if you apply for a seat, its neither. All members of the division will vote who they would like to have a seat. Hope that answers your question.

Well not really, what i asked for is related what is stated in "division rules" thread. That ther will be a vote every week where 1 out of for 4 members are candidates for promotion.

No, Zanpakotu's aren't part fo the plan, or at least not to my knowledge. There's been nothing of the sort on the thread, or in the staff forums discussing the matter.

A division can only recruit 4 members per week is what I hear. Since a lot of division(including ours) already have 4 members, additional applicants will have to wait till next week to be accepted. But some divisions I've noticed have like 8 ppl.

I think the way they are working that is that all are accepted, however only those 4 selected are becoming official members, or perhaps there's something I'm overlooking.

Either way, as and when I read the rules, it stated 4 members per week, and regardless of what each other Division is doing, Bleach Addict and I are sticking to 4 applicants per week.
