About what recently happened with Chad in the last chapter I think he will be determined to be able to help Ichigo in any situation without him thinking that he is in the way. What are your thoughts?
i think he and orhime will be obtaining new powers or a big powerup soon.
nah...i am convinced he is now scared....he will be running home to cower in his nest and then very soon, ichigo will meet him and they would have a talk, Urahara will answer ichigo plea and let him train in his place....
i wonder now is that will he remain human or maybe he will become a shinigami instead...?
maybe he will gain some kinda powerup as a powerful backup with explosive power.
i say, the possiblity of him teaming up with ishida should be a pleasant surprise.
they seem to have something in common

I see a power upgrade too but I wonder how it will manifest. Will he go find someone to help train him or will he take it upon hiself to get stonger like Ishida and will his body evolve when he gets stronger?

doubt there wouuld be an upgrade.. he cant be stronger than captains..which is necessary to be competitive with everyone else
Well... it strikes me as odd that one lop-sided arm boost would be the extent of his spiritual power...
As to just how strong he will get, I really wouldn't know.... but I'm thinking that arm is just the first incarnation of a full-body armor...

In all honosty, chad is probibly one of my favorite characters in the series. He seems like hes a rather mysterous guy, with what seems to be a great power hidden within him. Im willing to bet that once he stops thinking so negative and learns to harness his power, that he will be as strong as say a weaker captain or a vice. I remember in the series where shunsui says how he would of been almost destroyed if he didnt dodge his attack. So saying he couldnt have the power of a captain seems kind of wrong to me, i mean if he could control his movement better or got some new moves besides a super powerful punch like attack, he would easily become one of the strongest characters in the bleach series. I guess thats why i like him so much as it seems like theres alot that could be done with him.

well i don't mean that it's impossible for him to have to strength level of a captain.. because it took ichigo 3 days to do it.. and that was supposed to be unique.. if chad and orihime can do it too as well as ishida wouldn't you think that its a bit overkill considering that there are under 15 known people that are of that strength in ALL of SS, considering that it's thousands of years old?

we don't actually know how long Soul Society existed - EDIT: here came a long post about the Origins of soul society, but i decided to make a new topic from it - anyway the the two oldest captains besides Yama-jii are Ukitaka and Shounshi (sp?), and i think they are 2, 3 thousand years old tops. i could be wrong though.... not that much of a basis to compare about... and besides, Ichigo is radioactive as hell. not to mention Chad might have some strange origin, if that medallion isnt as innocent as it seems.
I too believe that chad's freakish arm is just the begining, if not for a full body armor then at least a shield to his right arm

2 thousand years tops but realize that thats not really a feasible number cuz byakuya is over a thousand years old.. probably closer to 2 since he trained his ban kai for that long to get his sei kei form

I like what you said about the medallion that idea havent even cross my mind but it makes sense. I guess we'll find out if it is important or not.

hmm on the note on full body armor.. that could be it.. he might not get taht much stronger but he might just have a very very strong defensive shielding

Byakuya's over a thousand years old? I thinki Chad'll get something more but I doubt he'll get a full body armor thing...
lets talk orhime now......i really like her and her powers. if i had to choose between who will probably get new powers or a power upgrade, it would be orhime. there has been some hints throughout the series that her powers are unusual but she really hasn't shown anything unusual yet. her slicing fairy dude can be very strong if she has the will to fight which im guessing she will get when she is forced to protect tatsuki or w.e.

yea byaukya is way over a thousand years old.. took him 1000 years to train that one move.. hes probably in the 2000s.. maybe even more since he could have been a no body before he was a captain
and the full armor thing for chad is because it doesnt seem logical for him to get to the strength of a captain.

Rukia is not of noble blood. She isn't even supposed to be in the Kuchiki clan. That was only becauseof Hisana's last wish. Kuchiki was born into nobility. Also Yourichi knew him when he was a boy. Not I dougt that nobles like Yourchi were even allowed to play with just anybody.

As seen in the last chapter... if anyone is getting a power (up?) is Keigo... I just can't picture him with spiritual powers...
i hate keigo....why is he getting powers? he has no important signifigance in the story....die Keigo, and die Hinamori because i just hate her...

I actually though that he meant that he WOULDNT have Ichigos back anymore
