I was just thinking of starting a thread where we could list stuff and try to figure out a length of time for SS.. so we can kind of try to figure out how old SS is and what not

so people.. care to post any info you have on length of times.. ages of shinigami and such?

i guess you're right, but yamaji in anime said, that kyoraku and this scond taichou were one of the first taichous (as i remember). It means, that seirei-something alone is only few hundrt years old. I think such informations would be interesting.

I think time moves the same. Just that people age much, much slower.

Ichimaru and Rangiku should be around the same age...and Ichimaru became Captain not long after Byakuya - if I remember correctly.

MelodyMix: But what it basically says is, because the Hougyoku was a dangerous substance Kisuke decided to hide it somewhere, and that somewhere was in Rukia’s soul. And after a few years when Rukia came to the human world and gave Ichigo her power Kisuke took that opportunity to destroy the Hougyoku for good by giving Rukia a “special gigai” and turning her into a human. Because the Hougyoku was hid inside Rukia’s soul, as her Shinigami powers disappeared at the same time the Hougyoku will disappear as well, turning her into a human.

Nothing written about when Kisuke hid the Hougyoku inside Rukia or why he chose her. But VIBEs just proved the Hougyoku was inside Rukia before she met Ichigo and gave her power to him.


Now that that's settled, let's not discuss this ever again. >__>b

look at the dates. they add up, it's not hard to figure out that the minus chapters don't refllect years.

rukia joined the gotei 13 when she was adopted into the kuchiki house, when hisana died. so that was all around 50 years ago.

renji became a vice captain only now (chapter 000) and has been 'training' for 40 years. the 10 years are around about his time in the academy.

rukia is also 150 remeber...

and chapter -17 covered the first 2 months after they started the academy.

in chapter -108, shunsui called unohana senpai. meaning she is his superior. she must've been a captain b4 even him. yamamoto just said that shunsui and ukitake where the first captains born from the shinigami academy, not the first captains ever.

ukitake also said that besides himself, ukitake, yamamoto and unohana, there were no captains from 100 years b4 that, so shinji, love and kensei must've become captains within thelast 50-100 years b4 then.

and the dates arn't random, i wrote where i got them from so saying time is slower doesn't mean anything since the manga stated the dates. ones that i can't find dates for i made educated guesses based on other dates.

Arturo Plateado was not in the manga. He was designed specifically for the Bleach Wii: Shattered Blade game. You can hear his story once you get to fight him and he tells you that he was sealed in the sokyoku 2000 years before the Bleach storyline.

He was designed by a joint effort of Sega and Kubo Tite.

WOW, I believe the correct word existed. Anyways he's absolutely correct, since there is a god in that world, obviously he made them both, or maybe since souls can be born there. He made Soul Scociety first? Like how heaven, has supposly always been there? So has earth, but it didn't have any form, no life forms on it? Until god and his awesome powers gave the planet earth form. But enough getting off topic.
