The Earl's Dining Room

"Heck, eck eck eck.." the Earl started to chuckle as all of his Noah guests came to room.

"Welcome, welcome my wonderful Noah family, how are all of you today?" he looked around to see everyone's faces while sitting down.

"We have a very important matter to discuss here. It's about those presistant little Exorcists who are trying to find the Innocence Heart." folding his hands on the table he then continued with his meeting.

"If the Exorcists somehow get the Heart Innocence, that would be very troublesome for all of us. So I will be sending you, my dear Noah family, to try and go exterminate those pesky Exorcists." reaching for his wine glass he quickly sipped a little bit.

"You may go take as many Akumas as you want, it doesn't matter to me. They're on their way to Germany right now, so why won't you guys give them a nice warm...greetings...Aheheheehee" the Earl started to laugh, following with the other Noahs laughing.

"If you have anything you want to say, or concerns, then please do say." putting a big smile on him, he quietly waited for a response.

"So is that it Uncle E?" Nicholas said. He laid back on his chair, playing with a bubble of water suspended above him. Nicholas would freeze the water, then melt it, freeze it again, and melt it again. "Just get the Heart innocent and come back out. Seems simple enough. Don't think I'll need any akuma. I can take care of silly exorcists easily by myself thank you very much. "

Nicholas continued playing with his water, eye'ing the rest of the Noah members carefully. Though he had known some of them for near 11 years, he is still uneasy about certain others, like that french guy sitting right next to him.

I slowly walked up to the chair assigned to me on ever so infamous dining table that fatass often lead us to. I use the term "us" very loosely here though, I can't think of myself being grouped with those guys. To think that they're my "relatives".

My chair was the second to the Earl's left, with that Nicholas boy to my right. His outer appearance proved him to be in command of a decent bulk of cash, probably some hotel tycoon or something. Blind he maybe, but behind this guy's awkward smile was something that even made me a little uneasy. Nonetheless, he was the first person I met in this hell-hole, making him effectively the person I talk to the most; not that I talk much anyway.

I quietly listened to the Earl as he talked about sending someone to Germany to retrieve an innocence. I raised my feet up on the table such that my shoes' soles pointed to that Constantine's face in an attempt to irritate him.

"Try you say... Heh, just who do you think I am?"

I reached out for a cigarette from my pocket, and a candlestick with a flickering wax candle on top of it to light my joint.

Germany, eh? This will be a cinch.

[Ryuzaki]

"Aheheehe, that is just like you Nicholas, that's why I'm letting you do anything you want."

"Thank you Uncle E. I'm happy that you know how good I just am." Nicholas put a cocky grin on his face.

"Aww Xavier, your attitude has never ceased to amuse me. folding his hands on the table he continued, "If you don't want to use any Akumas my dear Noahs then you don't need to. They are just there for your use and enjoyment that's all."

Looking at Nicholas and Xavier, he took another sip of his red wine.

"Yes this should be a cinch, especially for you two. You can leave whenever you wish, it's no big deal."

I walked down the hallway, and went through the doors slowly, acting as if I knew everyone in my family already.

"Why hello, hello Constantine, I'm so glad that you could make it to our meeting on time." the Earl said happily.

"Thank you uncle Earl." I bowed kindly,"I'm glad to have made it here."

"Please take a seat anywhere you want to my dear Constantine. We have mportant matters to discuss."

"We already did, it's no big deal." Xavier said sarcastically.

"Yeah I already heard about the problem from one of your Akuma. So what do you want me to do about this uncle Earl?" taking a glass of green tea from one of the Earls Akuma servants.

"Anything you wan Constantine, I believe you will get the job done just fine." folding his hands as he said it so formal.

"I'll be on way then, sorry for the quick visit. And I'll let you know how it went." walking off through the doors I gave a quick wave to everyone. This should be pretty fun, I'll just play with them for a little and it will all be over, ahahahaa.

"O and before I forget, there is another little problem I have." The Earl smiled.

“Edrial, my dear Noah, I want you to go to the Exorcists who are heading towards the Netherlands and disrupt their plans for me please. It shouldn’t take to long for you to do this all by yourself, but you can still take my Akuma pets if you want to Aheeehee.”

“Yes go there at once Edrial Lero!”

“So what do you say, will you go for?”

[Midare]

Leiko was sitting there watching as the meeting kept going she didn't said a word, and the rest of the Noah barely acknowleged her presence... not that she cared about being noticed by such people.

"Is this old man ever sending me in a mission or what?.... I haven't killed an exorcist in days, and I'm getting bored of not doing so. But I won't beg" - She thought.

She fixed her deep eyes on the Earl and in that smile of his that, with all these years, she started to find disgusting. While drinking her usual sake, she was thinking on a way of asking about take this mission but, of course, it shouldn't look as she was begging, because she wasn't. She was just... bored.

Before Adriel has the chance to speak, she finally said: "Well..." and The Earl looked at her. "If you don't mind I could take care of that mission."
She grinned mischievously, looking directly to the Earl, with the glass of sake close to her lips.

"But is up to you... my dear Earl of Millenium"

[Ryuzaki]

"Ooo, why didn't you say so sooner my dear Leiko, ofcourse you can go on the mission, ahehee." the Earl laughed with his big grin on his face.

"You know what to do, right Leiko? You may do whatever you wish with the Exorcists on there way to the Netherlands."

"Yes my Earl." Leiko replied with a smile.

"Good, good! Now you can go whenever you want. And take my Akuma if you want to, but I don't think you'll need them."

"I'm sure my smile seems so fake now.... but I don't care" Leiko thought while nodding, almost obediently.

"You're right, I might not need them, but I'll probably take some Akuma with me..." she said and in her mind she kept talking "... and sacrifice them if necessary"

"Then... I'm leaving", with no further words she stood and walked away from the table, leaving the dinning room.

Walking through the doors Chris saw that the Earl was once again doing Roads homework, and with his bandana too.

"An Akuma, oi hi there, welcome." The Earl said to Chris while writing down Road’s homework.

"Hello Earl-sama, I was wondering if you ned me for anything in particular right now. I wish to help you any way I can." Chris smiled at the Earl.

"Hmmm, now that I think of it, you can go on ahead to Germany, maybe then you can help out with the search for the Innocence. How about it." he stared at Chris with his big grin as usual.

"Sure, I will do it, Earl-sama. I'll leave right now as a matter of fact."

"Good, good... and tell the Noah there if you see them that our next stage of attack is on it's way. You can be my personal messenger this time my lovely Akuma." The Earl looked delighted after saying that, while still writing down Roads homework.

"Uncle Earl look at my homework!!" Road yelled at the Earl putting her hands on the table.

"Oi sorry, sorry, I was still writing your homework Road. You'll get an A for sure!" Road put on a big smile to the Earl with satisfaction.

"I'll be off now then..." Chris walked out of the room and went on his way to Germany.

Gabriel

I had heard some of the family talking in the dining room from the Library and after he had set down his book he went to investigate. Just as I was about to walk into the Dining room Leiko walked through it with a look of Fulfillment on her face, Frowning ever so slightly I then continued into the dining room and noticed the few others already sitting down at the table focused on the Earl.

Nodding to the group in general I chose the seat furthest away from everyone and leaning my head back I closed my eyes and listened to the talk in the Room after all Information was precious and the more I had the more chance that I wouldn't have anything strenuous to do.

The Earl continued doing Roads homework for her, and everybody stood silent either reading a book or quietly drinking tea. The Earl stopped for a second with her homework and scanned his eyes down the table until they were fixed on Gabriel, who looked as if he was sleeping.

"O Gabriel." Gabriel slowly opened his eyes, "I didn't even notice you coming in here since you were so quiet, is something wrong my Noah family descendent?" Looking at Gabriel with his big grin, he continue again doing Roads homework.

"Not really, I'm just wondering if there is anything you want me to do."

"Want you to do you ask? Well..." The Earl paused for a second, "There is something you can do for me, and your Noah family members." Gabriel stood up straight in his chair trying to listen to the Earl's words.

"Can you go to Germany? It seems that the other Noah are taking their time finishing their job, can you speed things up there please?" The Earl grinned happily.

[Ai]

Standing Up Gabriel nodded slightly in deference to the earl and mumbled a reply which he had no intention of sounding certain whichever way the Earl wanted to take it. Turning around Gabriel wandered out of the room and back down towards the library.

"Oi, we're back from the mission Earl." I said while looking a Road who was still doing her math homework.

"You know that mission was a wild goose chase, right Uncle Earl?" I laughed a little at what I just said.

"Yeah, it did turn out to be a like that, didn't it... well it doesn't matter, as I am planning my next moves to find that Heart and destroy all of the Innocence. Isn't that right, Road." The Earl said in his pleasant voice towards Road who just nodded back.

"I see... well, I mind as well stay here then. Let me know when you need me to go back to the living world, okay Uncle Earl?" Finally being able to sit down in my seat, I grabbed a cup of green tea from one of the Akuma servants and started reading one of the random books I grabbed from the library.

"My Noah family, it's time that we moved on to the next phase. Constantine is already at London taking car of things, so it's now your time to show the Exorcists what it means to defy us." Taking a sip of his wine he turned to Leiko, "Leiko my dear. Can you please go to Greece? It seems that some Exorcists are trying to find clues to where that General Cross is, so we need to destroy any evidence before they get their hands on it."

"Yes, ofcourse Uncle Earl, I'll get right on it." Leiko replied to the Earl while standing out of her seat ready to head off.

"Good good...And Xavier, I need to you to go to London and meet with Constantine. That Broker has been producing so many Akuma, and it would be a shame to lose him." The Earl then turned to Nicholas who was sitting across from Xavier, "And Nicholas, I'd liek you to go to Poland to meet up with another group of Exorcists who are also searching for clues... Can you do this for me?"

"Ofcourse he an Uncle E!" Road interrupted him and grabbed his coat.

"Oooo, your so cute Road, aheheee." Anyways, Gabriel. Where do you want to go? I'll let you go anywhere that you'd like." Road continued to tug on his shirt trying to get his attention.

[Midare]

"I can't belive I've just called the old-man 'Uncle'" Leiko thought

"Well... -she said while stading out of her chair-... then I'm heading off to Greece, huh?"

"Yes, my dear Leiko", replied the Earl.

With this, Leiko left the dinning room. "I won't lose to those exorcist this time... for sure"

Sitting in his room with lots of phones resting on several boxes in the vicinity, the Earl awaited the return of the last of his family members, Dies. With a polite knock, the slender man opened the door letting in light to the gloomy old room the Earl was in.

"Ooooh! Dies. How was your vacation? I certainly hope you enjoyed it. If you're looking for your family, they're all out on missions except for Gabriel here. Would you be interested in joining up with them in London? You know they'd be delighted to see you after being away from them for so long <insert heart>."

((By here I meant in the bloody Earl's place. The library is still part of his mansion =P)).

Dies stepped gently into the gloomy room, not bothering to give his eyes time to adjust. Instead, he pulled out a small packet of potato chips from his pocket and began to throw them into his mouth one after the other. His gaze wondered over the Earl, still finding his appearance slightly comical after all this time. Dies threw himself into a chair, causing the cushions to explode in a shower of dust.

"Oh, it was alright. So- so. I have some more jokes for you though!"

Before the earl could object, Dies had put his food on the table and began talking.

"Why did the toilet roll go down the hill? TO GET TO THE BOTTOM HA HA ha..."

Dies looked upon the Earl's unimpressed face, and decided that more jokes would not be a good idea. Instead, he considered the Earl's suggestion in silence.

"Well if Gabriel is here he's probably got his head in books, and you know i find that utterly boring. Unless the books are funny, which i doubt. So i imagine i can find my way over to London somehow."

With a slight gleam in his eyes, he clicked his fingers and the space around him blurred. He took his crisps from the table and pushed them inside the space, causing them to dissapear. Dies clicked his fingers again and reality returned to normal.

Then he stood up, turning around on his heel, and left the dining room.

The door creaked open like an old grandma as Dies crouched through it. There was a slight squeel to his right, and a ball of white fluff hit Dies in the face, causing him to fall flat on his back on the Earls (rather comfortable) carpet.

" Diesss! ♥ ♥ ♥ "

Kujaku stood up, walking off Dies' face, taking care to step on his nose as he did so. There was an indiscriminate cough from the end of the room, and Dies stood up, facing the Earl.

"Well, we completed the mission, of sorts. Xavier or Gabriel will be able to give you more details."

The Earl nodded, scorning. He pointed to a nearly-empty plate on his table, with many cheese crumbs lining the edges.

"Good to hear, but you really must take your little pet with you next time you go out - he goes through my food like a hot knife through butter. "

Dies looked down at Kujaku, and the akuma looked up at him with puppy dog "I didn't do anything and the Earl is just a mean old man" eyes.

Dies grinned, he knew about Kujaku's large appetite.

"No problem. And on that subject, where do you want us to go now?"

[Z_Blitz]

"My beloved family, hehehe..."

The round piece of meat and more meat sat down on his long wooden chair. His eyes meeting the eyes of the rest of his family members all looking at him with interest, save Gabriel of course who was too busy with his book.

"In front of each of you is a card with the name of someone that you absolutely have to get rid off for our plan to run smoothly. The fate of the ark is dependant on your success~"

Oh shut it old man. Now, let's see my card...

"Also, Gabriel, your card says "Joker". You're free to pick any target of your liking that isn't one of your cousins' targets. Now... Pull your cards please~"

I flipped my card out in the open, revealing it to everyone at the table.

"The Knave of Diamonds... What is this? A joke?"

The Earl "ho ho ho-ed" at the card that I drew. He stroked his palm gently across the picture of the diamond in the center. The diamond shattered into several other diamonds implying well to me the person who I am to kill.

"And the destination?"

"Lebanon, hehe. Also, make sure you travel in teams for this mission~. You know how much I care for your safety~. Let's see now... Constantine and Dies can go together, Nicholas and Xavier in another team~."

"Why should I be paired with Nicholas?"

"Because Xavier my dear, you are a mischief-loving man who longs to defy my orders. What better way to spank the "rebellious" than pair him with the "favourite"?"

"Stop assigning me names like that fat man. Let's go Nicholas."

I swung the door open allowing the chance for whoever intends to follow me to do so.

"Take different routes to Lebanon please~. My akuma should greet and bow to you whenever you pass by one of them. Don't worry though, there are many to serve you~"

With that, everyone was dismissed.

"Oh, cards. I love car- NO KUJAKU, YOU CAN'T EAT IT~"

Dies grabbed into Kujaku's mouth, prising out the card. He pulled out a hankerchief and began to wipe Akuma drool from it. He threw it down onto the table, he'd look at it later.

Dies smiled gently after being assigned to Constantine. Out of all his cousins, he found hm by far the most entertaining. Gabriel was boring, Xavier rather pompous, Nicholas too strict, and Leiko was far too arrogant. He looked at Constantine over the table, flipping him the thumbs up.

Dies left the room, hanging around in the hallway to speak to Constantine. He also peered at his card, fending off Kujaku - now sitting on his head, who made another attempt to eat it.

((Eurgh, i'm choosing Flathalas then. On the basis he's the only one i've fought.))

The card was the Two of Hearts. Vivid red colour bounced into Dies' eyes, and the connection was nearly instant. The last time he'd seen red like that, it had protected an Exorcist he was about to kill. Dies poked the card into Kujaku's mouth, he swallowed it in one. This time, the exorcists whose name he'd never discovered...

...would die.

"Hehe, so you got the Exorcist Flathalas? That's a hand full of a name now isn't it?" I looked at Dies who was excited to get his first assassination assignment in a while. "I haven't bothered looking at who I must kill... it's too troublesome right now..."

"Aww, c'mon Conny, let's see what you got!" he looked at me with a big smile on his face.

"Fine, fine... but don't laugh if I get anyone weak..." turning over my card, I noticed I got the three of spades. "Hm, I do like the spades, but why three?"

"O my god! You got three people on one card right off the bat Conny!"

"Conny? O great, please not that nickname now... and I got three Exorcists!? That's quite a lot of work don't you think? Sheesh..."

"Can I read off the names for you then Constantine??"

"Sure sure, go for it... so who is my target?"

"Well, there's Dimirtri, Luke and Hei? And I have no idea who they are haha."

Rubbing my face out of grief, I took back my card and put it in my pocket. "This should be pretty fun then right? We're going to be hanging around each other for a while so let's make the best of this trip. Right Dies?

[Midare]

((*goes in childish mode* no fair Ryu.... The only exorcist I could hold a rivalry with is Hei... Leiko is still mad about that failure at the netherlands mission *kidding* XD))

Leiko stepped inside the dinning roon right when Xavier and Nicholas were leaving the place. As usual, she didn't mind about them as they didn't mind about her.

She saw as Constantine and the Old-man were talking while Dies and not saying a word, she sat down on one of the chairs, seeing that in front of that chair, there was a card.

"Hi there my dear Leiko. How was the mission? Were you able to handle that by yourself?" asked the Earl with his trademark smile in place.

"kuso o-san, of course I could handle it alone" she thought. "Yes Uncle Earl, it was quiet easy" was her reply instead.

"Hohohoho. Nice to hear that dear Leiko"

Leiko saw as one of the akuma servants to left a a bottle of sake and a cup. She served herself the clear liquid and drunk it in a single shot.

"Now my beautifull Leiko, can you see that card in front of you? Well, this is for your next mission..."
She placed the empty cup in the table and glared at the Earl. "Another mission already??" she served some more sake in her cup.

"... please, flip your card"

Leiko did as she was told and flipped the card and she saw that the card was the Two of Diamond. She showed her card to to Earl with a face that could hide her inner thoughts "What's the deal with this method?"

"So what name is here, Uncle Earl?"

((Actually... I've thought about Jean, but since I'm not sure I better finish this here by now.
btw... Z forgot about me in his post... am I going alone... again? :p))

((Lol, maybe you can go with Gabriel if he decides to go at some point. Or you can tag along with Dies and I, we wouldn't mind, right Dies. :p))

"So who did you get Leiko? Not going to tell us eh? Fine with me, I'm heading on to Lebanon right now anyways." I glared at Dies who was grabbing the last piece of cake, "Come on Dies, let's get this show on the road." he stuffed the whole piece of cake in his mouth.

"Yes Cons-" he started to choke on the piece of cake he ate and finally managed to swallow it after chugging some milk to get it down his throat.

"Ummm, alright then... we're off! If anyone wants to follow, then you can meet us there. I don't know exactly where we're heading to, but we'll go somewhere, haha." With that, Dies and I headed out of the Dining room waving goodbye to the Earl, Road, Tyki and the other Noah.

"Hey Constantine what this!?" Dies yelled out to me in amazement.

"What's wha-?" I turned around to meet a cream filled pie in face, meant to be a humorous joke by Dies. He started to crack up uncontrollably on the floor after I fell for his trick. "Whhyyyy yooouu...... I'll get you for this Dies!!" I yelled at him as we were heading off into the portal that lead to Lebanon's main strong hold.

"Kukuku ~ "

Dies grabbed Constantine before he stepped through the portal.

"Just one thing. Don't die on me."

For a second, Dies stared directly into the other Noah's eyes, serious, and for a second, caring. Then he released his grip and let Constantine step through the portal, before stepping through himself. Kujaku grabbed onto his shirt as they walked through, letting himself be sucked through the screech with a


"WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

[Ai]

Gabriel fingered the Joker card lying in his hand and brielfy entertained the thought of choosing one of his "Cousins" but then dismissed it as folly..Too much work really.

Looking around he noted the leavings of the others and then he himself stood, Pushing past Leiko who had stood up after downing her drink..

Little sisters, Bothersome really...

He thought before doing a quick sprint and leaping through the portal after Dies...Duty was so tiring sometimes...

@Ai: btw... I was sitting at the table right now, not standing, but that's a small detail :p))

"So, Uncle Earl? what's the name?" Leiko said to the man smiling in front of her while showing to him the card while Constantine, and Dies were leaving the room crossing the portal.

"The name's Jean Montreal, my dear Leiko"

"Jean.... why I'm sure I've heard that name before?... well, I don't care since is an exorcist" She said to herself while drinking some more of her sake and, after that, she stood.

"Then.... I'm heading out now" she turned around, when Gabriel pushed past her. Leiko frowned and glared at him "who do you think you're pushing?, boke". With no words she looked as he went trought the portal.

Some seconds after he was gone, Leiko walked into the portal with the name of that insignificant exorcist in mind.-

The Earl is sitting in the dining room by himself when Edrial manifests from a dark corner of the room. Edrial walks forward, a smile present on his face as always.

"Ah Edrial, I thought you had disappeared on me."

"My apologies of course, but the Black Phoenix doesn't run itself and it was a nightmare trying to get Cynthia to cover the work."

"Indeed."

Edrial leans against the wall placing his foot against it, looking at the Earl.

"So, what is there I can do for you? I'm in need of a little, entertainment."

[Ryuzaki]

"O my dear Edrial, it's okay that you were absent from us for a while." The Earl had his trademark smile on him.

"And I do have a mission that I want you to attend as soon as possible. Think you can make it?" Edrial nodded at the Earl and continued to listen to what he had to tell him. "You will be going to Lebanon with most of the Noah who are already there. I want you to kill this Exorcist on this card that I give you and help with the other clean up while in Lebanon." He tossed Edrial his card and waited to see what he would do.

((You can have anyone on your card Edrial, as long as none of the other Noah have taken the name. :)))

[Novoxis]

Edrial swiped to grab the card out of midair and looked at it. There was nothing at all strange about this card. Or so he thought. His eyes widening he tosses the card down in such a way that it embeds itself in the table.

"I see," Edrial looks at his hand and shakes it off. "I will be swift with my judgement, unless its more than I expect though I won't hold out any hope."

Edrial turns on his heel and walks towards the door of the room. Placing his hand on the door he looks back with a smile.

"If Cynthia does happen to come by if you could sned her on to me that would be great. Until later then Earl."

With that Edrial vanishes out the door, the two of hearts embedded in the table bursting into flames and turning to ash.

((After Fade, Before the Earl brings back Rave.))

Dies crept into the Earl's room to find not the fatman, but Road, sitting in the large seat at the end of the table. She had her feet, (with those stupidly oversized boots) slung up on the wood. She was scribbling in some books, but looked up when Dies came in. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously.

"Stll alive then?"

Dies didn't bother to sit, but came into the light of the flickering candles- Road's, that littered the room. Then she noted his new attire. A thick black T-shirt with a high collar, and blue three-qaurter shorts. Around his legs and arms were wrapped many bandages, these stopped at his hands and feet.

":O"

Dies glanced up at Road. He found her quite annoying...

"And you want...? Where's the Earl?"

Road smiled sinisterly. "Oh, he's gone to Tripoli. Something about a new test subject. I suppose you want to know how you're still alive?"

She swung her feet off the table, leaping onto the ground. She was a good foot smaller than Dies, though Dies himself would be the first to admit she was far more dangerous. She crept up to him, and Dies stepped back.

"That's close enough."

"Huff."

Road crossed her arms with a "not-amused" expression on her face.

"You're not the only one who gets bored."

"Don't you have homework to do? If so, then leave me alone. If you don't, you can tell me about what's happened."

"You were lucky."

"I was born lucky."

She unfolded her arms and began to pace around the room, finally settling in the Earl's chair once more.

"When you were ripped into another dimension as the result of your ability, it just so happened that it was a dimension under Uncle E's control. Like i said, you got lucky. It won't happen again."

Dies grinned. Road was flustered. Didn't want to see him alive, perhaps?

"Thanks kiddo."

Dies left the room, slamming the door shut and locking it from the outside, ignoring Road's protests.

Gabriel entered the dining room, He had unlocked it several minutes after Dies had muttered something about luck..Walking inside he had encountered a annoyed Road who was just about to Smash the door to pieces with a chair...Calming her down had been just about as entertaining as meeting with the General he thought amusingly.

Now sitting at one end of the table Road was imersing herself in whatever it was she was writing..Seated half way down the Room length table in one of the large chairs Gabriel clasped his hands together and lent his elbows on the table top in front of him as he rested his chin on top of his hands..A thoughtfull look on his face as he waited for the rest of the family to return...

Maybe one of them decided to get one of those device's He mused.

Humming, the Earl hopped all the way through his sinister corridor into the big red doors behind which the dining table was set. There he assumed his seat, on top of the table, waiting for his family members to gather.

"I see we're short Xavier~." Pointing with Lero to the second seat to his left. "That does not matter though. My dear family, I have come here to talk to you about two very vital things to our plan's success. The first: I have successfully combined an akuma into a living human being, giving it the inconsipicious look of a prosthetic claw~."

Clearly, no one was amused at the Earl's self-proclaimed great discovery.

"Perhaps it'd weigh more in the medical field. Nonetheless, I am not done yet. This human being, to whom I have implanted this seedling of hatred is none other than Xavier's wild card, Rave Pendragon. Thanks to Xavier's efforts, he was brought in here barely scathed and in perfect condition for experimentation. Oh boy, what I'd give to work on such a fine specimen like this again~."

Once more, no one was amused at the Earl's bad sense of humor.

"Oh, alright.... Moving on then. I'd like to introduce to you your most distant cousin... A long forgotten member of the Noah whose powers have come to my attention only recently."

The Noahs' eyes widened with astonishment at what the Earl said. He tilted his head leftwards to the grim darkness behind Xavier's chair and said in a melodious voice:

"Introduce yourself please~."

Even Dies didn't find the fatman funny, and Dies was the king of crap jokes. He crossed his hands behind his neck and threw his feet onto the table in a Road-esque manner. Oh yes, Road. It seemed someone - Gabriel, he was sure, had let the little pest out.

Heh.

Dies had snuck up behind her later and thrown a large brown sack over her head. She was being shipped to somewhere in Vietnam right now. Somewhere with cannibals, hopefully.

He had noted Xavier's absence, as well as the improved smell of the room.

Heh.

"Yo, Boss-man. New guys are all well and good, but when are you going to tell us exactly what we're doing? Or have you forgotten?"

Yeah, he's forgotten.

Dies swung his legs from the table.

"I'll be training if you need me. Bon appetite."

I walked through he doors after my training with Dies to see almost everyone sitting down at the table.

"Well, hello Uncle Earl.... how's things going here?"

"O not to much, you know, the regular." The Earl said cheerful as ever. "Which reminds me, Leiko, it seems as if she survived that little encounter with an Exorcist. It seems as though her spiders reformed under ground after being deeply wounded. But she is fine now, even though, I had to do a little procedure on her and "upgrade" her, aheheeh"

"Upgrade? Hm, sounds interesting. Send her my regards when you see her then... So where are we heading to now Earl?"

"O, that... well there is this one Exorcist, Rave, yes the one who I did the experiment on and the one Xavier carried over to the Black Order. Well it seems he's gone berserk and is not obeying my wonderful orders. So I would like you to kill him and get the arm back along with his Innocence. I want to experiment more if you know what I mean, aheheheeh." His grim stay emotionless as usual.

"Hmph... well I'm off then to meet this berserk. It should be fun playing with him though.." I headed out of the room and left my fellow Noah behind.

Dies had slipped in behind Constantine, and it was well-timed, it would seem. He could only presume that they'd all been too busy with the "newbie." Personally, Dies couldn't care less about him. Couldn't even be arsed to ask for his name.

As Constantine strode out, Dies made his presence known.

"I'm going with him. Has anyone seen Road? "

He bowed deeply, laughing at the plight he imagined Road finding herself in. He formed a crackling dimensional door around himself before fading into it. It shouldn't be too hard to find this... "Exorcist."

Dies would just follow the path of destruction.

Gabriel sat quietly and listened to the Earl describing the situation then watched as the others took off..Then went to sleep.

When he woke a few hours later he yawned then calmly pushing out his chair and standing up he walked up the Earl and asked him to desposit him at the Nearest highest point near the other Noah. A shining portal appeared on the floor next to himself and the Earl and as he went to fall into it the Earl snickered.

"Rave seems to be having more fun then you at the moment" these were the last words he heard before a blinding cold wind hit him full in the face...It would take him a few moments to figure out where the Earl had placed him, so He gritted his teeth and asked for his Akuma to enfold him and warm the gas's within it's "body"..He liked sleeping sure, But Hibernation was a bad option at this point.

"Hehehehe... I like how this is going..."

Everything was darkness, nothing but pure darkness, and those words that flowed trough her ears.

"But... what happened? Am I still alive? She heard her own thoughts echoing in her mind trying to understand what had happened to her, why was she seeing nothing else but darkness.
The last thing she remembered was that exorcist's face, she won't forget that face, ever. "But, that lowly exorcist... he.... killed me?? No, that can't be but.... no, then... am I alive?

She could hear more laughter and she started to remember a bit more, not images but sounds, voices. "My, my... who'd say you would end in such a way, my lovely Leiko-chan", "She's a mess-lero". She knew that voice, that disgusting voice calling her in the way she hated the most, that was The Millenium Earl's voice, no other voice could sound as irritating to her as his voice. "But, don't worry my dear Leiko-chan, I won't let you die just yet, I can't.... I still can make good use of you". She remembered that when she heard that her thoughts were: "Use me?.... Even if you are the all important Millenium Earl, you won't ever use me"
"But Earl-sama!? she cannot be saved-lero! Not after a fight like that-lero!" "Do you forget who am I?... There's nothing I cannot do". After that, she cannot remember anything else.

Besides that voice, she remembered something else: The feelings, something she thought she had lost too many years ago. She remember feeling lost and powerless just like she felt that night at Aizu. "Why am I remembering about that time, is no use to remember about that!" This didn't make sense to her at all. Why was she feeling something?, Why this darkness?... Why was she alive?. These three question were filling her head, trying to understand what had happened to her and why she can hear the Earl laughing.

Suddenly the laughter stopped and she could hear from far away someone calling "Can you hear me, my dear Leiko?". Yes, she could hear him, but why cannot she answer or it was that she didn't wanted to answer since she didn't understand why was she alive?. "Come on my lovely Leiko... I know you can hear me" the distant voice of the Earl sounded amused and, slowly, she opened her eyes. Her vision was blurred but eventually, she could focus and gradually saw the smiling face of The Millenium Earl.

"Am... I... alive?" she asked in a whisper. Leiko knew that she sounded pathetic right now but for some reason she felt too weak to even care about it and the fact that she was lying on something not much confortable, something that it felt harder than a bed. "Of course you're alive Leiko-chan" the Earl said spreading his arms.

Leiko looked away from him and said: "Don't... ever... call me... that... again" it was hard to speak, way too hard.

"Hohohoho I can see that you're the same Leiko at heart... even after the changes". She turned her head slowly to look at him again. "Changes?" She whispered.

"There, there... no need to worry. I won't ever do something bad to my lovely Leiko" The Earl said looking at her while caressing her head softly. "For the time being my dear Leiko, is better for you to rest".

"What... did he do to me?". She couldn't keept her eyes opened anymore and closed them while she heard the Earl's voice: "Yes, rest me new beautiful Leiko... you'll need it"

Gabriel walked through the door of the dining room and stopped short quickly..There spread out on the table was a sleeping Leiko...Though sowhat different though he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

Shrugging he went to his seat half way down the table and sat down..Pulling out his ever present book he started to read whilst he waited for his siblings to drag themselves back to the meeting room.

[Yamamoto]

"Hi, I'm Ruth. Nice to meet you," smiled Ruth as she gestured a little wave to the dining room.

She stopped when she found almost half of the Noah absent from the dining room. "Uhh, where is everyone?"

"You're a bit late," Tyki grinned as he put his hands under his chin.

"Nice to meet you dear.....except you were supposed to be here days before," The Earl giggled.

"My apologies dear Uncle."

"Seeing as not all are here yet, just have some fun and we'll get to you when everyone else gets here."

"Well I always wanted to go to Mt. Everest. Okay, see you later!"

Gabriel opened his eyes lazily..Leiko was still lying on the table which was somewhat annoying as it appeared to his eyes that it was the more comfortable place to sleep then in the chair he was in..Yawning he stood up and remembered the conversation he had heard between the Earl and their new sibling.

Ruth was her name wasn't it?...

He pondered thoughtfully..Shrugging he wandered over to the Earl.

"Old man, Mind dropping me off where Ruth went"
"And Why would I do that Son of mine?"
"You said she was going ot have some fun..I thought I might go watch and see if she's entertaining as a new family member or not..."
"Well in that case here"

Gesturing the Earl formed a round portal just off to the left of him..Bowing his head slightly Gabriel stepped through it and once more into an extremely cold temperature..

I swear to godd....

He thought as he set off towards the feelings of his siblings..

Gabriel stepped back into the dining room and looked at the Earl and growled as he brushed a bit of snow off his shoulder..

His new sibling had been entertaining to watch yes..But in his opinion Nicholas had more pazzaz...

Grabbing the nearest bottle off a side table which just happened to be Hard Liquor Gabriel grabbed his chair and sunk down into it with a thud as he procceded to empty the full bottle in front of him with a vengance as he waited for something fun to happen.

Leiko could hear something like a thud echoing in her ears and slowly, she didn't know how much time passed but eventually, she opened her eyes and looked at the ceiling. "For... how long had I been asleep?" She looked at her left side and saw the wall and a shelf with some candles. "This is... the dining room? Why am I here?.
Then she looked at her right and she could see a person sitting on a chair and drinking but she was unable to see clearly who it was.

She tried to sit on where she was lying and her movements were unusually slow since her body felt heavy to move. Once she was sitting, she grabbed her head, it was throbbing and it hurt and then, she felt something covering her left eye. "What is... this?" she asked in a whisper touching the fabric covering her eye.

"I can see that you're finally awake. I've been wondering for how long you'd sleep" Leiko looked at the direction the voice was coming from and then she could see that the person sitting on the chair was Gabriel. She didn't replied to him, she know that there was nothing to reply to.

Leiko managed to move her lower body to sit at the edge of the table and then she found out that she was wearing her usual red dress, but she didn't know why.

"Where's the old-man?" After all that happened to her, this was the first that she was able to say a full sentence with a tone of voice closer to the one she normally used.

"He just left... I don't know where he is now".

Leiko moved her legs, trying to reach the floor but, when she tried to stand on her feet, she felt too weak and almost dropped so she had to hold onto the table to not lose her balance.

"Are you sure that you want to go after him? I was told that you must rest" Grabiel said not even getting up from his chair. Leiko remained silent.

After a moment, she was able to stand completly, even when it was taking her a lot of energy to do this. "Well, you can do as you wish, after all that's none of my business" Gabriel laid on his chair and kept drinking the liquor.

"Kuso... he's right, I can't go any further like this but I need to know what he did to me"

Then Leiko choser to stay at the dining room, so she walked to one of the chairs at the main table when she saw a big mirror by the wall and she was able to see her reflection much to her shock. There were bandages covering her left eyes, those she felt before and plus, her arms were full of scars. "Wh-What did he do to me!?".
She closed her eyes and kept walking until she reach the main table and sat on one of the chairs waiting for the Earl and thinking about what she just saw in the mirror.

Gabriel put his head in his hands and looked at the bottle and winced..There were a few slithers of liquid left in there..

Now I remember why I don't drink often

Looking over at Leiko who was sitting in a chair opposite him looking extremely weak Gabriel in a moment of pure drunken haze decided to take pity on his sibling for once..

Looking at the small amount left in the bottle he grabbed his gaseous akuma out of his pocket and shoved it in the bottle and asked it to lessen the alchoholic content enough to make it medical..

Once this was done he slid it across the table top to Keiko's seat so that it stopped right in front of her.

"Here, Drink that it will put some iron in your legs and give you a bit of a boost..Don't worry it won't give you what i'm going to have next time I wake up.."

[Z_Blitz]

"Xavier~. I believe you haven't met your sister yet, have you?" The melodious tone of the Earl sounded from the enshrouding darkness of our dining table. I raised my head, slightly interested in what he has to say.

"No." I replied, looking at my peers. I could see Nicholas, Leiko, and Gabriel around but no other. Skin, Road and Tyki were on missions the Earl sent them while Dies, Constantine and Jasdebi hunted Road down for mischievously misplacing Dies's R-rated magazines.

"Here." Said the womanly voice emerging from the shadows. Her thin physique, white complexion, and blonde hair clearly indicated that she was European, much like myself.

"Ah. Bonsiour mademoiselle. Xavier Dupont is my name." I bowed down in respect just like how any Frenchman would've done when meeting a Frenchwoman for the first time. It was the respect that women demanded in our country.

Seating the lady next to me, I grabbed a bottle of white wine and poured her a glass. The red wine bottle was unfortunately stuck to Gabriel's mouth.

"So "brother", what is it that you have called us here for? Surely this isn't one of our family meetings now is it?"

Hopping with Lero in his hand, the Earl seated himself on top of the table where he usually sits and looked at me with a smile.

"Sharp and foul, always the Xavier I know~. Actually there is some unfinished business that I need everyone to take care of for me. I'm a little busy with all the brokers around the world you see."

Using Lero as a pointing stick, the Earl gestured us to the glowing map in the dimlit corner of the room.

"In Finland, there seems to be a case of a priest who grants his visitors supernatural powers before killing them. Some even say he's a vampire. We might be very well working on the same side here~. I need someone to diplomatically negotiate with the fellow and ask him to join our ranks. The second one's in-"

Interrupting the fat man's speech, I pushed my chair from the table resulting a loud screech, grabbed my coat from the hanger next to the exit and replied:

"Diplomacy is my specialty."

I nodded and walked out of the room, heading towards Finland.

The Earl's wide smile did not disintegrate at all after the loud screech. Ruth however, was still ringing in the ears.

"Well let's move on shall we? More vampires! This time in Southern Europe?"

Ruth raised her hand and spoke in a soft-spoken voice. "May I see to this Uncle? It could be some innocence"

"Of course, my dear. If it is, see to it please.. <3"

Ruth carefully stood up and placed her chair back, in contrast to Xavier's eye-and ear-catching exit. She then brushed her bangs back as she paraded out the door.

"I don't care for vampires much, but I always wanted to go to Southern Europe..."

[Ryuzaki]

"Hmph, I'll be going to Syria, I believe that's the country where I'll be heading off to. Doesn't it have to do with some ancient "tombstone" or something like that? I don't believe in most legends but this one seems interesting to me, that's why I'm heading out there." I stood up at the family dining room table, watching Road, Skin and the others continue to fool around at the table.

"Soo, I guess if anyone of you want to follow me... you're more than welcomed..." No one seemed to acknowledge what I was saying. "Well... I'll be heading off then..." I coughed in my fist to try to get someone's attention, but failed miserably... "Alright, I'm out of here... bye bye..."

Kujaku, in his white and fluffy Akuma form, bounced onto the side of the Earl's chair, attempting to take a bite out of Lero. The fatman was clearly displeased, attempting to prod Kujaku away with his finger.

"What.. is it.. you want...?"

Kujaku stopped nibbling for a moment, and paused with his hand on his mouth.

"Message from Dies!" He announced proudly. "He says "THAT LITTLE F*CKING MOTHERF*KING B*TCH ROAD HAS ONLY GONE AND F*CKING WALKED OFF WITH MY MOTHERF*CKING PORN MAGS. SORRY FATMAN, BUT I'M GOING TO HAVE TO TAKE LEAVE WITHOUT F*CKING PAY WHILE I TRACK DOWN MY MATERIAL."

Kujaku really was good at pronouncing the *'s, it must be said.

"I see." Said the Earl grimly, using Lero as a baseball bat to send Kujaku flying out the door.


"Hooooommmmeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrruuuuuuun! ~ <3"

Dies, and Kujaku, stepped into the dining room.

"Ah, glad to see you back in one piece, Dies, shame about the magazines, nee? <3"

The Earl fanned himself with a smug grin on his face. Dies ignored his teasing, eager to get out of the stuffy mansion.

"Hey Fatman, i notice you've sent everyone else out, do you have anything for me to do?"

"In fact, Dies, yes i do."

The Earl unravelled a rather large map of a city. On the top was written "Stockholm."

"Something *new* has been discovered by the Black Order. I want you to check it out and retrieve it. Take as many akuma as you want, you know the drill."

Dies snatched the map and walked out of the room, grinning.

[Midare]

Leiko drunk what Gabriel gave to her not saying a word, she wasn't in a position to complain or talk back to him, but she didn't say "thanks" either.

Eventually, the other Noah came to the room and so did the Earl. She watched silently as the other Noah discussed with the Earl about their respective missions and she didn't interrupted this, she was waiting for Gabriel's medicine to take some effect on her and, little by little, her body felt with more energy.

The last Noah at the room, Dies, finally left and then she glared at the Earl

"What did you do to me?"

"Not much... didn't I tell you that I'd never do something bad to my lovely Leiko?".

"You still haven't answered my question" Leiko said. She never talked this seriously to the Earl before. The Millenium Earl seemed really amused by this.

"Oi, he saved you-lero. You don't have the right to complain about Earl-sama-lero".

Leiko started at the talking umbrella with a promise in her eyes "if you keep talking, I'll throw you into the fire, ahou", Lero saw this and started to shake. "Don't interrup us you stupid..."

"There, there Leiko, that look on your face makes you lose your beauty.." With this, The Earl gained once again Leiko's attention.

"If you want to know, I just made some modifications on you and that help you gain more power"

"Modifications?? what am I? an artifact that you can change at your will!?

"But, if you want to find this out, you can go in a mission and test this new power with one of the exorcists... or with a bunch of them. But you can do that once all your energy is back, I don't want you to get hurt again"

The Earl was teasing her and she couldn't stand it but for some reason, she couldn't hide this from the Earl, she felt like something had changed inside her.

"I don't think this is the best moment to tease me, Old-man" Leiko surprised herlself with this since this was the first time she called him that in his face and it was the first time the Earl glared seriously at her and then, he got his usual expression on his face again.

"at any rate, I think is better for you to rest and then if you wish you can go to a mission to try your new powers, my Dear Leiko"

Gabriel woke up with a sigh and placed his hands in his head...

Hangovers...The only thing worse then the Earl

Groaning Gabriel lifted his head up to see the Earl lying down on the table with his face a few inches away from his own face..

"Boo" Said the Earl Jokingly..

Yelling out Gabriel jumped backwards and fell over his chair and went over in a tumble on the floor...Tangled in the chair legs he looked up at the Earl who peered over the edge of the Table at him.

"I Have something which you may find nice" The earl said.
"Simply follow this to get to the Asian Headquarters of the Exorcists my son" he explained pointing to a portal on the wall behind Gabriels prone form.

Anything to get away from you at the moment

As Gabriel unwound himself from the chair and wandered over to the Portal he decided that even his patience could be tested by a hangover and the Earl...Coughing he grabbed a bag from a dresser as he walked past it and stepped through the portal into the heat.

[Midare]

Leiko had been out of the dinner room for about a week. She knew that she had to take her time to recover her energy after what had heppened to her but now she was back to the room and she saw how the Earl was sending Gabriel trought the portal. She just stood there looking at the scene. She was wearing her black costume, the bandages where still covering her left eye and the scars of her body were already gone. "Fortunely we as Noah recover fast from wounds", she had thought in this week.

After Gabriel was gone, the Earl turned back at her.

"So, here you are again my lovely Leiko" He greeted her. She didn't replied to this.

"Well, I guess that you're fully recovered by now so if that's the case, I have a mission for you"

"A mission, huh?"

"Yes! a mission in Syrbia, this will be a great chance to you to test your new power... which I think you've already discovered, right?"

"I did"

"Then..." The Earl opened a new portal to her "You can go there now"

Leiko started to walk straight to the portal, not saying a word to the Earl.

"Oh by the way! you'll be meeting with someone interesting there!" The Earl told to her once she was already inside the portal.

"Wha..!?" Leiko was unable to ask about this since the portal close right after she walked in.

[Kabane]

"Nicholas~~~" The Earl smiled, "How is that mission of yours going?"

Nicholas swallowed a large vat of saliva. His adam's apple vibrated as the liquid passed through his throat. He swirl a glass of wine, the contents moving along the curved edges of the cup.

"Fine. With the help of Styx I--"

"OH yes, that reminds me."

"Yes"

"About Styx... I don't think it's.... safe for you to merge with him anymore."

"........


So then... you know why I seem to get sick after merging with him?"

The Earl's smile widened. He sat silent.

"Because it..." The Earl told Nicholas. "And it could..." The Earl continued.

Nicholas dropped the glass of wine on the ground.

Gabriel opened the door and walked into the dining room with a dazed look on his face..

The last thing he remembered was walking to the East asian HQ and then nothing..Blackness...After that he had found himself lying on the ground on the side of a mountain with some flowers threaded through his hair...All in all the only conclusion he could come to from this whole experience was that that was the last time he'd take the drink they offered in those small mountain villages...You never knew what you were going to do.

Looking at the earl who was sitting at the head of the table sipping from a goblet Gabriel weakly raised his hand in a mute wave..In response the Earl started laughing insanely..

Bastard

Gabriel thought whilst forcing a weak smile to his still face...Taking it one step at a time he forced his way through the slime that the air had become to him to his seat and dragged it out wincing at the sound it made on the stone floor as it moved.

Dropping himself into the chair he looked the Earl in the eyes and conveyed across the message.

"If theres any mission for me please don't hesitate to tell me...Anything to work off this horrible feeling".

Then saying so he dropped his head on the table and waited for a mission to come along.

"My dear Gabriel, there is a splendid little place for you to go~ <3" The Earl replied. "One of your brothers seems to have gotten a little out of hand, so I was hoping you'd lend him one."

"You mean Dies?"

"I do~ <3 He'll be waiting in China~ Make sure Dies doesn't kill our little friend there~ <3"

Gabriel lifted his head and looked at the grinning Earl and briefly thought about killing him....

Getting up he smacked his head hard against the wall behind his chair and waited for the room to stop spinning..A sure fire way to kill a hangover in his opinion.

Resting his hand on the earls shoulder as he passed him he stepped into the portal the earl had provided behind him and watched the stars flow past him on his way to China.

Killinger stepped through the portal in to the dining room. It felt like coming home for the first time. Still in human form, he walked up to the grinning Earl and bowed before him. Upon raising, Killinger looked in to the smiling face of the Earl and gave his request. "Earl, I would like now to fight on the front lines of this war. Would you please instruct me of your will." The Akuma stood in silence waiting for his orders in the dim lit room.

"My dear Akuma, I do have something for you to do~ <3" The Earl told him. "You are a fresh level two, and need proper training~ Hopefully someone will teach you~"

The other Noah around the table sat there, ignoring the Earl's comment and the new level two before them.

Then, a knocking came on the door. "Who could that be?" The Earl asked, and the rest turned around.

Alexander walked through the door, dressed in a long black Tuxedo. The Jasdebi twins shook in fear, Road was uninterested, and Tyki seemed slightly surprised, not showing his true emotions.

"You needed me, Earl?" He asked.

"Perfect~ I want you to take this young Akuma with you. He may complement you well. Our allies in Russia aren't doing well, so take Road's portal and get there as soon as you can~" The Earl replied.

"Right, Right..." Road commented, waving her hand to make a door appear.

"Shall we go, young one?" Alexander asked the akuma with a smile. "What's your name?"

"Killinger."

Dies walked through the heavy door, his skin still visibly stitching itself together. A good portion of his right cheek was hanging limply along the side of his face as the cells around it regenerated. Dies snarled, pushing it from his face before tearing it off completely. Kujaku, in his human form, bounced in behind him, clearly elated to be back home.

“So. How was your trip?”

The Earl gazed at them, his eyes barely visibly above his glasses. His face sported a sinister, knowing smile.

“Oh, it was fine. The usual. Met exorcists, beat exorcists, Gabriel tried to crush us, Kujaku evolved to level three, and so forth.”

Dies waved his hand flamboyantly, clearly delighting in his sarcasm.

“I see.”

“Well, of course you do. You see everything, don’t you.”

Dies smirked. His resentment for the fatso was manifesting itself in cynicism and scathing sarcasm.

“Yes, actually. So the akuma evolved? I had a feeling that might happen.”

“Yeah. You might say his tree grew a few more leaves.”

Dies put his hand on the table, smirking slightly and staring straight at the Earl. The Earl returned the glare, the eyes behind the glasses refusing to blink.

“Indeed. I’ve heard your memory has got better, by the by. How did you manage that? ~ <3”

Dies turned, pulling open the door. He turned to face the fatso with what could only be described as a mask of detest.

“I was playing chess.”

“Before you go, Dies, it may interest you to know that Xavier is no longer with us…”

So he’s dead.

Dies glanced at the ground slightly. He and the Frenchman had never seen eye to eye, but Dies had found his company valuable, and he would miss him. But he wouldn’t weep. He couldn’t cry, for to let a tear roll down your face, was weakness. He would mourn the loss in his mind.

“And you may want to train. I’m sure your akuma could do with learning his new abilities.”

Dies slammed the door shut, leaving. Road slipped out of the shadows, standing by the Earl.

“You don’t mind that he disobeyed your orders? He did attack Hu He’s associate, after all.”

The Earl smiled, taking a glass from the table, twirling it in his hands, before sliding it to the side.

“My dear Road, it’s like a game of chess. You have to make your opponent think they have the advantage.”

[Miyata]

A swirl of blue and black whizzed open in the Dining room. The one way there, from the outside. Mikhail had only recently met the Earl, but was cordially invited to his extravagant dining room, where he saw the Earl; in the master's chair. He approached him by the left side of the grand table, fit to seat and feed at least thirty hungry souls.

Only being the first time Mikhail had entered the house of his master, the Earl had a smug look on his face, sensing not only insecurity, but faith and potential. Travelling through the void was a dangerous business, but the finest were at his fingertips; never would Mikhail have thought it was able to travel between Egypt and somewhere in the unknown so quickly. He scanned through the many windows as he continued his steady pace; noting the sudden change in time. It was dawn when he had left Cairo, but now it was almost pitch black and beyond.

As he came within a talking distance of the Earl, he raised his right hand from his side, only half way up his body though, openly moving it across his body, in somewhat of a semi bow, but enough to show just how much respect he did actually have for the man.

"What is it you require of me?"

Gabriel exited the hallway and entered the dining room, From the dark dim recesses that the hallway provided the welcome few to the Harsh brightness of the lamps within the Dining room Gabriel had to shield his eyes for a moment to allow them to adjust sufficiently...Reaching into his pocket he drew out his glasses and placed them on his eyes to forgo the look of shadowing his eyes indoors.

The first thing he noticed was the Earl sitting at the head of the table with a smug look on his face looking to his left at a man who was bowing slightly to him.

Old man even has servants bowing to him now....

He thought with disgust...Then his attention turned towards the man who held the Earls attention and he felt the feeling inside him grow at being around one of his siblings...This man was definatly a new one...Where on earth had the Earl found him..Judging by his appearance somewhere in the middle eastern country's by what Gabriel could tell..But then again when did the color of someones skin mean anything in the Noah family...After all Dies was constantly getting his ripped off in fights and he was pretty sure each time it grew back it was changing color...Fancifull really.

Wandering over to his Seat Gabriel pulled it back and listened as it made a large scrape as the iron caps underneath it drew along the stone floor causing the man who was bowing to look at him in surprise.

"You must be new..." Gabriel said after a pause then.."Don't think your equal just yet just because the old man's gone blind doesn't mean the rest of us have"..Then he waited for the response.

Mikhail shifted his eyes to the newly entered man. His eyes seemed focussed on his own, magnified and drawn through his perfectly clear spectacles. He shortly nodded back at the Earl before fully turning towards this new coming senior. A sense of respect, to both the Earl, and his fellow Noah.

There was obviously much behind what the man was saying, why he spoke in the tone he did, why he spoke in the way he did, but most importantly why he said what he did. All these questions flew up one impulse and down the other, but there was no time to answer them all. He would have to delay his queries until after his meeting.

"I am sorry, but I wish not to quarrel in the Earl's presence. Yes, I am new, and I was told to report here, so if you please, I have issues to attend to."

With that, he nodded away from what seemed to be a much wiser and older Noah of the Earl's than himself, simply turning back to the Earl and waiting for his speech to commence; for his orders to flow from brain to tongue.

Gabriel was speechless for a second as his newly found sibling neatly disarmed his insinuated insult towards him and at the same time was so very eloquent with his phrase that the Earl cackled with laughter at the end of it.

With a pfft Gabriel waved his hand dismissively towards the man and picked a goblet of wine out of mid air...Leaning back he watched the newcomer and the Earl with interest as he drank from the cup.

"Well, my Noah, I do indeed have a task for you~ It seems our friends in Asia have been having a bit of trouble. The Chinese Mafia requires some assistance. I hope you all don't mind. Does anyone want or need a card to help out old Earl-sama~? <3"

He continued, "Dies, I'd like you to stay back a bit from the mission~ You seem to not have won their... admiration~?"

Road barely looked up from her book, giving enough attention to the Earl so that she knew what she had to do.

"'Ey buddies!"

Nash dashed into the room after being successfully healed by Road. His body was all covered in bruises and injuries after that atrocious fight he had with Nicholas. He skipped formalties and chose not to take a seat like many others around him, instead he looked around the room and started to name his brothers and sisters one by one, flawlessly, until 2 people he's never seen before appeared in his vision field.

"Dontknow#1 and Dontknow#2. Introduce yourselves!"

Nash pointed to the seven foot tall priest and the gentleman next to him. Nicholas, who was too busy packing his bombs and potions for the mission drew his attention to something crucial saying:

"You haven't introduced yourself at all, either."

Nash eyed Nicholas sharply. His hand fell down to his side as he came to the realization of Nicholas's comment.

"Ah, that's right. Nash Strife! That's my name."

After the proper introductions from the two parties, Nash walked out of the room with Nicholas to his side. He looked at the bomb-wearing man next to him and commented mockingly:

"They won't blow in your face, now would they buddy?"

**Training dimension**

Dies looked up, ignoring the other man. It seemed that no sooner had he entered the dimension than the Earl was recalling him. Waving goodbye to Mikhail, he opened his own portal to the dining room.

**Dining room**

"Ah, that's right. Nash Strife! That's my name."

One of the Noah - Dies didn't know him, was poking jokes at Nicholas. Dies grinned as he leapt from the cieling as both that man and Nicholas left.

He landed dynamically on the table, giving the Earl a deep, mocking bow.

"Ah! Dies! How nice of you to, haha, join us."

"I'm sure it is."

He turned backwards, walking to the end of the long table before hopping off and looking behind him.

"You wished my presence."

"Indeed i do, in China. I would ask Road to make you a portal, but i'm sure you're quite capable yourself..."

It was true. After both Dies and Kujaku had seen the memories, it was though...

"Right." Dies waved his hand, pulling a curtain of space around him and vanishing from sight.

[SoraStrife]

Straightening his tie a bit as he went in, Killinger stepped through a doorway and in to the strange central part of the dimensioin that was the Earl's dining room. With a slight bow before his master, the Akuma spoke. "I apologize for not being able to eliminate those Exorcists in Russia for you, but..."

The grinning Earl cut off his young servant. "Now now, no need to fear <3 Your little escapade in to the cold was a mere test to get some experience in that young body of yours~ Now I would like you to assist another noah already out in the field in China, sound good my Akuma?<3"

With a slight look of shock, Killinger bowed again and managed a "Yes Earl, your will is mine."

With that the Earl bade Road open a portal near a Noah by the name of Dies, and Killinger stepped through, in to the land of China.

Ruth stood up from her chair and put it back under the table quietly.

"Thank you for the meal," she smiled, as she paraded out the door to prepare herself before leaving.

The Earl only grinned at her direction- eyes ambiguously hidden behind his shining glasses.

"Would you like to take a card dear Ruth?~"

"Just let Road teleport it to me or something similar dear Earl-sama," Ruth gave a warm smile as her head popped back in. "You've given me quite the excitement so I would think it would be more fun to keep it a mystery until I'm in the area."

"Whatever suits you my dear.."

[Ai]

Gabriel sat quietly at his chair and watched as a gaggle of Noah and Akuma alike entered the room, conversed with each other and then left after recieving their instructions from the Earl.

With a sigh he stood up from his chair and slowly made his way towards the Earl giving road a mournfull look as he passed where she was situated, She simply stuck out her tounge at him.

Little Chit...

He thought with a sense of dislike. Fronting up to the Earl he nodded his head in greeting as the old man cackled crazyily and merely pointed with his stick to a portal which opened up behind him with a low hum of energy sparking off from it.

"Step right through there sleepy, And remember to have fun..."
"Of course old man, Though to tell you the truth even you might find what I do amusing..." Gabriel replied with a very rare smile that was so out of place on his usually placid or mournfull face that for a moment the earl stopped grinning and looked seriously at him..Then with a flicker it disappeared off his face and he stepped past the crazy old man and into the portal...Stepping out the other side to encounter the rolling deck of a merchant ship that was in the middle of a voyage, Turning around to look at the portal Gabriel could faintly hear the cackle's of the Earl as his portal placed him within a distance of the People he had been thinking of when he stepped through..

Your portals may transend time and distance however it's a simple matter to twist them to my own purposes old man......I hope your watching all this..

[Ai]

Stepping out of the portal and back into the hall outside the dining room Gabriel opened the door and walked inside to confront a grinning earl..

"Looks like your plan didn't work as well as you thought Boy..kukuku.."
"Stuff it old man...It's like working with children except worse..they have no idea of the consequences of their actions.."
"Thats alright boy...In fact I think next time you go out you'll find it much more to your liking..Just try to leave a bit for your brothers and sisters.."
"My brothers and sisters are too involved in their own affairs to care about what I do" gabriel spat back.."Xavier was one of the few that had sense and he had to go get himself killed..His new reincarnation is crazy.."

Pushing the earl aside with his hand Gabriel received a thwack over the back of his neck from Lero as he walked to his seat sat down and began drinking whilst waiting for his next assignment..

"The exorcists will die this time" he muttered under his breath as the Earl grinned deeper and watched him from the door.

[Fect]

Anderson sat in his chair, watching the rain pour outside his office at the orphanage. "A beautiful day. Like the rest."

Walking towards his door, a portal opened. He called a nun outside, keeping the door shut. "I need to take a short trip, sister."

"I'll carry things on in your absence, father."

Walking through the portal, Anderson appeared in the Earl's dining room. "God's good grace to ye, Earl."

"And to you as well, Father."

Anderson looked over. "It must be important if you called me."

"I need you to deal with some of your people in Athens."

"I'll pay those sinners a call then."

He walked through the portal one more time, heading to the capital of Greece.

[Ai]

Gabriel looked at the earl as the old man said cackling..

"I think you will like this Gabe...if you step through my journey hole here to Santorini you will find yourself some play things to take your mind off the more serious things in life..kukuku"

Stepping up and out of his chair Gabriel sighed with melancholy as he realized his defeat at the old mans hands and walked into the swirling portal.

[Yamamoto]

Ruth drank another fine glass of wine, as she noticed Gabriel enter through the Earl's portal.

The Earl, moving his eye to his side, widened his grin as he saw an abnormally quiet Ruth drink her second glass.

"Would you like to accompany your dear brother and have some quality time together?~"

Placing the wine glass slowly as she fixed her bangs to one side, Ruth closed her eyes and smiled. "That would be lovely, Uncle Earl dear." Standing up as she paraded towards the portal, her eyes stared back at the Earl's perpetual smile, then mad her way towards Santorini.

Things have been too gloomy here...might as well get to know brother dearest..

((Me is getting rusty as well, Kensei :p... and this will be short, I think I'll make my post on the arc tomorro night... me ish sleepy))

Leiko haven't sleep this much in a long time but after that fight to get that gem, her body felt exhausted.

She woke up and went to the dinner room and seeing that the room was empty she just sat at the table and waved with her hand to one of the servants in the place and, knowing exactly what her orders were, the akuma bowed at her and then walked away, only to came back few minutes laters with a tray and four small bottles of sake and a cup.

The servant placed the bottles in front of her and she simply took one of them and served herself some of the clear liquid in that small cup.
She kept drinking while thinking and looking at the new tattoo on her wrist.

Now... what am I supposed to do with this?

After several minutes, the sake on three of the bottles was gone and she was starting to drink the fourth bottle when she felt a presence coming into the room.

"Oh so you're finally back my dear Leiko?"

mou... how I hate his voice

The Earl of the Millenium stepped forward so Leiko would look at him, but she ignored him instead.

"So? why were you gone all this time?" Asked the Earl.

"Sorry Sennen, but that's none of your business" she said while sipping on her cup again.

The Earl glared at her, alwasy with his big smile on place and Leiko looked back at him

"What? do you have something for me?"

[Yamamoto]

"While yes my dear Leiko, I always have something for you?~"

With eyes gleaming and his nightmarish smile he opened a tall portal as the scent of the Meditteranean wafted into the dining room.

"I've always admired those craftly little people called 'Greeks," said the Earl as he pushed his glasses further up his nose. "Would you care to visit them in behalf of me my dear Leiko?"

Leiko only frowned explicitly.

"Sources tell me it's a landmine over there. Destroy the innocence...as usual~"

[Ai]

Gabriel stepped out of the portal which fitted seamlessly into the entrance of the dining rooms doorway. As he pulled his foot through it he felt the energy from it dissapait behind him as it vanished.

Looking around at the empty room he noticed just the Earl looking slightly sad in a way which only one who's constantly smilling all the time can.
Looks like his lover left him

"Sometimes I wonder what you do whilst we're away" Gabriel stated as the Earl laughed at the state of Gabriels tattered clothing.
"You look like you had fun boy" The earl Kukuku'd overriding Gabriel's questioning statement.
"Indeed, I notice that the rest of the family seems vagely absent..With that in mind i'm going to go change then if anyone needs me i'll be in the library sleeping. Wake me within 12 hours and I'll make you disappear" Gabriel stated turning around and waving a hand at the earl as he opened the doors and wandered out into the hallway down towards the rooms and then onto the library.

((Gabriel is back and is raring for another arc..Mind if we kick inactive Noah.))

"Our dear priest, do you need anything? A vacation? They're celebrating in Paris..." The Earl told him, already expecting the answer.

"No," Anderson replied, "I merely wish to visit the children again."

Anderson began to walk through the portal back towards the orphanage. "By the way Anderson, don't betray me, or you know what I have in store for you and your little 'home.'"

[Ai]

Gabriel stepped back into the dining room after what seemed like an eternity in the library..Although by the way he felt so rested after hsi little nap it could well have been another beautiful trait from his Noah heritage prolonged life..

sitting down at the table he noticed a clear lack of mostly everyone shrugged and waited for someone to do something.

[Midare]

Leiko slowly opened her eyes and for a moment, everything was blurry in her eyes. It was hard to focus.

"Oh, so you are finally waking up, my lady?"

Eventually, she was able to focus her sight to see Tykki Mikk very close to her, grinning.

When she was able to react, she opened her eyes wide.

"AHOU!!!" and with this punched him in the face, making him fall to the ground.

"eheheh... you'll never change, right Leiko?"

She noticed that she was lying in a couch and tried to get up. She was feeling dizzy but, after some seconds, she looked around her to see she was at the dinning room. Gabriel was sitting at the table, ignoring the scene.

"Oh, and you should be thankfull..." Tykki stood from the ground and grinned again. "... after all I was the one who picked you up while you were unconscious outside the Parthenon."

Leiko didn't say a word, she keept trying to focus on something besides the terrible headache she was having.

"You should have seen us... I was carrying you as a princess in my arms it was.."

"Have someone told you you talk too much, Tykki?"

Tykki laughed at this, but didn't replied.

Leiko looked at herself while touching her right ear. She was wearing an earring with little apples hanging off of the end.

So, it was not a dream, huh?... That exorcist... I'll get him for sure

"Tch... my clothes are a mess. I'm going to change"

Then Leiko stood and walked towards the exit of the dinning room.

"Do you need help with that, Leiko?" Tykki said in a mocking tone.

"Urusai, ahou" and with these words, she left the room.-

"My how lovely we look today, dear Leiko-chan?" Ruth smiled, as Leiko approached the exit to the dining room.

"Ahou. You're still the same pain in the neck," Leiko's eyes narrowed, as she stepped to the side, distancing herself from Ruth as far as possible.

Ruth smiled as she took her seat in the spacious dining room. Small, cartoon-like candles floated around her as a menacing smiled appeared from the darkness at the far end of the table. Small, beady eyes shining under small shady lenses, the Earl tapped Lero down to the ground, signalling those in the room to take their respective seats.

"Now, who wants to have some fun?" he grinned.

Anderson watched the children in the front yard. Two boys were playing with sticks, pretend sword fighting. Somewhat ironically, he told them, "Children, ye only use yer violent ways against monsters and heretics."

They nodded and wandered off towards a sandbox to play.

A strange man walked up. He was from the Vatican, but was also an Akuma. He wore a brown sport coat, slacks, and hat. He had two workers, also akuma, pull out a very large bundle from the car.

"To a certain Mr. Anderson, I have given you a large bundle of holy "spades" for your use. From, the Vatican."

The two workers weren't able to lift it, and dropped it on the ground. Anderson, slipping his foot underneath, kicked it up to his shoulder, and walked forward towards his office, having a little trouble slipping it through the door, and setting it in the corner.

He locked the door, turned to his Noah form, and walked through the portal to the Earl's Room.

"Hello there~, holy priest~," The Earl commented in a cheerful tone.

"What mission have ye sent me for next, Earl?"

[Yamamoto]

"Oh I wonder~" The Earl smiled with malice. "I have two choices: Would you like a trip to some old abbey and have some fun with some monks or have your fun atop a legendary mountain? I trust you enough to make your own decision."

When will he ever stop with this playful nonsense?

Ruth's eyebrow raised as she heard the part about the monastery.

"I'll gladly go and have some fun with those monks, Master Earl," she stood up, bowing her head as she smiled.

"Take your leave then my dear <3," the Earl grinned, as he let Road open up a large portal. "Shall you be joining her Anderson?"

[Fect]

"I do not wish to harm those who walk in a true light," Anderson replied. He moved towards the exit for the Mountains.

"But for ye who do not, be scared of the betrayal ye not see," he finished.

There was a faint ripping sound, as though an expensive curtain had been ripped to shreds by a tabby cat. The Earl ignored it, continuing to focus on a pile of papers. A few minutes passed, and he looked up.

"Ah, Dies! I hadn't realized you'd come in! And, erm, what are you doing up there?"

Dies was hanging upside down, his feet stuck to the cieling. He sighed, and spinning in mid-air, dropped to the floor.

"Looking down on you. Besides, you knew i was up there from the moment i came in. Don't play me for a fool."

The Noah took special care to wipe his dirty boots on the tablecloth.

"You sent the others somewhere. What, were you planning to exclude me?"

[Yamamoto]

"Oh my, someone's quite suspicious <3" the Earl cackled, as he started to open a portal. "Dear old me hadn't heard a peep out of you lately....quite relaxing actually."

Dies only raised his eyebrow, wondering where the revolving portal led to as he took another big step to wipe his boots on the silken tablecloth, eying the Earl's dinner as his next victim soon.

"Perhaps a trip to a local monastery shall help you relearn your manners boy <3" the Earl's eyes glistened as he clicked, the cue for Lero to jab Dies from behind, sending him flying into the portal.

"Have a nice trip~"

[Ai]

Gabriel sighed softly as he tried to catch some sleep on the table, His siblings created so much noise when they entered the room and started talking for those already in the room.

Finally giving up on getting any shuteye at all he raised himself up off the table with his arms and pushing his seat backwards stood up to eye the earl who gave him a toothy grin as usual while his umbrella shouted obscenity's at him.

"So old man, Where to now?"

[Yamamoto]

"And good morning to you to dear Gabriel~ <3" the smiling Earl turned around.

"Might I suggest you not call me dear, you're starting to creep me out old man."

Suddenly the Earl stood over Gabriel, his smiling face shoved unbelievably close to Gabriel's sleepy one. If there was ever a personal space violation rule inside the mansion, this would have to take the cake.

"I do hope you like mountain climbing dear Gabriel, you're going to be off to the great Mt. Olympus," he cackled, rearing his face as he turned around and spun Lero around. "Road, the portal please~ <3"

[Ai]

Gabriel shivered as he felt the Earls presence wash over him..a slightly sickly feeling and one that gave him chills...

Eager to be rid of the actual presence of the Old man Gabriel stepped forward into the portal and the steep slopes of Mt. Olympus.

[Midare]

((Wow... I haven't seen so much activity here in like... ages XD))

Leiko stepped into the dining room again after changing her clothes. Now she was wearing another black costume, with a black shirt and a red tie made of silk.

Leiko walked directly at the table and when she saw Tykki smiling at her, she looked away to see how Gabriel was leaving the room using Road's portal and how the Earl waved at him. She sighedand turned around walking away slowly taking advantage of this.

"Oh! my lovely Leiko, there you are ~<3"

Kuso! She stop walking and didn't turn around

"I have something for you".

Leiko frowned and turned around.

"Another mission!!?? I've just came back, kuso-jiji!!!"

"Oh but I'm sure you can handle this one my dear <3"

Leiko glared at the Earl.

"Ok, whatever... at least I won't have the chance to be bored... where am I supposed to go?"

[Yamamoto]

"Hmm....where to for you? ~ <3" The Earl was pacing himself, walking in circles, with Lero comedically following his every move.

Baka..

Leiko's eyes narrowed as she was losing her patience. Why can't she just knock him over and be done with!?!?!

"Oh, I know!" the Earl slammed his right fist on his left hand, grinning ever so widely, as he took the chance with Leiko stuck in her puzzled look, shoving her to the still open portal where Gabriel entered without warning.

"Bon voyage dear~ <3"
