Noah Clan Members:

Part 1. (To be expanded later.)
"Padre?" I said. He ignored me. "Padre?" I said again. He placed his newspaper down and looked at me in the eye. I quivered as his dark brown eyes, just like mine, gazed into my corona. The serious expression on my father's face made me think he was more than looking into my eyes, but staring into my soul, wondering what I needed.
"Che?" he replied. What?
Nicholas is my father, we share the same name. I am actually the third person in my family to have the name, my grandfather was also named Nicholas. This makes me Nicholas the Third. My father was a very wealthy man. Our home was, and still is, located on the edge of Venice, overlooking Il Laguna Veneta. It was a luxurious ten bedroom home with eight baths over three stories. We had our own private gondola which could be used at any time, day or night.
"When is Madre coming back?" I asked. He looked surprised. For two years, my mother had supposedly been on a business trip to America. I am now eight. I had not asked for more than a year, but today... I needed to. November 25th, it was her birthday, her 40th Birthday. I did not ask my father last year, due to the fact that he was usually busy with preparations for his own Birthday Party. My mother is a single day older then my father, but this year he did not chosen to hold a party. Instead he is going to spend the day alone, in his room.
The day passed by like it was nothing. We went into town, visited Piazza San Marco, the Grand Canal, etc. I thought it was random. Night fell and we ate out at an expensive restaurant, then returned home. I went to bed at around 10 while my father stayed up around a fireplace.
At twelve midnight, I awoke to my father screaming, I dashed down the stairs to the fireplace to see him dead, his body on the ground, with a large figure with a top hat and cane over it.
"Nicholas, right?" I nodded in fear. "Call me, Uncle Earl. Uncle E for short. So you work for me now. K, then... I'll be seeing you. Oh, and one more thing. I'll return when you're powers awaken. Good-bye then!" He took his cane and disappeared, before I could ask questions.

"Juste une nuit ordinaire (Just an ordinary day)."
I muttered to myself as I drew my pack of Marlboro cigarettes from my coat's pocket. In a matter of seconds, I lit the tobacco joint I held in between my lips as I gazed at the starry skies.
It looked the same back then as well.
A recurring flashback of witnessing the countless deaths of people in front of me appeared in front of my eyes. It was happening again, like a retro black and white movie strip rolling with me as the trigger. Oh how I hated it when it first started, but not now. I've developed an indifference and a slight intrigue to these events and their relevance to me.
Le Blanc... Was that me?
"Ah! Le Blanc, or wait, pardon me, that was my mistake, it's Xavier now, isn't it?"
A voice rang in the empty streets of Marseille. A voice that I may have not been familiar with had it not been for those past visions. I refused to turn my head back and show him my astonished face, rather, I kept my peace.
"Well, well. Pardon me indeed. I have been awfully rude to you haven't I? Querying your name without giving you mine, just where have my manners gone? My name's irrelevant to our cause, but people call me the Earl of the Millennium."
I took out the cigarette out of my mouth and threw it into the river bank upon which the street overlooked. With a puff of smoke out of my mouth, I turned my body towards him with my arms resting on the stoney fence. I raised an eyebrow and smirked before finally speaking.
"Our cause? I do not recall accompanying myself with the likes of you."
The man as I saw him now, was not much different from the one I saw in my visions. Round physique, old fashioned hat that I rather fancied, a pink umbrella and grin that stretched out from his right to his left ear. As if not surprised by my comment, the man rotated his umbrella a bit as he slowly walked up to me.
"Ah... That is quite a shame. Allow me to explain to you who am I then, 200 years ago I and a-"
"Two hundred years, eh? So this Le Blanc fellow was my ancestor 200 years ago?"
"Ha! I see you have regained at least that much. That is very much true indeed. Le Blanc and you are blood relatives, royal descendants from the chosen Noah family. The very Noah that survived the flood."
I contained my surprise. The fact that Le Blanc and I were related somehow did not strike me as odd, but it was the second piece of information that was foreign to me. A descendant of Noah, the Prophet Noah.
"Heh... So, what business brings you here? Surely you haven't come here to enlist my aid for your plans again, have you?"
"You speak just like him, oh so much like him indeed. So sharp and blunt. Indeed what you have said is true. I need the power of Noah's Ark, the power of Noah's family, no... I need you Le Blanc Dupont. Together, you and I could return this world to its days of glory. The world as it is, is corrupt and a dangerous place to live in. Joining my legion will allow you to participate in the overthrow of the world's injustices, something that you have always dreamt of being the idealist you are."
He spoke the truth. How he knew it however, I have no clue. Such declarations I have never made in the open, did he read my mind? No, that would be utterly ridiculous, what is it then?
"Comparing me to Le Blanc will get you nowhere, I am by no means him. Should I join you, then I'd like to be addressed by the name that I have been Christened with, Xavier Dupont. Am I clear?"
The man looked at me from the space right above his glasses. His sinister yellow eyes sent the chills down my spine, but I fought it nonetheless, keeping my feet firmly stuck to the ground.
"Very well then, Xavier Dupont. Let me help you assume your Noah form."
He walked up to me and raised his umbrella's tip towards my forehead. Slowly, he stroked it against my white skin. Once done I opened my eyes only to see the skin of my hands turned into an ash gray color.
"Let's go, Sir Xavier."
Those were my cue words into the world of everlasting darkness. My life as I have known it has come to an end, this was turning of a new leaf as a Noah family member.

"Everything is over... everything is over.... everything is over.... everything is over...."
Leiko stayed there, on her knees, a expression of shock in her face while tears were running down her cheecks, and that line repeating over and over again inside her head: "Everything is over..."
The castle of Aizu was on flames, the army of the Isshin Shishi (Patriots of the restoration), won the battle killing her father, the feudal lord of Aizu. Her husband commited seppuku along with the rest of the army loyal to the Shogun, right in front of the burning castle.
With all this, everything was over for her... the control she always had was gone.
The desperation overcame her, no, it was more than desperation. Hatred maybe? no, it was beyond that, it was something close to insanity.
With this feeling growing inside her she screamed. It was an scream so loud that startled all the soldiers around and even those whose were far away from were she was kneeling.
Still screaming she held her head, bent down and a lump started to form and grew in her back. The soldiers close to her, seeing this flinched and slowly stepped back, scared.
Suddenly, the fabric of her stained kimono gave up and tore apart, releasing thousands of small black spiders that quickly approached the soldiers all around.
Some soldiers stayed there, petrified by fear and these spiders went over them, covering them and killing them. The rest of the soldiers ran away af fast as they could, while screaming: "She's a monster!" or "She's a demon!"
While all this was happening, Leiko just stayed there, trembling and holding her head, with her eyes tightly shut. Eventually, all the screams around her went silent.
She stayed like that and didn't moved for several minutes, until she her someone speaking to her.
"Good evening"
She opened her eyes, the expression of shock still in place, and looked upside. She wasn't sure of who this person was, but one thing was for sure: This one didn't looked as a human being. He seemed so strange to her, specially that abnormally big smile on his face.
"It seems that you just lived a terrible moment, right, Leiko?" This person said.
"I-I've.... lost.... everything" was her only reply.
"I see but, seeing this power of yours, I might help you to retrieve all the control you've used to had"
"P-power?"
"Yes, power, the power that just killed all these Isshin Shish", He moved his right arm, making Leiko look around her. Almost a hundred dead bodies were laying all around her, covered in blood. The expression of shock on her face grew at this.
"I... did... all this?" She said, still looking around.
"Exactly, you did all this" He said with his big smile.
"It can't be.... it'can be" Leiko murmured. "Who... who are you? Se said looking back at this person
"Oh! Excuse my rudeness, I'm the Earl of the Millenium and, as I said, I can help you to retrieve all the control you had"
"How?"
"You, my beautiful Leiko, are part of a Clan the ever worked with me, helping me: The Noah Clan. Without you knowing it, you've always had the blood of a Noah running trough your veins..."
She stayed there silent, looking at the Earl, not understanding what he was talking about. He noticed this and keep talking.
"...but right now you're still shocked, so I'll explain all the details to you later. As for now... would you come with me?" He offered his hand to help her stand and she looked at this hand, confused.
"Is up to you, Leiko - he kept talking - if you wish to retrieve the control you love so much, come with me"
Leiko was confused, she kept looking at the hend in front of her, offering to her all her control back. Images of the moments she had just lived filled her mind, losing the few remaining clarity in her thoughts. She didn't know what was right and what was wrong, or what path to take.
Without thinking, she took the hand of the Earl and he helped her to stand.
"Well now, let's get going, Leiko" She looked at him, and thought that for an instant, his smile grew a little wider, but she didn't cared and started to walk at his side towards a shadowy wood, leaving the castle of Aizu and its ashes behind.-

"I never thought this re-awakening, as I called it, would stem from something so petty and lead to somewhere like this. Must be what they called fate. And it all started that day with a simple phonecall. That's when I was contacted...."
"Edrial. There's a call for you in the office."
"What now, no sooner is the college year over and people already want me? Man I'm good."
I walked into the office while my peers left to attain a social function held by one of my friends. I answered the phone to which I was greeted by my dads horrible raspy voice. The line was bad so I decided to call him back on a number he left from the payphone outside. Arriving outside I quickly rang him back to see exactly what he had wanted, though I had a rough idea. I stared blankly into the sky as the phone rang.
"Whats taking him so long to-"
"Edrial."
"So what exactly do you want. I'm in the middle of-"
What ensued was arguement between myself and my father, a spectacle it must have looked to all around but I didn't care. It turned out his aim was to cut me off until I payed back his small loan. Typical parent I thought, trying to ravage my enjoyment in anyway possible.
"You know what, f**k you! And all the rest of you too!"
I slammed the phone down and sighed, turning my head to see who was watching. The crowd soon went about their businesses, it must have been the look in my eyes. I needed to shrug this off and the perfect opportunity passed me by as a gorgeous blonde walked past. Given my drive and desire for enjoyment I casually strode after her. She ended up walking into a museum. Not my cup of tea but at this point I didn't care.
"That's when it began to escalate....."
Walking inside I looked around but could see no sign of the woman anywhere. Sighing once more at my luck, I glanced around and a peculiarity struck me. The place was empty, though the entrance unlocked. A silent shadow fell upon me, so I simply turned to see, with my own eyes what was going on.
"Ah you are a tricky one to keep a handle on, aren't you Edrial."
"Heh nice face. [narrows eyes] Do I... know you?"
The strange looking rotund individual, disappeared from sight and suddenly he was beside me. He certainly was no normal... individual.
"Ah I do apologize, sometimes my manners just slip me by. I am often called the Earl of Millenium, a name to which perhaps you shall grow accustomed to hearing."
"Really? Why would that be?"
"I witnessed just now what was said between you and your father. The people of our world are corrupt, filled with greed and deceit and nothing but their own desires."
"Yeah, get to the point please. I'm no different, I think the same."
"Ah but that is not so. Throughout your body flows the blood of an ancient clan, a descendant of the one who strove to enjoy the world as it is meant to be enjoyed, and thus saved those of like mind and washed away the sin. I need you Edrial Harkin, I need your power to help restore this cursed realm into what it once was."
"That sounds great and all you crazy cook, but I don't see why exactly you are better than anyone else around here."
"Then allow me to show you something that may sway your judgement of me."
The Earl slammed the tip of his umbrella on the ground as an image began to form around us both. I was speechless at the scene that assualted my vision. There was my father turning over my younger brother to a group of Exorcists. I knew about Akuma and Exorcists but, this I never thought possible.
"This is what the world is like Edrial. A world where a man would sell out his own son..."
My pupils dilated at the image that came next, the exorcist crossing my fathers palm with a pouch of money.
"For a small fortune." The image around us vanished and I held my fist clenched tight. "This is your world as it stands, these are the thoughts that corrupt the mind of the people, people who need to have the true spirit of the worlds enjoyment re-awoken within them and cleanse them of these foul tendancies and with your help... that can be accomplished."
"Hmm could you give me, a little time to let this sink in?"
I walked away without even awiting an answer but he didn't contest me for somehow I know he saw what I had planned in plain sight. I hopped in a cab and only said a single word.
"Airport."
A week and a half had passed and I arrived back in Los Angeles, in the dead of night. I walked down the street my yellow eyes feeling as though they were piercing the night, as my black overcoat billowed in the unsettling wind. A smile spread across my face as the rotund Earl manifested before me.
"Did they feel the enjoyment of their... cleansing."
"I doubt they felt as much enjoyment as I did."
"So what have you to say, Edrial Harkin."
"Simple. How much excitment can I expect to have?"
The Earl morphed over to my side and placed his arm around my waist, his grin spreading slightly wider.
"Quite a lot of excitement, young Edrial."
"And that was it, with this I swore my loyalty and I shall never look back, as long as I have... fun."
Gabriel lay stretched out on the roof ledge staring at the crowd below..Randomly he picked out a person and mimed crushing him with his hand...then yawning he stood up and looked down at the body that lay a small distance away on the rooftop between two generators....His best friend..
They had been playing on the rooftop even though they wern't supposed to..It was dangerous with all the sharp edges and few metre drops that was all over the roof...But as usual they were trying to outdare each other...Gabriel had just dared him to jump an expecially large gap between two generators....His friend had run and jumped with a smile on his face..A smile that turned to horror as he realised his mistiming of his steps half way through the air...
The thud as his friend had hit the other generator had been quite distinct Gabriel thought dispasionatly...The sound as his friend had hit the ground had been more of a squelch..
Running over to his friends prone body on the ground Gabriel remembered not really caring.....Even though they were best friends they were only really that because of the position in which they lived next to each other..Beyond that he knew nothing really of him....Looking at his body lying there on the ground, his head turned at an unatural angle Gabriel looked down with no emotion...Life hadn't been that great to him so far..Adding Murder to the list seemed insignificant so why should he care...Kneeling down he looked his friend in his still open eyes that were starting to film over...He felt...Felt..an Exctasy that he had never felt before...A small smile grew on his face..
Looking down at his friends body now Gabriel mearly felt nothing anymore..He reasoned that once felt it could not be felt again with the same person...Turning to walk back inside and to the eventually hell which would occur from this simply act he suddenly heard a voice behind him.
"Hehehe, Not many could look death in the eye and not feel guilt or a feeling of sadness..."
"Who are you" Gabriel asked of the fat elderly crazy looking man that stood on the generator overlooking his friend
"Most Call me the Millenium Earl..Though if you wish you may call me Father, I have been searching for you for a long time Sloth I think you should come with me now to your true home.."
"You crazy man, I can understand the need for a "Little boy" but calling me names won't help your perversion"..
"Oh you missunderstand me Son" The Earl replied suddenly vanishing and reapearing behind Gabriel.."I know you for who you really are and what you can do, I even know of your secrets"..
"So you know me, So you have secrets too..Why should I go with you..."
"Because I can give you Entertainment the like of which you've dreamed of" The earl responded simply stretching out his hand..
The wind blew across the top of the empty rooftop, Empty save for the dead body of a teenage boy...When the mother finds him later she cries at the top of her heart and is approached by a strange old man with a cane who offers her a choice...The decision made she seals her fate..
Gabriels fate was sealed the moment his friend made the jump, Sealed the moment he first learned of his "Secrets"..Sealed the moment he decided that all there was to life was entertainment...Only that mattered...everything else was second in line now.

Everything was perfect. The beautiful countryside, the growing land, a family I would die for. But more importantly, the unbreakable bonds with the love of my life.
"P-please...let me explain...my l-love..."
He crept closer and closer and pinned Ruth to a wall. With knife in one hand he muttered about love and her as his uneven breaths came closer and closer. The sights of her murdered family as well as the woman she caught him with haunted her every second.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!!!"
Why is this happening?
She cried and cried until she couldn't take it no more, and kicked him in the gut with all her might, taking the knife herself and finally raising the knife in the air and letting it pierce out his crazed eyes. Her vision became blurry, as before she fainted to the ground she heard a faint snickering coming closer behind her.
She woke up and found herself in a mysterious yet archaic building. "Hello there my child," said the same voice that she heard snickering before. She turned to her side to find a fat and comical being, with a demonic smile. Her hands trembled as she tried to move the rest of her immobile body but felt the demon's hand placed upon her forehead.
'There, there, you've been through a lot. It's alright now, the darkness in you is free," he smiled.
"S-Seb..." Ruth tried to talk.
"Sebastian?" the comical being hissed. "Your one true love who was found with another wretched woman three days before your union? Your one true love who slaughtered that same strumpet as well as your own family, shredding each one flesh by flesh? THE SAME SEBASTIAN WHO GAVE YOU THOSE SCARS YOU BEAR NOW?"
Ruth pathetically broke down again, wailing out of desperation, she was so confused and didn't know what to do.
"There, there" the creature smiled as he soothed Ruth's sorrows. "It is the humans who are pathetic," he said as the warmth in his hand over her head felt...comforting.
"I am the Millenium Earl, and now, you are born again," he cackled as he removed his hand from Ruth's forehead and revealed a bloodied pattern of crosses. "Now my new child, join us and let us punish the darkness the humans continue to linger on!! Ha-ha-ha"
For the Earl...
Alexander picked up a small stone, and flung it into the lake. The orphanage was dreary that day. It had come and gone so quickly, and he had cared for those children as much as he could. He always gave them a smile from his heart, and they would always show him the same back. It was a good relationship between all of them.
He began to walk inside, and there sat an umbrella, pink with a pumpkin on top of it; it rested outside the door to his office. He told the young boy he was with to run on ahead.
The Earl was turned around in Anderson's chair as he went inside. He grabbed the umbrella. "How nice of a patron to pay a visit."
The Earl sat there and gave a cool collected answer. "Xavier's dead."
The rain outside began to pour down harder. Alexander stood motionless. A knock was heard on his door. It was the little boy he was with. "Hello child, what is it you need?"
"I left my bear outside..." He whimpered.
"Alright, let's go get it," the towering figure told the boy.
The two walked back outside to the small lake beside the orphanage.
Alexander bent down, and picked up the boy's prized possession. As they walked back inside, he began to think about his past; he knew why the Earl was here - the Earl needed more strength.
The boy looked up, "Father, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, my child, let's take you to your room," he calmly said with a smile.
'For a decade, he's left me alone.'
They approached the boy's dorm, let him inside, and then walked by the courtyard again. "He found me on a day like this."
He walked back into his office, and the Earl was gone. All that sat there was a note: "The Night is approaching quickly, Alexander. I'll need your power; the duties you had as a spy will continue. I know you're good at it, so you'll have no trouble getting me information from the Vatican. -<3 Earl"
Alexander sat down and began to think. He watched outside as the April showers came down and splashed against the window of his room.
A flashback...
--------------------------
He was fighting against the locals. The Vatican had been sent in to help fight against the Akuma early on in the war. His personal favorite were the blessed daggers that he used. They entered the city. The fighting was pretty easy; but the level one akuma kept coming. One by one, the men in his squad died. Only he and his best friend from then were left, as they hid inside a small house.
"Crappy situation they left us in, eh?" Alexander said.
"Yup. We'll make it out. The vatican got a few new specialty troops to fight against them. They're supposed to arrive after us."
Next, he saw a pair of red eyes.
He stood outside, having killed his friend, the daggers piercing through the body. A Noah approached him. "My, my... a Judas Priest and his friend. I'm surprised my pets haven't killed you yet," the Noah said as he flipped cards between his hands.
"And you're a special troop, aren't you? High mobility, accuracy, and regeneration. Says here you lost a limb, then grew it back. My, My," The Noah continued. "I'm sure the Earl would bring your friend back if you..."
Then, a broadsword pierced the Noah's heart. Behind him stood an Exorcist in an old uniform. The Noah fell onto Alexander. The Exorcist in front of him sheathed the sword on his back, then walked off.
"Betray... your kind..." The Noah said. In a stupor, Alexander lost himself, only to awake with black knives and short swords piercing through the Exorcist he had met, and the other men who were helping the Exorcist in white uniforms dead on the ground.
"My new Noah, what is your name?" An old, uninterested voice behind him said.
"Alexander. Alexander Anderson."
He walked through the portal behind him.
---------------------------
"Countless missions later, I suppose, I finally found peace here. The Vatican gave me this as my reward. I love them so dearly."

Jin
"How are the men?" Question Jin to his vice commander, Takeshi, whose spear hung across his back diagonally making it hard for him to get on a horse like the other high ranked members of the squad.
"Morales are fine. I've increased their rations yesterday and allowed them to drink and party until late hours in case the worst is to happen. They are very grateful to you as it is now, Captain Jin."
Pivoting his head and directing it northwards, the Captain of the "Accursed Brigade" -or so they were called- kicked his horse's belly to start marching a few steps ahead of his army. He turned around and looked at his men gathering their gears and weaponry, preparing for war.
"My men. Tonight, we represent the single most couragious unit in the Japanese army that dare to stand against the Earl and his forces. Fight for honor, for power, for security and most importantly for your future. Those who opposed us in the army's higher ranks think that we're suicidal, but I have a message for you and them. We are PROUD suicidals! No living being will control our life as he pleases! We are masters of ourselves, unwilling to bow to the likes of the Earl who think that they control the world with their puppets! We may not be talented or powerful like those guys in the black coats and the shiny stars, but we sure as hell are determined and it is determination that makes the win!"
The crowd cheered and roared at Jin's speech. The men quickly got into their scrap armor and sharpened their weapons in preparation for departure tonight.
"Quite the influential speech there Captain Jin."
"Yes, Takashi. They will need it. After all, the army refused to supply us with weaponry and armor, we had to create our own and salvage whatever it was that the army threw out of the nearest window."
The spear wielding man nodded. His eyes set towards the mud-stained men who feverently prepared for battle.
Night came, and the troops were deployed. The moon glowed with a pinkish hue, announcing the forth coming of an entire Akuma army. Their levels ranged from 1 to 3, the stronger ones in the front and the weaker ones providing support from behind. Slashing, shooting, stabbing, impaling were the blows dealt from both sides of the army. Valiantly, Jin and his second in-charge fought, killing every opposition that came in front of them leaving behind a trail of black oil on the ground. Before long, the troops were decimated and all that was left were Jin and Takashi, cornered against a sakura tree with petals falling down to a pool of blood.
"Captain..."
"Don't drop that spear Takashi, or else I'll have you trialed for treason!"
The man knew better though. There was no way they were going to get out of this alive, hence no trial to be held whatsoever.
"I'm sorry! Captain!" The spear clanged on the floor as the man fell down to his knees with his arms behind his head, accepting his surrender.
"TAKASHI!"
A second in slow motion passed after that. The sword that Jin held moved on its own, decapitating the head of the man who stood next to him. Takashi was killed by his own Captain. The akuma paused at the display of such a questionable act. They waited for a superior to come and judge on the given case.
"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! COME! I'VE KILLED A COMRADE, ONE WHO ENTRUSTED HIS LIFE TO ME! I HAVE NO PLACE TO GO BACK TO AMONG THE PROUD LIVING! NOW COME! KILL ME!"
"That'll be enough now~."
The melachonic sound of the Earl came as he descended down that sakura tree's branches and onto the ground, a few inches in front of Jin. He grabbed his umbrella and pointed it at Jin questioning what it is that he truly wants.
"Your death! Human preservation! Salvagation!"
The Earl "hoo-ed" upon hearing such strong words from the man.
"You're not even mildly strong enough to take me though, swordsmaster-kuuuun <3. I've seen you fight, and I admit that you're impressive, but you're far from being on par with me. I like you though~"
With a mighty swing of his umbrella and quiet annoucement of its name - Lero - the once knight in a shining armor, freezed in his place, incapable to think or move. His blank stare gave a feeling of him suffering from amnesia to those who looked into his eyes. A katana, forged out of the body of one of the akuma in the area, was handed over to Jin and stuck to his body.
"So long as you remain a good boy and obey my orders, chances are good things will happen to you ~"
"Yes... Master Earl." Was Jin's response as he went down on one knee accepting his pledge to serve the Earl for the rest of his life.
All of that, under a blossoming sakura tree...
