Guilty Gear!

Anyone here like this series? I just recently got an Xbox and XX #reload, after having to rent XX for ps2 for god knows how long XD!

I was kind of let down by Isuka, I'm really hoping they release a new one soon that explains some more of the plot gaps (and possibly throws in some more characters! You can never have too many characters from the GG-verse)

My personal favorite and best characters to play as (In order of who i'm best with to least) are May, Sol, I-No *Swoon!*, Eddie, Justice, and Axl.

Isuka is bizzare in gameplay in general. That whole "Turn around" manually is really strange and bothersome in gameplay. But I lurve GG. Great fighting game series though. My favorite character is Anji but I love a lot of the other characters. Like Baiken, Sol, Axl, Jam, May, Johnny. But my prefered is Anji. I love him and his killer butterfly. xD

Isuka was ok. Like Ponpiki said, the turn button thing was horrendously annoying. Other than that it's the same deal, with two new characters, A.B.A, an artificial human with a giant axe shaped like a key, and Robo-Ky mark II which is basically a customizable Robo-Ky (you can give Mark II the moves of other charas and stuff.)

I prefer XX #RELOAD better, though I give Isuka accolades for it's music. "Grunge" Heavy Metal and Guilty Gear go so well together.

Plus ABA is fine >.>;

Guilty gear X2 reload is what made me totally fall in love with the series. That has got to be one of the greatest fighting games ever!!! Once you get good at the combos and special moves, it gets so intense.

My best characters are Sol, Slayer, and Baiken.

Is it just me or was Guilty Gear Isuka a major let down? I mean there were no endings, no story mode, and the whole "turn yourself around" thing was really frustrating eh?

I play GGX2 for the Ps2, and it is by far the coolest and most stylish 2d fighter out there. I've been bringing it over to all my freinds houses to get the word of this awesome serries out there. Though they all agree it rocks, I'm only one man, and they're all too stingey to buy it themselves ;p.

Anyways, my main man is Venom, with Johnny, Millia, and Axl being close seconds. Even with a bunch of freinds over, that game can be fun to just watch other people play. The only problem I have is the balancing issues; Some characters are just overpowered.

Ahh I just love Ky, I'm like, untouchable with him. I used to use Sol and Chipp but then with Sol it felt cheap. Millia is cool too but without tension I can't win a fight with her.

Johnny is just a Don! he might not be able to flash step like Chipp but once he's got you in a combo, you're done for.

The Guilty Gear series is currently the only series out there redefining the standards of fighting games. Even when Capcom and SNK were still releasing brand new fighting games, Sammy and Arc System introduced things that were completely new and quite refreshing.

High-Res artwork, penalties for turtling, combo breakers that actually work, measures to avoid health chipping, etc.

A seminal piece of work, that belongs somewhere on the history of 2-D fighters, for not just being a great game, but for making most 2-D fighters obsolete.

I like the game, but I've never been able to beat it. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to fighting games. First person shooters I rule at though, so it's a tradeoff I guess.

Ky is my favourite character too. His moves are amazing and you can rack up some massive damage on your opponent if proficient enough.

Johnny is a character that not many people appreciate. I for one love Johnny's style but I'm not too good with him.

Sol is just scary with all the combos and speed he has. Not to mention his power bomb is my favourite DM in the game. I don't like him personality wise though >.>

Chipp means speed and that is one of the reasons why I enjoy playing with him. Its all about the speed of your hands if your eyes can actually follow up with his moves and all. Great character IMO.

In conclusion

Ky > Johnny > Sol > Chipp. The 4 of them together means a battle royale!

Oh yes I have played the game. Guilty Gear X, XX and Isuka. I didn't have a particular favourite though ^^

FYI guys, Dust Strikers is friggin CRAP. I'd just stick to Isuka (especially since Isuka has ABA <3)

Know what I'm really looking forward to? SLASH. Sure, not too much is added, but hey, ABA was awesome, plus they added one new overdrive for each character/moves (I hear), and balanced charas. Chipp players will be glad to hear Mr Zanuff now does more damage =B

Man, since I made this thread, I've gotten so much better.... Dropped Sol, Eddie, and Justice. Still keep my beloved I-No (<3) though she's my third best, Bridget being my second best. Nowadays, it's all about Slayer.

I've managed to beat the game 4 times already with Slayer (on maniac difficulty...or whatever the hardest one is called) Almost got a perfect on Boss I-No too! Just got caught by one damn move as I went to finish her off >_<

SLASH has some new things but A.B.A has new super attacks and a new character Order-Sol who is just like Sol-Bad Guy even the moves are almost the same i didn't like Isuka because of the TURN button i've played it on the Arcade but they took it out >_< so i'm getting SLASH

hehe, one of the few games I kept playing up to this day are the Guilty Gear series, I wonder how long they're still gonna be on my list ^^

It's awsome.. I used to play with that guy, who had fans as weapons..
