Resident Evil- Umbrella Chronicles.

I think some of you might’ve been to an arcade before, in fact, I’m almost positive of it.
In that case Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles will either be a nostalgic trip back to putting an extra 25 cents to play Time Crisis, or something that might be rather new: a light gun game on a console.

Familiarity will the “genre” aside, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is the new Resident Evil “on rails” light gun like game for the Wii.
Like you’d expect, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles has you pointing the Wiimote at the screen and using the motion sensing functionality to shoot at your enemies, it’s kind of mindless like Light gun games…but can also prove to be very challenging.
The control scheme works quite well.

I also assume you all know something about the Wii Zapper, a tool used to enhance the first person experiences on the Wii.
And it does its job well in my opinion.
But if you don’t have the Wii Zapper, then all hope is not loss, the Wii Zapper in no way really improves the gameplay to a high degree, some will argue that you might even be better off without it.
As the name implies Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is a look back on the rise and fall of the Umbrella Corp, taking you through the vital events that lead to its “demise.” while at the same time, giving you a new level of perspective on some of the characters.
The game balances the old story with new untold elements, stuff that really wasn’t explained in the other games

But lets be honest, no one plays Resident Evil for the lame story.
I’m not quite sure if I can say this game is scary, but it’s quite tense, and at times very startling.
Anyways, from what I’ve played of Umbrella Chronicles I can safely say that it’ll provide you with hours of Lightgun like entertainment. But not everyone likes that kind of stuff, so this game isn’t really for everyone.
