FATAL/FAKE is another doujin fighting game featuring characters from TYPE-MOON's popular visual novel, FATE/STAY NIGHT. This version is graphically superior than the rest of it's cousins, partly due to the use of cel-shading process to render the fighters.
The camera view changes and rotates automatically so that the player can get the best view of the action unfolding on screen. There doesn't seem to be a playing manual or list of moves to be found anywhere, although arcade veterans should be able to figure them out after a few practice sessions.
Only two characters and arenas are available, but each fight could last up to five rounds and the computer-controlled opponents do offer a bit of a challenge. They're especially adept at executing 28-hit combos and will put up a decent fight.

I've played the demo myself, and I can say it's not a bad game. I also have the latest version, I just have yet to play it. :lol
The graphics aren't bad at all, and being a fan-made game, it makes it more surprising. It also seems that the game is two player, but with the keyboard, I wasn't quite able to even choose a character at Player 2.
The info at the top doesn't tell which characters you can play as, so I will. As of the latest version, you can play as:
Saber
Lancer
Archer
Rider
Assassin
Beserker
Gilgamesh

Light's, the group that made this game, is also working on CRUCIS FATAL+FAKE, a FATAL/FAKE 2 basically, and, from the screenshots provided, you can also play as Shirou and Rin, and more stages are added.
No other info on CRUCIS than the screens and the Japanese homepage for it.
From the screens, though, it also seems that instead of just 2 players, 4 can be played at once in CRUCIS.
