The problem with Bleach on the 360 is the popularity of the 360.

The 360 only got a Naruto game because it was made outside Japan ( in Canada to be precise). Despite the popularity of the console, it's still not as popular in Japan as Microsoft would like, so it would probably take someone outside Japan to do a game for it.

Sega and a few other japanese developers do the Bleach games for Nintendo while Sony develops games for themselves, so if the 360 was to get a Bleach game, it would take MS or someone acting on their behalf like the Ubisoft division in Canada who did Naruto.

While it would be nice for 360 fans to get a game, I don't see it see it happening. Bleach doesn't stop in Japan, and I can't see anyone in the US/Canada doing a game based on Bleach when it's only at 52 episodes and hasn't even finished it's current arc. No way would do a game that would spoil what's coming up, unlike in Japan where they've got 150 episodes to turn into a game .

Most likely not. Bleach is japanese, 360 is American. It is highly unlikely, unless it's a port, so it would be on the other systems, but I still don't think it'll ever happen.

hmm..i can understand most of the reasons..but naruto r.o.a.n. onl;y goes up to like..the second arc..:x..so making a bleach game only go up to say the end of the soul society arc (63)? when it airs...IF it airs...:X or at least on DVD..

Don't they have Bleach games for PSP? I don't know if they are english or japanese but regardless there are Bleach games you can buy and I believe in America. I also think they are fighting games though.

I guess it would depend on what type of game your talking about. A fighting game, they could do different "instalments" like one with the characters there are so far, which would also help them gauge the popularity of the game and continue makeing new games as the dubbed version continues to grow.

For an RPG style bleach game (which would either be good or just total crap IMO...) would probably be a negative, at least for a while, since it would be lame to have an RPG of Bleach that only goes as far as Soul Society.

Who knows that, only time will tell and maybe someone will get a wild hair up their...behind :/ and produce one.

well..if you look at naruto like youve only seen the first 2 arcs and thats it than the 360 game is really really sweet..i wouldnt mind a bleach game with only 12 characters (thats what the naruto game has)

just a bleach fighter that could possibly be online and such..like..maybe an online type ranking mode where you try to battle your rank up in the gotei 13 or such..

i want to say this is just a dumb question all together, but i'm a nice guy. First off this isnt possible. Japanese boycott the Xbox to where it only sold 17,000 units. Which is just ******* horrible and most that is probably from US Soldiers stationed over in japan. Second, Xbox sucks outside of the US....it doesnt do that good anywhere else. Sony and Nintendo own Xbox for free all day long outside US. So really it wont happen. Nintendo has a better chance of this happening.

The Xbox consoles aren't very popular in Japan. It all started when the Xbox was sent to Japan. When the people there saw the new console they didn't find it as attractable as the other gaming systems, in other words they thought it looked like %#$%. With that start in Japan, Xbox 360 probably won't get as much attention from Japanese games than Playstation consoles. I heard about it by watching a special on the Xbox on G4 TV talking about the history of it and how well it did in other countries.

ok....im not asking about whether the xbox system or microsoft corp is doing well in japan or not..i know japan doesnt like it very much so ive known that since the day the original xbox came out.

but im trying to tell you...a videogame company (ubisoft actually) developed a NARUTO game for the xbox..it was only released in the USA and Europe so far..and it has the japanese seiyuu in the game..(so kuto's opinion of them boycotting xbox might not be as much as he thinks, maybe alot of money was offered)so obviously the game company was determined enough to make this game.

so back to my "dumb" question..-_-...anyone believe a videogame company will take bleach under their shelter and produce a fighter for it? it's alreayd been done with naruto..and bleach is the second most popular shonen after naruto..I believe its only a matter of time.

I think it could be done, but not anytime soon. I think ones they have more dubbed out then possibly. If there are special moves (like shikai and bankai) then there is really quite a ways to go because a lot of the characters still haven't even shown their bankai (and a few I think that haven't even show shikai... can't remember for sure though).

But tbh. IMO, it would have to be really well done for it to get any real "gamer" attention. If it's on par with games like Tekken or MK then I think it would sell pretty good, maybe even Soul Caliber otherwise I think it would be pointless to even make one. Who knows though, they might make one and it may be just an awsome fighting game with shunpo and the whole 9 yards.

well nothings gonna beat the popularity or tekken and soul calibur so im not even going that far..

besides..every fighting game im good at is a non popular one..like..psychic force, saint seiya, budokai 3, bloody roar...and i play all those quite in depth :D...

im not ragging on tekken or any other 3d fighters i just cant play good on those games..because its all a matter of who gets hit in the first juggle and its over..blegh..

im not asking for a crazy superior popular game..i mean they got the blade battlers one for ps2 and they arent really popular but are really sweet

GAWD, you shouldn't be so anal about it. Especially when you stated in your first sentence that you're a "nice guy". As fas as I'm aware anyway, The 360 sells well in every other country but Japan. There are Japanese gamers who own 360's, just not a very large majority of them.

here's a straight-forward answer:

will they make a bleach game? yes.
will they make a bleach game soon? no.

OP as you already mentioned, there are plenty of Naruto games already out in the market....and that's all thanks to the notoriety that's been built up for the anime thanks to cartoon network.

bleach will follow in the same vein. whether it's popular enough to make on the 360 is another matter because 360 is geared towards more hardcore gamers inspite of MS's recent emphasis on getting the family involved or whatever that gibberish is.
