The real gate has already sustained two hits - one more and it's down. The scenery around it has changed. If you have a good memory, or are unaffected by illusions, you can hit the real gate.

The "fake" gate is against a wall.

to get the special forces Exorcists, who do other jobs apart from the ones given by Komui, how would you RP as one if you're not one yet, since the special orders would only be given once you get that rank?

During the transition between this arc and the next (assuming the amount of time in between is longer than say... a week) you could conceivably be trained to the point where you act the part assigned to you.
