Applying tactics is strange in RPing. Because you need to set it up prior to it actually happening, you're generally required to mention it, which usually leads to metagaming. If you DONT mention it, it seems random and unfair if it just... pops up somehow. In addition, You can't control their movements and FORCE them into the trap, that would be ghey. Since our visions of a certain situation could be different, they might not even trigger it at all.

Actually... I don't see why you guys are taking this so far. Ok, everyone has different points of view on how to handle our own characters, and these points of view may differ, which is only logical.

Undy, I really see you point, which maybe doesn't make sense since I don't know, and I'm not creative enough, to use different tactics while playing, but the thing is, for this same reason, I understand those who are discussing your idea (as I said, I'm not in your side nor opposing it, I'm just neutral).... but honestly I don't see why this is getting so dramatic.

If we have to make a big fuss for our different points of view on how to play a game (and is just a game) this will never end and this won't be an rpg, but a constant e-drama.

Underneath it all he wants to die and I don't want him to die so he gets hurt so the evil plot bunnies are somewhat satisfied.

Well, the current plan involves him being stabbed in the stomach so Jade has a reason to gain her lvl 2 Innocence. But he gets to blow her hand off while the blade is in him so that makes me slightly happy.

and about the note, you said reaction speed can be used to bringing down damage but what about movement speed, how can that be used. If someones movement speed is faster then someone's attack speed for example then they should be able to move faster then the attack right

To give a Claymore anime reference, when Claire used her super-speed legs, she had trouble adjusting her direction due to momentum.

Eepeti has one hand, therfore one blade. Martosu got the -35 from the Bloody Blades activation because his blood touched the one blade but he didn't give it back....

I did that so it would be easyer for Jade at her brand new lvl 2 to beat the boss without some giant speed stats that would just let her run around Jade for days on end.

Obviously you can still swing your weapon at attack speed 0. It would be suited for someone with an incredibly large weapon.

But let's say one has a simple katana. Their attack speed is zero but movement speed is 100.

Since this is melee, they can still hit, since the attack speed won't increase beyond a certain limit - you can only swing your arms that fast, you know... if you actually want to be able to change the direction of the cut.

Also, the rules:

3- Their movement speed is higher than the opponent's movement speed (close range attacks only).

Melee is pretty much close range, and it seems you're generalizing movement with attack. I'm fine with that, actually, just raising a point.

Oh btw, on a serious note, can I have a regeneration value in my Innocence stats? For example:

Innocence: 100
Attack: 40
Defense: 0
Regeneration: 60

This is an example stat sheet, but you get the idea. I can use my Innocence to insta-heal myself (or heal over a number of posts) for given value.

What dust thou say? I'm not saying this is going to be part of my power btw, just checking every end to be sure :).
