School Rumble is the first anime to make me laugh hard enough to the point of crying. If you don't like School Rumble, then I demand you watch Episode 22 of the first season!

The second season wasn't as big a success as the first one IMO. It was actually a failure on my scale. I only watched it because I liked one of the girls in the anime :).

Ah, I know the story


Hohenheim was an slave in an ancient civilization. One day while cleaning his master's study, he found a dark subastance inside a flask. The substance was something like a homunuscu.. can't write it >_> Anyways, this substances teaches him how to write and everything and gives him his name. So he becomes his master's apprentice and so on. The king of the land is dying and he wants to know how to become inmortal. The substances knows how, and tells the king to dig a canal around the kingdom (a transmutation circle) Then they do the ritual and everyone dies. The substance takes the body of the kind and changes it to look like Hohenheim. The next morning Hohenheim and the 'king' wake up. Hohenheim doesn't know what happen so the 'king' tells him each got half of the souls in the kingdom, and that they are inmoral. Hohenheim is Ed and Al's father and the 'king' is the one the bad guys call 'Father'. They look the same because 'Father' was given Hohenheim's blood to save him, so they are bound to each other.
